Major internet providers slowing traffic speeds for thousands across US

Study finds significant degradations of networks for five largest ISPs, including AT&T

and Time Warner, representing 75% of all wireline households in US

Major internet providers, including AT&T, Time Warner and Verizon, are slowing data from popular websites to thousands of US businesses and residential customers in dozens of cities across the country, according to a study released on Monday.

The study, conducted by internet activists BattlefortheNet, looked at the results from 300,000 internet users and found significant degradations on the networks of the five largest internet service providers (ISPs), representing 75% of all wireline households across the US.

The findings come weeks after the Federal Communications Commission introduced new rules meant to protect “net neutrality” – the principle that all data is equal online – and keep ISPs from holding traffic speeds for ransom.

Tim Karr of Free Press, one of the groups that makes up BattlefortheNet, said the finding show ISPs are not providing content to users at the speeds they’re paying for.

“For too long, internet access providers and their lobbyists have characterized net neutrality protections as a solution in search of a problem,” said Karr. “Data compiled using the Internet Health Test show us otherwise – that there is widespread and systemic abuse across the network. The irony is that this trove of evidence is becoming public just as many in Congress are trying to strip away the open internet protections that would prevent such bad behavior.”

The study, supported by the technologists at Open Technology Institute’s M-Lab, examines the comparative speeds of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), which shoulder some of the data load for popular websites. Any site that becomes popular enough has to pay a CDN to carry its content on a network of servers around the country (or the world) so that the material is close to the people who want to access it.

In Atlanta, for example, Comcast provided hourly median download speeds over a CDN called GTT of 21.4 megabits per second at 7pm throughout the month of May. AT&T provided speeds over the same network of ⅕ of a megabit per second. When a network sends more than twice the traffic it receives, that network is required by AT&T to pay for the privilege. When quizzed about slow speeds on GTT, AT&T told Ars Technica earlier this year that it wouldn’t upgrade capacity to a CDN that saw that much outgoing traffic until it saw some money from that network (as distinct from the money it sees from consumers).

AT&T has strongly opposed regulation of its agreements with the companies that directly provide connectivity between high-traffic internet users and their customers. Cogent, Level3 and others have petitioned the FCC to make free interconnection to CDNs a part of the conditions for the proposed merger between AT&T and DirecTV.

“It would be unprecedented and unjustified to force AT&T to provide free backbone services to other backbone carriers and edge providers, as Cogent et al seek,” said the company in a filing replying to the CDNs’ suggestion, part of a brief opposing the merger. “Nor is there any basis for requiring AT&T to augment network capacity for free and without any limits. Opponents’ proposals would shift the costs of their services onto all AT&T subscribers, many of whom do not use Opponents’ services, and would harm consumers.”

FCC chairman Tom Wheeler has taken an aggressive regulatory tack when it comes to mergers in the telecommunications sector. “History proves that absent competition a predominant position in the market such as yours creates economic incentives to use that market power to protect your traditional business in a way that is ultimately harmful to consumers,” he told industry leaders at the Internet and Television Expo last month.

The dispute over traffic speeds comes as the telecoms and cable industry readies legal challenges to the net neutrality rules. Most telecoms are content letting their lobbyists, notably trade associations Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) and USTelecom, sue the FCC over net neutrality rules, but AT&T has been one of the few companies to sue the FCC directly.

Clinton Foundation Whistle Blower Gets Legal Threats

The reason that there are not more people blowing the whistle on corruption in our country is that there is usually a high price for your telling the truth.  People lose their jobs, friends, reputations, and sometimes even their life.  If telling the truth was painless, more people would do it.  But one person is finding out that it is hard to tell the truth when there is so much money involved.

A former charity executive who helped expose a questionable $500,000 donation to the Clinton Foundation is now being threatened by her old bosses with a lawsuit seeking tens of thousands of dollars, FoxNews.com has learned.

The young lady should not be surprised that there would be backlash for her outing her boss and the Clintons.  And if you believe the stories, she is blessed to be alive.  But, the more pressure that they place on the woman, and she does not cave the more it looks like she is telling the truth.  And the pressure is beginning to get high.


Sue Veres Royal, former executive director at the Happy Hearts Fund, was initially quoted in a May 29 New York Times article that said the charity lured Bill Clinton to a 2014 gala only after offering a $500,000 donation to The Clinton Foundation. His office previously had turned down the charity’s invitations, but this time he accepted; the accompanying donation amounted to almost a quarter of the gala’s net proceeds.


The 2 Million plus event pays out $500,000 on the speaker?  Wow! Being that Clinton has his own charity, and he believes in giving away work and money, you would think that he would simply do the gala for free.  These revelations to the Times has brought heat on Royal.

The Happy Hearts Fund’s legal team fired off a cease-and-desist order to Veres Royal the same day the Times report was published. The charity claimed she had breached a confidentiality agreement and gave “numerous falsehoods, inaccuracies and disparaging statements” about the organization to the Times. The letter demanded she no longer speak to the media or else they would seek damages.

HHF is warning miss Royal that it will cost her to continue to tell the truth.  They will spend the money designated to help Haiti to silence Royal.  This shows the lunacy of these people’s thinking.  How are you going to continue to give to an organization who would waste the money that should be helping people in desperate need?  Well, if your goal is not the betterment of those people, it can be done without much thought.


They have responded to Royal’s comments

“Because we know the strong impact of working together and because the Happy Hearts Fund and the Clinton Foundation have a shared goal of providing meaningful help to Haiti, we proposed a joint educational project with the Clinton Foundation. Any suggestion that this joint project is some kind of ‘honorarium’ or ‘fee’ is unequivocally false,” the spokesman told FoxNews.com in a statement. According to the group, such partnerships have allowed the charity to build 113 schools since 2006 in nine different countries, with more opening this month.

But Royal reports that the money given to the Clinton Foundation has not even been designated yet.  They have not even decided how it should be used.

However, Veres Royal said she was appalled not only by the 2014 Clinton donation but by details she had not known before the Times report was published — most notably that the $500,000, which was supposed to go to causes in the ravaged country of Haiti, still had not been earmarked for any particular project by The Clinton Foundation.

This is just another reason to believe that the Clinton Foundation is merely a slush fund for the Clintons.

WASHINGTON – The Pentagon has confirmed to WND that the Islamic State has seized enough radioactive materials from captured Iraqi facilities to develop “dirty bombs,” just as ISIS’ recent English-language magazine, Dabiq, claimed.The ISIS claim had alarmed the Australian intelligence service, which initially revealed the prospect that ISIS fighters have seized sufficient radioactive and biological materials from research centers and hospitals – which previously were under Iraqi government control. (Understand - ISIS is a USA corporation created terrorist organization, just as Al-Qaeda and others. Each USA created 't' organization has its handlers who issue the orders and who PROVIDE the WEAPONRY TO ACCOMPLISH THE FULFILLMENT OF THEIR ORDERS FROM THE USA corporation.)
Such seizures were first revealed at a meeting of the Australia Group in Perth, Australia, at which Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop expressed the deep concern of members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and regional partners over the potential use by ISIS of the seized materials.
“We are aware of claims that ISIL has declared its motives of developing a ‘dirty bomb’ in a recent edition of its propaganda magazine,” Defense Department spokeswoman, U.S. Navy Cmdr. Elissa Smith, told WND.
“We share the same concern as our Australian defense officials and regional partners and will continue to use our intelligence resources to remain vigilant of any activity and indicators of this violent extremist organization’s intent to employ such weapons,” she said.
It is the first time that any U.S. official has confirmed that the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, had acquired a sufficient amount of radioactive materials to be incorporated in conventional weapons, such as artillery, to spread harmful radiation.
A “dirty bomb” simply is a conventional explosives package wrapped with radioactive or biological materials.

If such projectiles are fired into highly populated, confined areas, the effect of such an explosion would radiate the area for years to come.
U.S. officials have told WND that there is mounting concern that ISIS, with its development of weapons of mass destruction, may accelerate attacks, even though the Muslim world has just entered into the month-long holy period of fasting called Ramadan. (So - the USA criminal cabal 'gov' is telling you what their plans are for us.)
In 2014, Iraq first informed the United Nations by letter that ISIS had seized nuclear materials used for scientific research at a university in the city of Mosul.
That city was captured by ISIS and remains under jihadist control to this day. Mosul is some 400 kilometers, or 250 miles, northwest of Iraq’s capital, Baghdad.
The letter said that ISIS had seized some 40 kilograms, or 88 pounds, of uranium compounds.
The letter appealed for U.N. help to “stave off the threat of their use by terrorists in Iraq or abroad.”
Even though the U.N.’s atomic agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency, claimed at the time that the seizure was of low grade products, experts had stated that such materials could spread radioactivity.
Initially, U.S. officials had played down the threat the materials would pose, claiming that it would be difficult for the jihadists to use the materials to make weapons.
However, Iraq’s ambassador to the U.N., Mohamed Ali Alhakim, said the nuclear materials, “despite the limited amounts, can enable terrorist groups, with the availability of the required expertise (one guess who/what is providing that 'expertise'), to use it separately or in combination with other materials in its terrorist acts.”
In showing some concern over the capture of radioactive materials, the U.S. State Department in September 2014 said that it had signed an agreement with the Baghdad government to step up joint efforts to detect and recover sensitive nuclear materials around the country before ISIS could get to the supplies.
“Obtaining radiological material from places like universities or hospitals is relatively easy if you have the firepower, a chaotic situation and jihadists willing to sacrifice their health handling it,” Ryan Mauro of The Clarion Project told Fox News at the time.
Similarly Matthew Bunn, a professor with the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, told Fox News that the purpose of such a weapon is to terrorize a population and the threat of its use is sufficient for ISIS to accomplish its goal.
“The intent of a dirty bomb is to cause panic with the fear of the radioactivity,” he said. “But that may be more difficult to do if governments can quickly confirm that the amount of radioactivity involved is not a threat to anybody (even though) that in itself is problematic when there’s so much distrust on the subject of radiation risks.”
The letter to the U.N. came a day after Iraqi officials had confirmed that ISIS also had taken control of a disused chemical weapons factory which was said to house expended artillery shells with residue of the poison gas, Sarin. (Imagine that!  Easy to do when your bosses provide the help.)
In talking about ISIS’ latest claim of having sufficient radioactive and biological weapons stockpiles, Australia’s foreign minister, Bishop, told The Australian that such information is “worrying” to NATO and other members of the Australian Group.
It’s been almost a year since ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi announced creation of the Islamic State which is subject to an extreme interpretation of Shariah law. The conquered territory includes portions of north and northeastern Syria and much of the Sunni-dominated western regions of Iraq.

To say Soros is influential within the realms of business and politics would be an understatement. He is considered by many to sit within the very inner circle of the 'elite'. With direct ties to the White House, leading financial institutions and as gatekeeper of the financial assets of many ultra-wealthy individuals, Soros may well be one of the few who call the shots. In his latest article for The New York Review of Books, Soros puts forth a stark warning, and one that has implications for all of mankind. Soros, who has previously warned of coming riots and widespread collapse in America, says time is running short for the United States and China to cooperate in political and financial spheres. Failure, says the multi-billionaire, will undoubtedly lead to a widespread conflagration within a decade. And we’re not just talking about a war of words or a cold conflict – we’re talking all out nuclear war. The US 'government' (this is NOT our nation's legal government - it is a criminal coupe private corporation takeover of our nation and it's Republic government, more commonly known to have more publicly occurred in the 1920's and 30's) has little to gain and much to lose by treating the relationship with China as a zero-sum game. In other words it has little bargaining power. It could, of course, obstruct China’s progress, but that would be very dangerous. President Xi Jinping has taken personal responsibility for the economy and national security. If his market-oriented reforms fail, he may foster some external conflicts to keep the country united and maintain himself in power. This could lead China to align itself with Russia not only financially but also politically and militarily. (This is their PLAN and it HAS been officially ENACTED.) In that case, should the external conflict escalate into a military confrontation with an ally of the United States such as Japan, it is not an exaggeration to say that we would be on the threshold of a third world war. Indeed, military budgets are rapidly increasing both in Russia and in China, and they remain at a very high level in the United States. For China, rearmament would be a surefire way to boost domestic demand. China is already flexing its military muscle in the South China Sea, operating in a unilateral and often quite belligerent manner, which is causing justifiable concern in Washington (That concern remains to be seen, as 'the plan' is for the alliance between China and Russia to occur, and for invasion and destruction of the USA to take place shortly. The troops are here and in place with the knowledge and assistance of the USA military). Nevertheless, it may take a decade or more until a Russian–Chinese military alliance would be ready to confront the US directly (They are ready now - just waiting). Until then, we may expect a continuation of hybrid warfare and the proliferation of proxy wars. China is preparing for something big later this year. Soros touches on this in his op-ed, noting that the Chinese are ready to have their currency be included in the global SDR (Special Drawing Rights) basket maintained by the IMF, giving their currency global reach and some level of reserve status. The United States (cabal corporation 'Federal Reserve' mafia) opposes such a move but, by doing so, is creating more hostility between East and West. Whatever the case, insofar as China’s currency is concerned, does anyone really believe that the United States is willing to give up its position as the world’s only super power (Folks, don't be DECEIVED!!! The 'plan' is for the destruction of our nation, and it is being done with the agreement and assistance of the USA corporation rogue 'government' within as well as with the assistance of the Provost Marshall and USA military since they REFUSE to stop, arrest and prosecute the criminal actions by the treasonous actors - CON-gress, 'president', and all their sub corporations - FBI,CIA, DHS, et al) by simply conceding economic power to the Chinese? While Soros outlines his solutions, which involve a lot of political pandering and agreements, those in the upper echelons of the governing structures of the East and West have a lot to lose should they concede too much. We have to assume that peaceful resolutions will give way to egos, money, power and influence, just as they have throughout human history (the PLAN of the evil 'elites). This, of course, suggests that rather than finding middle-ground, there is a real danger that events will continue to escalate as the United States, China, and Russia increase military activity in proxy states like Ukraine, Iran, Syria and even North Korea. (also part of the 'plan.') The scenario painted by Soros isn’t that far-fetched, and it is one that has been put forth by Joel Skousen of World Affairs Brief, who noted in a recent documentary that a war with China and Russia may be inevitable. Like Soros, Skousen has suggested a timeline into the early 2020’s because China and Russia need more time to ramp up their military and technological capabilities. (BS - they are prepared and they are HERE.) Once they’re ready, though, it will happen quickly and according to Skousen it will likely start in Asia: Here’s how I think it’s going down. I think there will be an attack against South Korea. The North Koreans have over two million troops… 20,000 artillery… they can level Seoul in a matter of three or four days. The only way the U.S. can stop that attack is using tactical nuclear weapons. And that would give China the excuse to nuke the United States. Billionaire Thugs Plot To Steal California’s Water And Everything They Tell You Is A Lie

This article is from 2010, but is very informative.  This is what the criminal cabal has been working on for decades, i.e. a drought in order to control and make billions, while destroying neighborhoods and property values (so they can gobble them up pennies on the dollar).  Note that in 2009 we had a Republican governor, and now we have a Democrat governor; they are working in unison.

We’ve been lied to for years now about the severity of California’s water shortage. The media and state officials have been ringing the alarm,  warning that the state was in the grips of the quite possibly the “worst California drought in modern history,” when in fact the state nearly pulled in its average rainfall in 2009. The fear mongering is about to go into overdrive, as powerful interests start whipping up fears of drought to push through a $11 billion bond measure on the upcoming November elections, setting up the Golden State for a corporate water grab.

The power of simple fact-checking aside, why would California officials exaggerate — if not outright lie — about the drought? Well, the issue here is less about the drought itself and more about what a drought — real or not — can help achieve.


If there is one thing 2009 revealed about California’s “action hero” governor, it’s that he is eagerly willing to serve as the front man for the sleaziest, most crooked business cartel in the state: a de facto water oligarchy made up of billionaire corporate farmers who run vast stretches of the state like their own personal fiefdoms, exploiting migrant workers for slave labor and soaking the taxpayers for billions of dollars in subsidies every year.


And like all good businessmen, they aren’t letting a good mini-crisis go to waste. Their objective is to whip up fears of a drought-related calamity to push through a “solution” they’ve been having wet dreams about for the past five decades: a multi-billion-dollar aqueduct the width of the Panama Canal that would give them near total control of more than half of California’s water supplies.

Schwarzenegger’s mandate that urban water use be cut by 20 percent has earned the governor a lot of green cred, but few people realize that his plan for water conservation is actually a forced wealth transfer scheme in a environmentalist disguise.


Conservation is a good idea, but it won’t do much good for California, no matter how diligent residents are about turning off the tap while brushing or the number of low-flush toilets they install, not unless farmers are forced to conserve water as well.


It is a simple matter of discrimination. Why is the agricultural industry exempted from mandatory conservation when it consumes an  unreal 80% of California’s water?

There won’t be much conservation going on even if every living soul in California up and moves to another state because no matter how much water city dwellers save, it’ll be sucked up by wealthy corporate farmers who are always on the lookout for more taxpayer-subsidized wet wealth.


And with water trading for a minimum at ten times what they pay for it on the open market, every gallon a city dweller conserves will will end up as cash in the personal bank account of some wealthy corporate farmers.


It’s all part of the master plan because, even as the governor talks up urban conservation, he tries his darnedest to get them more water.

Franchi tells us that Jade Helm has splintered globally and warns us that the highly occultic 'cremation of care' ritual at the upcoming Bohemian Grove meeting attended by the elite in California coincide with the OFFICIAL start of Jade Helm on July 15th. With Russia also wargaming now and also hosting huge military 'drills' in September, will Jade Helm 15 soon turn into the actual PHYSICAL manifestation of the 'cremation of America' as suggested by Franchi? The Cremation of Care is a ritual performance undertaken at the yearly Bohemian Grove club, where a mock child sacrifice is made to an approximate 40ft stone owl. The ritual involves club members, often high ranking businessmen and politicians, cremating (getting rid of) their care (moral compass) in order to clear their conscience for the year ahead.
Presumably the cremation of care is conducted because club members will be involved in unethical business deals and corrupt political decisions in the coming year and want to rid themselves of any internal guilt. This most likely just being symbolic.

The owl idol used during the cremation of care might represent Minerva like other symbols of the club, the Babylonian demon Lilith or a rendition of Phoenician child sacrifice God Moloch. The narrator of the ritual names Phoenicia during the line, “As vanished Babylon and goodly Tyre, So shall they also vanish.” Tyre is another term for “an ancient seaport of Phoenicia”.

This past week, 4 separate groups of wargames for NATO and their allies included Operation Saber Strike 15, Operation Noble Jump, Operation Baltop and Exercise Eagle Talon. Operation Saber Strike was one of the largest multinational shows of force since World War 2. Franchi asks us if we heard about this on the mainstream media and if not, WHY not?

According to his own assessment, JH15 has unofficially gone live over a month early and the extreme intensification of military exercises all across the globe, in coordination with NATO, are likely in preparation for war with China and Russia. Each of the different exercises going on right now is broken down below.:



BALTOPS 2015 is a major naval exercise involving 5,600 naval and ground forces taking place in Poland, Sweden, Germany and throughout the Baltic Sea. The exercise is designed to solidify interoperability, and display the power of allied and partner forces to defend the Baltic region. A total of 49 ships, 61 aircraft (including B-52 Bombers), one submarine and a combined landing force of 700 Swedish, Finnish, UK and US troops are participating from 17 NATO nations and partner nations.

OPERATION SABER STRIKE includes 6,000 troops from 13 countries and features the integration of U.S. close air support with partner nation ground forces and a demonstration of U.S. air deployment of forces and equipment. All activities will feature joint, multinational training among the participating nations. The video at the beginning of this report was from the Saber Strike final battle.

NOBLE JUMP, also in poland, is the exercise training over 2,100 personnel from 11 Allied nations for the new “Spearhead high readiness force” that includes 5000 land troops. In one drill Czech and Dutch soldiers practiced on the mortar range.

The goal of the new swift reaction force is to deploy within 48 hours notice as part of the Alliance’s larger NATO Response Force, which is being increased to a force level of around 30,000 troops.

EXERCISE EAGLE TALON is a part of Operation ATLANTIC RESOLVE and OPERATION BALTOP it includes Polish F-16 fighter jets from Łask Air Base, Poland, US Airmen from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany and the South Carolina Air National Guard in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.


So, what are we REALLY looking at? When we include approx. 13,000 troops from Operation Hedgehog as well, there's a total fighting force for NATO of more than 26,000 and who is the threat they're preparing for? Russia. With NATO continuing to poke the Russian bear allegedly due to Russia's aggression in the Ukraine and Crimea, Putin has responded by adding an additional 40 new nuclear intercontinental-ballistic missiles, giving them more than enough firepower to destroy the world if NATO continues to provoke. Franchi warns us that both sides have been threatening to use nuclear weapons and if so, escalating tensions to a point that is far beyond repair.
