While Big Pharma tries to instill the promise that they have patients’ best interests at heart, most people beg to differ. Missing data (remember Merck’s Gardasil, an HPV drug tested and approved for both men and women, when in actuality, there was information pertaining only to its impact on male subjects?), greed, a hodgepodge of toxic chemicals and suppression of symptoms rather than truly addressing (and ideally, ridding) them are often all part of the dance.(1)
It’s not any surprise, then, that researchers have discovered that a popular class of psychiatric drugs designed to treat depression can alter the brain’s architecture in just a few short hours. Such alteration isn’t to the person’s advantage either; in addition to changes in the brain, experts found that most patients experience improvements in mood not in hours or days thereafter, but weeks.(2)
Findings show how brain connectivity is altered when exposed to antidepressants
Researchers from the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany, used a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine to compare the brain connectivity in people who take such drugs and those who don’t. To most accurately assess their observations, they specifically focused on changes in the brain when participants daydreamed, as experts have found that such a way of thinking is a strong indication of properly functioning brain connectivity.
The findings, published in the journal Current Biology, showed that serotonin decreased functional connectivity. Drugs referred to as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are used to help treat depression and are most commonly known by names such as Prozac, Zoloft, Lexapro, Paxil and Celexa.(2)
The study, titled “Serotonergic Modulation of Intrinsic Functional Connectivity,” notes the following:
Here, we show evidence that a single dose of a serotonin reuptake inhibitor dramatically alters functional connectivity throughout the whole brain in healthy subjects (n = 22). Our network-centrality analysis reveals a widespread decrease in connectivity in most cortical and subcortical areas.(3)
Interestingly, there was also the finding that some areas of the brain appeared to behave to the contrary, as was the case of the cerebellum and thalamus, which play a role in motor function and even performing higher-level cognitive tasks.
“It was interesting to see two patterns that seemed to go in the opposite direction,” said neuroscientist Dr. Julia Sacher, who also co-authored the study. “What was really surprising was that the entire brain would light up after only three hours. We didn’t expect that.”(2)
The overall disruptions in the brain are concerning, especially considering that people don’t typically feel improvements in mood for up to two weeks after taking depression drugs. This fluctuation in brain architecture that involves an ebb and flow of connectivity and alterations in synapses don’t necessarily translate to SSRI success — as much more needs to be studied in this area — and for many, may raise questions about the fact that it could be doing more harm than good.
Expert says that “in a perfect world” non-pharmacological methods would receive more attention.

January 1, 2015: 5.1M earthquake off the shores of California, and new swarm develops at the border of Nevada and Oregon.   2 days ago, on December 30 2014, I made a post on a earthquake which occurred just South of Los Angeles California -- happening near a few offshore drilling platforms. Now that a 5.1M earthquake has struck near the coast of NW California, this confirms the pressure rebuilding on the West coast causes activity at known volcanic sites. After we see movement on the West coast like this 5.1M event, we need to watch the edge of the craton for possible larger earthquakes in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas.... After we see movement in the aforementioned states, we should see activity in the Southeast to East United States (Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas). There is a remote chance that the East coast (far NORTHEAST) could see movement over the next several days.  New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey.  Be on watch. Finally, after all the above movement takes place, we can expect a reset of the pressure to occur again, this next time, it should occur further NW from this current California 5.1M earthquakes (Off shore of Oregon or British Columbia). We can expect all the movement discussed above to happen over the next 7 days (starting today, January 1 2015 @ 900am CDT). January 1, 2015: Past 48 hours of earthquakes 2.5M+ in the United States (up to 9am CST). Movement along the edge of the craton (middle south portion) in Texas and Oklahoma - multiple 3.0-4.0M earthquakes. After the movement in TX and OK, we saw a reset of the pressure occur off the West Coast of California. Now, with another passenger plane lost, the call for action is becoming more insistent. Tracking aircraft by satellite and live-streaming of black box data were cited as top priorities by industry insiders after the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 with 239 people on board. Its fate remains a mystery despite a long underwater search west of Australia. Members of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) -- the UN's aviation body -- agreed in the aftermath of the incident to mandate real-time tracking. But they did not set a timeline as airlines mulled the additional costs involved. Many carriers have been losing money for years. Now, with the apparent loss of AirAsia Flight QZ8501 on Sunday off Indonesia, the calls for immediate changes have returned with vehemence. The Airbus A320-200 carrying 162 people lost contact en route from Indonesia's second-largest city Surabaya to Singapore. An aerial search crew on Tuesday spotted apparent debris in the Java Sea. Experts say while real-time tracking technology would not have prevented loss of life in the two incidents, it would have significantly streamlined search efforts. Real-time tracking "won't save lives but recovering wreckage and the black boxes in a timely manner could lead to safety and operational changes that will save lives in the future", said Scott Hamilton, managing director of US aerospace consultancy Leeham Co. - 'Tombstone mentality' - In a scathing commentary, Hamilton accused the ICAO of "dithering since MH370 about mandating real-time tracking". "Aviation regulators are infamous for their 'tombstone' mentality -- not requiring safety changes until people die," he wrote. Some in the aviation industry complain about the high costs of adopting satellite-based technology, but critics such as Hamilton point out that airlines are simultaneously investing millions to offer passengers satellite-based broadband services. US-based aviation consultant Robert Mann said airlines are "dodging action now" in the hope that a "future satellite-based (tracking) solution will be faster, better and cheaper in the late 2020s". "I do not see the airline industry adopting real-time flight following unless mandated to do so," Mann told AFP, adding that in the maritime industry, satellite tracking has been required since 1988. The ICAO says there are off-the-shelf real-time tracking solutions costing under $100,000 per plane. British satellite operator Inmarsat has offered a basic tracking service to all of the world's passenger airlines for free. But some industry insiders say the focus should not solely be on the state-of-the-art tracking technology. As was the case in the MH370 incident, authorities involved in the search for Flight QZ8501 did not immediately pick up signals from the aircraft's emergency locator transmitter -- mandatory in the industry for decades -- when the plane went missing. "Even with MH370 the beacon did not go off. Why aren't we getting the beacon in large-scale incidents?" said Jakarta-based aviation consultant Gerry Soejatman. "I am not saying it is a faulty system. The beacon (ELT) is the best thing we have at the moment. But we have to work on improving it," he said. And some observers say criticism over the aviation industry's perceived inaction over tracking should be grounded in reality. "Even if there had been consensus about real-time tracking after MH370, it was always going to take quite a long time to make the changes. Certainly not within one year," Terence Fan, an aviation expert at the Singapore Management University, told AFP. Andrew Herdman, director-general of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines, said ICAO efforts for an industry-wide adoption of real-time tracking "remain steady". "Short- to medium-term efforts to enhance global tracking are ongoing. This also includes data-streaming black boxes," he said. "At this moment, we really should be focusing on the search effort, and we should be cautious about linking the incident to the ongoing debate on flight tracking," he added. --- Human concept was designed for far beyond this. Take a look at the Comex. Since the middle of 2012 or so, they've been forcing gold contracts to settle not in metal, but in cash. And if you don't like it, they'll ban you from the Comex. There's been very little if any settlement of gold futures contracts for two years in gold metal. They're not a gold market anymore, they're a derivative market for gold instruments.

So, in late September... about a week ago, Shanghai started offering a gold and futures contract, and they're settling in metal. And this is rabidly threatening the United States and London. And interestingly, you will notice shortly after this new exchange opened there are now uprisings in Hong Kong.

But this is the final phase... the end game of the next reset. They are going to do this in Shanghai and with their global gold contracts, with the real big event that's going to create mass disruptions in the currency markets.
