Frankfurt (AFP) - Violent clashes between anti-capitalist protesters and German police left dozens injured and a trail of destruction in Germany's financial capital as the European Central Bank opened its new headquarters Wednesday.

In fierce street battles that began in the early hours in the well-heeled western city of Frankfurt, 14 police and 21 anti-capitalist protesters were wounded, police and rally organisers said.
Police said they had made 19 arrests by 1700 GMT, mostly on charges of disturbing the peace and arson after seven police cars were set ablaze and a police station pelted with rocks.
Firefighters also came under attack during several of the 47 times they were called out to douse the flames of burning automobiles and barricades made from toppled garbage bins.
Police said 80 officers had been hurt by an irritant gas, but were later put back on duty, while Blockupy organisers said on Twitter that over 100 demonstrators were injured by tear gas and pepper spray.
Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere condemned the "explosion of violence" which will be discussed in parliament on Thursday.

Blockupy attempted to distance itself from the violence, which was timed to protest the official opening of the ECB's new 1.3-billion-euro ($1.4-billion) towering headquarters.

- 'Not what we planned' -
"This is not what we in Blockupy had planned," spokesman Ulrich Wilken told a news conference.
But he said he "understood" people's anger at the "policies of impoverishment" being imposed on people by governments and international creditors in crisis-hit eurozone countries.
Another Blockupy spokesman, Christoph Kleine, estimated that around 6,000 activists had taken part in the morning's activities, including 1,000 from outside Germany.

A march through the city centre and rally on Frankfurt's historic Roemerberg square in the afternoon drew 15,000 people according to police, while organisers put the number at 20,000.
As the sun set the rally remained peaceful, with marchers chanting "solidarity means resistance", even as a large police contingent looked on and police helicopters circled overhead.
The crowd gradually dispersed until the organisers declared the protest over. However the police presence remained high.
The target of protesters' anger was the ECB's new 185-metre (605-foot) high twin-tower headquarters, officially opened by the central bank's president Mario Draghi at 11:00 am (1000 GMT).
Draghi, addressing some 100 invited guests at a low-key ceremony, rejected blame for the suffering brought by budget cuts and austerity policies amid the financial crisis in Europe.

"As an EU institution that has played a central role throughout the crisis, the ECB has become a focal point for those frustrated with this situation," Draghi said.
"This may not be a fair charge -– our action has been aimed precisely at cushioning the shocks suffered by the economy," he said.
"But as the central bank of the whole euro area, we must listen very carefully to what all our citizens are saying."
- 'Lack of understanding' -
German Economy Minister and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said that to blame the ECB for Europe's woes "testifies to a significant lack of understanding about what the ECB is currently doing for cohesion in Europe".

Draghi, referring to the protests outside, said it was a "very difficult situation" and offered "truly special and warmest thanks to the police and the security forces".
Kleine argued that police should shoulder some of the blame for the morning's violence, accusing them of using excessive force to provoke demonstrators.
Authorities had mobilised one of the biggest ever police deployments in the city, which has seen its share of street violence. At a rally in March 2012, a policeman was seriously injured when protesters went on the rampage in the city centre, causing around one million euros worth of damage.
In Berlin, leading politicians condemned Wednesday's chaotic scenes.
Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said that "no one has the right to threaten life and limb of police and firefighters".
Blockupy brings together anti-capitalist and anti-austerity protesters from across Europe. They camped out in tents at the foot of the ECB's old Eurotower headquarters in Frankfurt for months in 2013.
Speakers at the final rally included members of protest groups such as Attac, trade unions as well as Greece's governing leftist Syriza party, and Miguel Urban of Spain's left-wing Podemos.

The ECB inauguration ceremony was symbolic as bank staff already moved into the new building overlooking the Main river late last year.

Until last year, the ECB, which took over monetary policy in the single currency area in 1998, had been housed in a skyscraper, known as the Eurotower, in downtown Frankfurt.

Wall Street investment banks finally stopped securitising AFBS sub-prime loans when one investment bank received a letter dated 15th May 2003, addressed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the SEC asking: ‘Who is protecting these (AFBS) investors?’

Cisco will ship boxes to vacant addresses in a bid to foil the NSA, security chief John Stewart says.

The dead drop shipments help to foil a Snowden-revealed operation whereby the NSA would intercept networking kit and install backdoors before boxen reached customers.

The interception campaign was revealed last May.

Speaking at a Cisco Live press panel in Melbourne today, Stewart says the Borg will ship to fake identities for its most sensitive customers, in the hope that the NSA's interceptions are targeted.

"We ship [boxes] to an address that's has nothing to do with the customer, and then you have no idea who ultimately it is going to," Stewart says.

"When customers are truly worried ... it causes other issues to make [interception] more difficult in that [agencies] don't quite know where that router is going so its very hard to target - you'd have to target all of them.

There is always going to be inherent risk."

Stewart says some customers drive up to a distributor and pick up hardware at the door.

The 16th Amendment Purporting To Authorize Federal Taxation Of US Individuals Was Never Ratified By The States.

The first Federal income tax in the United States occurred during the civil war, through the passage of The Revenue Act of 1861: three percent for those making between $600 and $10,000, and five percent for those making over $10,000. This income tax was repealed ten years later.

The U.S. Supreme Court, however, ruled that the Federal income tax violated the U.S. Constitution because it was a direct tax on individuals and not apportioned between the States, required by the Constitution. The Constitution protects individuals against the abuse of Federal government power by stripping from the FEDs the power to tax individuals, knowing the power to tax is the power to destroy.

So the Federal power-seekers sought to overrule our forefathers and to empower the Federal Government, (that is, our US Federal Corporation, hereinafter, “The FEDS”) with the power to tax individuals through the 16th Amendment.

The ratification of the 16th Amendment is dubious. In 1913, the same year British agents steered through Congress the FED fraud on the night before Christmas Eve, the 16th Amendment was hatched. But the founders made changing the Constitution difficult, to say the least. US will ‘have to negotiate’ with Syria’s Assad – Kerry

Washington will have to negotiate with Syrian President Bashar Assad about a political transition in war-torn country, US Secretary of State John Kerry told CBS News on Sunday.



“We have to negotiate in the end. We’ve always been willing to negotiate in the context of the Geneva-1 process,” Kerry said, referring to the June 30, 2012 peace conference on Syria.
Kerry added that the US and some other countries were trying to restart talks on the resolution of the conflict in Syria, which has now entered its fifth year.
“What we’re pushing for is to get [Assad] to come and do that, and it may require that there be increased pressure on him of various kinds in order to do that,” Kerry said. “We’ve made it very clear to people that we are looking at increased steps that can help bring about that pressure.”

‘Military pressure’ may be needed to oust Syrian President – John Kerry

Some Western states, particularly the US, have insisted that Assad should step down. Kerry even said on March 5 that “military pressure” may be needed to oust the Syrian president. Kerry’s statement on Sunday, given in an interview to US media, hints that Washington may be softening its stance towards the Syrian government.
Kerry was speaking on the fourth anniversary of the start of the civil war in Syria, which started as peaceful protests against the Assad government, but descended into violence claiming more than 210,000 lives. The US has been supporting the Syrian rebels, who insist that the Syrian president should be ousted. In January, Russia and the US organized the Geneva-2 peace talks between Assad’s government and the Syrian opposition. However, after two rounds of negotiations, no agreement was reached. This April, Moscow is set to host a meeting between the two sides of the conflict.
Last September, the US-led coalition started airstrikes in Syria as a part of a joint effort to battle Islamic State militants (formerly known as ISIS, or ISIL), who had seized northern Syria and parts of Iraq. Assad has stressed multiple times that strikes are an illegal intervention because they have not been authorized by a UN Security Council resolution and do not respect the sovereignty of Syria.

Assad told French reporters in December that the airstrikes are “merely cosmetic” and “terrorism cannot be destroyed from the air.” He stressed that the Syrian army has been conducting ground operations as well as airstrikes against terrorists which are larger than that those launched by the alliance.
“We are the ones fighting the battles against ISIS on the ground, and we haven’t felt any change, particularly that Turkey is still extending direct support to ISIS in those regions,” he said.
He also criticized the US policy in the Middle East saying that “ISIS was created in Iraq in 2006. It was the United States which occupied Iraq, not Syria. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi [IS leader] was in American prisons, not in Syrian prisons. So, who created ISIS, Syria or the United States?”
It would be far easier to address the issue of the Islamic State militants in Syria if the opposition and the government negotiated a ceasefire, UN envoy Staffan de Mistura told RT on March 6.
“So if one wants to address properly the space which Daesh [an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group] has filled in, one of the clear formulas is to try to address in a peaceful way the political process in Syria. In other words, if Syrian conflict would end tomorrow, it would by far easier to address the issue of Daesh.”
He also said that the Syrian people themselves should decide upon their future and start an internal discussion. He added that the governments, who have “an influence, who have been involved, engaged with the government or with the opposition” should be helping in facilitating the Syrian peace dialogue.
“That is why I think the Moscow meeting has been very useful. And I’m looking forward to seeing Moscow-2 too, because it helps in engaging Syrians – among [them] the Syrian people, the opposition and even the government. They need to find a Syrian solution.”

That our information involves deep parallels with the threats Shrimpton informed the British government of is no coincidence.  We are of the belief that a series of EMP based weapons have been deployed within the US.
Only weeks ago, we came upon intelligence indicating that a key part of 9/11 involved taking down America’s stock markets and banking system by destroying key junctions in Fort Lee, New Jersey, on the George Washington Bridge and in the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels using massive conventional explosives, some as truck bombs.



Our assumption is that, with what we now know to have been the failure of 9/11, Gore disgraced, Lieberman in the White House, war with Iran, Pakistan and Turkey in the same meltdown we are seeing in Libya, most of Africa and Asia in total collapse, our “friends” are going to try a shortcut.  Blocking them is Kerry, Dempsey and Obama and folks few might believe, like Diane Feinstein.

Intel is pouring in over the last 24 hours.  “Intel” is another term for “unsubstantiated rumor,” we all have to admit that, particularly since the Bush/Blair years of lies and treason.  However, withholding some material is irresponsible though it is impossible to identify an “authority” capable of understanding or dealing with threats against the United States.

With the downfall of the CIA and the ludicrous alphabet soup monstrosities, the US is helpless in the face of a very real conspiracy.  Here is what we know or think or feel or whatever.

We have a high probability that a coup is afoot in the United States and have strong reason to believe that one was attempted in Russia. When the Russian coup was stopped, good guess who planned to take over is now “out of the picture,” our NATO friends saw the writing on the wall.
Israeli intelligence is totally aware of all of this and, on this odd occasion, on the right side of the fence.  We wish we could say that of others in Israel.
We have confirmation from Russia that they are moving against NATO and the US, economically at least, with huge inroads with China and other regional powers in the last 72 hours.

America, or what the America’s criminal cabals represent, is going to be frozen out of Asia for generations.  Just because Fox News and InfoWars won’t report it doesn’t mean it isn’t true and, frankly, the best possible thing for the American people.

Explosive laden vans driven by contracted Egyptian, Saudi and Israeli operatives, long affiliated with the CIA, were to destroy fiber optic pathways on the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln and Holland Tunnels — an action estimated to keep America’s markets, including the Federal Reserve and SWIFT system, offline for up to 3 months.

Additionally, the secret NSA/FBI intercept site at Fort Lee, adjacent to the George Washington Bridge, would be taken offline. All American counter-intelligence functions would, at that moment, simply cease.
The end result would be astoundingly worse than the Bush – Cheney disaster, which in itself was 8 years of financial looting, illegal war and police state oppression. This is what was envisioned:

• Lieberman would assume the presidency either on 9/11 itself upon the death of President Gore or soon thereafter based on a carefully orchestrated campaign to force Gore’s resignation;
• Iran was to be blamed for 9/11 and an immediate war would commence;
• Senator John McCain would be nominated as the new Vice President;
• The crash of the financial markets would disrupt electric utilities, transportation including food processing and distribution and gasoline supplies, disrupting many governmental functions as well;
• The Department of Homeland Security would be created with immediate powers of martial law in order to deal with riots caused by a freezing and starving population, a population ready to go to war with “no questions asked”.

However, recently discovered intelligence files covering the era tell a very different story. We will examine what we have learned and, just perhaps, take a look at a world we were never allowed to see.
During our research, we have met several who are silenced by court order, some by threat and others we would question, like John Wheeler III, Roland Carnaby and John O’Neill, conveniently dead.
The 2000 and 2004 presidential elections were more than controversial. In each case, exit polling, known to be accurate to well within 1%, showed nearly landslide victories for both Gore and, in 2004, John Kerry. In 2000, on election day, Bush was 12 points behind in the polls.
Conspiracy theorists had long assumed that the Bush presidency was the result of a deal struck between Rothschild bankers, Likudists in Israel seeking a Middle East war and Wall Street “pump and dump” investment fraudsters. To a large extent, history has proven them right, particularly considering revelations, not accepted by all, that 9/11 was most certainly an “inside job.”

What was kept from the world through controlled news is that the vast majority of Americans, many of whom never vote, considered these elections a coup d’état and still do to this day.
The 2014 congressional elections were similarly rigged with 37% of voters electing gambling boss Sheldon Adelson’s personal roster of “mob owned” candidates — the gang who invited Netanyahu to the US against administration wishes.

There were two centers of power in America during the last quarter of the 20th century, Chicago and New York. Each was ruled by a criminal group, part of an “octopus,” an international conspiracy that Dr. Preston James has named the Secret Shadow Government or “SSG.”

Prescott Bush Sr. and George Herbert Walker channeled Rothschild cash into Hitler through Brown Brothers Harriman, a Wall Street Bank while his namesake, Prescott Bush Jr. partnered with Israeli Victor Bout and Saudi Adnan Khashoggi to sell nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia, Brazil, North Korea and Taiwan decades later.

Bush was released and the arrest expunged, but arresting officer R.E. Vaughn recounted the story several times.
One of the first acts of the Clinton administration was to declassify documents proving Bush was in Dallas on the day of the killing — something George H.W. Bush denied repeatedly.

New gold price medium may lift China’s ‘secretive veil’

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — On Friday, for the first time in close to a century, the gold market price fix is about to change. It is a move that could potentially provide a better view of China’s insatiable demand for the precious metal.

The London Bullion Market Association said the LBMA Gold Price will launch on Friday, with the ICE Benchmark Administration operating the auction process. That will replace the so-called London Gold Fix, a widely-used pricing medium that has been around since 1919 and is administered by London Gold Market Fixing Ltd. twice daily.

“The changes taking place with the new gold fix could be a game changer for gold trading as we know it,” said Kevin Kerr, president of Kerr Trading International.

Here’s why:

The London Gold Fix, which will be discontinued after Thursday, is determined by just four participants. The nearly 100-year-old, medium has also been the target of decades of manipulation allegations.

But the LBMA has said the electronic auction process for setting the gold price is designed to be transparent and to allow as many participants as possible.

“The new method for fixing the gold price daily will be more reflective of that day’s collective price of gold on the world market,” said Jim Wyckoff, senior analyst at Kitco.com, adding that he believes the previous London fix “was not greatly askew on that determination.”

China is expected to participate directly in setting the new price fix, which, in theory, would make inflows and outflows out of the world’s second largest economy, and one of the largest gold buyers, more apparent.

“This opens up the playing field for gold trading, and adds an entirely new spectrum of possibilities and participants, mainly the Chinese, on the world stage,” Kerr said. “It may lift the very secretive veil” of China’s gold consumption Kerr noted.

For it is part, LBMA said it won’t reveal the participants for the new pricing medium until the day of the launch.

But if the Chinese banks are directly involved in the fixing of the gold price, “they can arbitrage price differences between Shanghai and London [and smooth] out the market … making it an international, 24-hour market,” said Julian Phillips, founder of and contributor to

GoldForecaster.com.

The new fix isn’t expected to affect gold prices GCJ5, +0.29%  in the near term.

The most amazing airplane in History

For the Airplane Buffs.

 Built in Russia during the 1930's, it flew 11 times before crashing and killing 15 people.

The designer, Konstantin Kalinin, wanted to build two more planes but the project was scrapped.

Later, Stalin had Kalinin executed. Evidently, it was not good to fail on an expensive project under Stalin.

It's got propellers on the back of the wings, too. You can count 12 engines facing front. The size would be equivalent to the Empire State Building on its side, with cannons. And you think the 747 was big ... not only a bunch of engines, but check out the cannons the thing was carrying.

In the 1930's, the Russian army was obsessed by the idea of creating huge planes. At that time they were proposed to have as many propellers as possible to help carrying those huge flying fortresses into the air -  jet propulsion has not been implemented yet. Not many photos were saved from those times because of the high secrecy levels of such projects and because a lot of time has already passed.

Can you imagine what it would be like sitting in this thing when those cannons go off?

Looks like something out of a Jules Verne novel.
