Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who gave rioters “space to destroy” property and reportedly told police to stand down, was a key player in the Justice Dept.’s plan to expand federal control over local law enforcement.

Rawlings-Blake was one of three mayors who provided broad input into President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, which advocates the federalization of police departments across the country by forcing them to adhere to stricter federal requirements when they receive funding.

“The federal government can be a strong partner in our efforts in build better relationships between the police and community,” she said in written testimony before the task force.

 That would explain her inaction to stop the rioting when it began: by allowing it to spiral out of control, the mayor and her friends at the Justice Dept. could use the unrest to justify the expansion of federal power into local law enforcement, which would also allow her to receive more funding.

President Obama said the Task Force on 21st Century Policing is “directed at the 18,000 law enforcement jurisdictions that are out there.”
“I’m going to be asking Eric Holder and the Justice Department and his successor to go through all these recommendations so that we can start implementing them,” he said. “I know that one area that’s going to be of great interest is whether we can expand the COPS program that in the past has been very effective, continues to be effective, but is largely underfunded – to see if we can get more incentives for local communities to apply some of the best practices and lessons that are embodied in this report.”
And Rawlings-Blake was more than willing to apply these “best practices” in exchange for federal funding.
“Our police commanders are constantly seeking additional dollars, both to develop best practices and to then teach those practices to our officers and our developing leaders,” she also said. “If there is any place where the federal government and U.S. Department of Justice could produce a tangible impact on our officers and our efforts, it would be to provide more resources in this area.”

Soros Group Advocates Violence Against Cops in Baltimore

Foundation played role in agitating demonstrators during Ferguson protests

Social media pages run by the George Soros-founded Open Society Foundations appeared to justify violence in Baltimore, in particular against police.

Yesterday, two of the foundation’s social media pages sent a Vox article out to their followers entitled, “This is the perfect response to anyone calling for nonviolence in Baltimore,” with an alternate headline reading, “The important thing everyone calling for nonviolence in Baltimore fails to say.”

The article highlights a story from The Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates, in which the author argues that protestor violence is an apt response to the violence perpetrated by police on residents of Baltimore throughout the years.

When nonviolence is preached by the representatives of the state, while the state doles out heaps of violence to its citizens, it reveals itself to be a con. And none of this can mean that rioting or violence is “correct” or “wise,” any more than a forest fire can be “correct” or “wise.” Wisdom isn’t the point tonight. Disrespect is. In this case, disrespect for the hollow law and failed order that so regularly disrespects the community.

In the wake of the destruction, other leftist publications such as Salon also got on the violence-against-police bandwagon, running a headline that reads, “Baltimore’s violent protesters are right: Smashing police cars is a legitimate political strategy,” which called non-violence a sometimes “futile tactic.”
The issue of police brutality, as in anywhere else in America or the world for that matter, is a problem in Baltimore. The city has paid out close to $5.7 million since 2011 to victims of police violence.
But the only logical response to riots, looting and destruction of private property is a more heavy-handed police crackdown, manifested in Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s recent decision to deploy the National Guard.
The Soros group knows this, and its social media sendouts illustrate how the foundation deliberately pours gas on the flames of civil unrest in order to “advance systemic change,” hoping to bring about their version of order out of chaos.
The Open Society Foundations, chaired and founded by Soros, was found to have contributed at least $33 million towards emboldening activists in Ferguson, Missouri, helping make the flawed “Hands up, don’t shoot” mantra ubiquitous.
Soros himself also admitted on CNN last year that a non-governmental organization he set up in Ukraine prior to its conflict with Russia “played an important part” in fomenting the events that destabilized the region.
While police violence on citizens of Baltimore is in no way justifiable, violent protests and attacks on police will merely serve to increase police forces and justify a militarized response.

Following their social media post, the Society had to “clarify” its position to a concerned Facebook user, claiming, “we’re not criticizing the call for calm nor are we condoning violence. We’re sharing this story since it draws attention back to police violence and brutality.”

"Evidence suggests that GMOs engineered to produce pesticides or withstand powerful chemical herbicides damage beneficial insect populations and create herbicide resistant super-weeds."

Why switching to 100% non-GMO is a remarkable achievement

In order to help you appreciate the difficulty of going 100% non-GMO, allow me to share some of what's involved in this. I'm qualified to share this because I'm intimately involved in the product sourcing, certification and laboratory testing of raw materials for products sold via the Natural News Store. We are certified organic and GMP-compliant (FDA rules). I'm also the lab science director of the Natural News Forensic Food Lab, which is in the process of achieving ISO 17025 accreditation.

Sourcing non-GMO ingredients requires a tremendous supply line effort involving non-GMO certification and documentation, complex raw materials acquisition logistics, and laboratory testing of raw materials to ensure they are indeed free of genetically engineered ingredients. None of this is easy to accomplish, and it all requires a concerted effort (and additional cost).

"Ridding the supply chain of genetically altered components is difficult," reports the New York Times. "They lurk in baking powder, cornstarch and a variety of ingredients used as preservatives, coloring agents and added vitamins, as well as in commodities like canola and soy oils, corn meal and sugar."

It's surprising to even see this printed in the New York Times, but it's also very welcomed. Almost anything made from corn -- maltodextrin, corn starch, corn syrup and even ascorbic acid -- is largely derived from genetically engineered corn.

That's why sourcing foods made without GMOs is no walk in the park. It adds complexity and cost to the sourcing of those foods, and at times it can cause supply line shortages. On the flip side, however, it also creates enormous profit opportunities for farmers who wish to grow non-GMO foods. The demand for non-GMO crops is now at an all-time high in America, and more and more farmers and learning that they can earn far more revenue by ditching biotech seeds and growing organic or non-GMO crops instead.

As Chipotle rises, McDonald's falls

The timing of this announcement by Chipotle is notable, as it coincides with McDonald's declaring another miserable quarter of falling revenues and plummeting market share. McDonald's is in desperation mode, scrambling to try to figure out why fewer and fewer people want to eat its factory-processed, genetically modified, artificially-flavored "fake foods." (Is that a Chicken McNugget, or a tiny scrubbing sponge for my toilet?)

The idea that consumers might be informed enough to make holistic choices about food ingredients, food supply lines, the ethical treatment of animals and even the ecological costs of certain ingredients (such as palm oil) seems to absolutely baffle McDonald's executives. They appear to be stuck in the 1950's, believing that food marketing is all about social engineering -- children's playgrounds and emotional marketing slogans -- rather than the food itself.

What McDonald's has yet to realize is that food awareness is skyrocketing everywhere, in large thanks to the very same independent media outlets that McDonald's can't control (like Natural News). With independent organizations like Natural News now owning and operating its own high-level food forensics laboratories, the scrutiny of food can no longer be controlled by corporations doing things like pressuring universities or the FDA to remain silent about food toxins and contaminants.

These attacks will of course be staged by the so-called "Monsanto Discredit Bureau" which has now been utterly exposed and revealed to be a group of quackpot criminals and fraudsters, such as the felony criminal doctor running the American Council on Science and Health, an astroturfing corporate front group that was behind the recent attempt to smear Doctor Oz.

Biotech smear operatives work for publications like Vox.com, Slate and the Washington Post, where defamation and character assassination attacks are routinely waged against humanity and all those who defend humanity against the mass poisoning by pesticide corporations (and GMO companies). Increasingly, no one believes the biotech smear campaigns anymore. That's why the science editors of the Washington Post and other mainstream media outlets are increasingly seen as being propaganda mouthpieces for Monsanto and Big Pharma rather than real journalists. "Journalism," as they say, is printing what the corporations and governments don't want printed. Everything else is just public relations.

What almost everyone is coming to realize is that nearly every single person defending the biotech industry is a paid corporate shill. Al Sharpton said Monday that he is going to visit Baltimore this week against the backdrop of violent riots and looting in the aftermath of the funeral of the late Freddie Gray.

“I have been asked by many in the Baltimore area since day one to get involved in the justice for Freddie Gray movement,” Sharpton said in a statement. “I will come to Baltimore this week at the invitation or Rev. Westley West, who has led vigils daily there, along with local clergy, and morning radio show host Larry Young who has headed our Baltimore chapter of NAN for the last decade.”

Sharpton wants to organize a two-day march next month to protest the death of Gray, who passed away from injuries after being seized by Baltimore police.

A second state has joined a growing effort to curb the militarization of local police departments by the federal government.

WND reported last month New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie signed into law a bill that bans local law-enforcement agencies from obtaining nightscopes, military assault rifles, grenade launchers and 14-ton Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicles through a federal program without local oversight.
The issue drew national attention when law-enforcement officers in Ferguson, Missouri, outfitted like an invading army, were deployed against violent protesters outraged by the shooting death of black teen Michael Brown by a white police officer.
Now, according to the Tenth Amendment Center, Montana’s governor has signed into law a bill that “would heavily diminish the effect of federal programs that militarize local police.”
The bill, HB330, bans state or local law enforcement from receiving significant classes of military equipment from the Pentagon’s “1033 Program.”
It was approved 46-1 in the state Senate and 79-20 in the House. Democrat Gov. Steve Bullock signed it.
The Tenth Amendment Center said the new law “will prohibit state or local law enforcement agencies from receiving drones that are armored, weaponized, or both; aircraft that are combat configured or combat coded; grenades or similar explosives and grenade launchers; silencers; and ‘militarized armored vehicles’ from federal military surplus programs.”

It also prevents law enforcement agencies in the state from buying such military equipment with federal grants.
“They could continue to purchase them, but would have to use state or local funds, and the agencies would have to give public notice within 14 days of a request for any such local purchase,” the center reported.
State Rep. Nicholas Schwaderer, a Republican, sponsored the plan and told the center: “This foundation sets a massive precedent in Montana and the country as to what kind of society we want to have. If you get to the point where you need a grenade launcher, we’ve got the National Guard.”
WND reported there are some 17,000 police departments nationwide equipped with $4.2 billion worth of equipment ranging from Blackhawk helicopters and battering rams to explosives, body armor and night vision.
It’s all under the federal government’s “1033″ program that supplies “surplus” military weapons to local officers, departments and agencies.
In New Jersey, S2364, by state Sen. Nia Gill, a Democrat, put local government officials directly between the federal government and local law enforcers. It was approved on votes of 36-0 and 70-0 in the legislative chambers.
The Tenth Amendment Center’s report at the time said it was the first state to directly address “the endless flow of military equipment to state and local police.”
The bill “wouldn’t put an end to the militarization of New Jersey law enforcement, but it does create a mechanism for local communities to stop the free-flowing tide of equipment.”
“Citizens now have the power and forum to pressure their elected officials at a city or county level to vote against such acquisitions or face the consequences come the next election. The new law also creates an environment of transparency that didn’t exist before,” the center said.
Center officials told WND more than half a dozen additional states also are considering similar or related language, including some that have significantly stronger language than New Jersey’s.
Tenth Amendment Center spokesman Michael Boldin told WND: “Our view is that the New Jersey law is significant because it represents the first salvo by states against an unfettered flow of military equipment from Washington, D.C., to state and local law enforcement. Other states are likely to take stronger steps forward in the near future. Good policing is about acting like peace officers, not a command and control military force. With more federal control over local police being a goal of some in the federal government, the New Jersey law giving final say over the receipt of such military equipment to local communities is an important victory.”
WND recently reported the American Civil Liberties Union was critical of the 1033 program.
Cheryl Chumley, author of “Police State USA: How Orwell’s Nightmare is Becoming our Reality,” said the information is “insightful and informative.”
“The ACLU is dead wrong on a number of issues – but on this, on the red flag raised on militarized police, the group is dead on correct,” she said.
She said the Obama administration has had little interest until recently in examining the process of distributing war weapons to police departments.
“He’s likely been quiet because of statements he made in mid-2008 calling for a civilian police force akin to the size and power of the nation’s military – and now he sees the fruits of that desire are not so appetizing after all.”


WND reported at the time that a copy of Obama’s Colorado Springs speech posted online apparently was edited to exclude Obama’s specific references to the new force.
Are members of the American public in danger because of the program?
Some would say yes. The Review-Journal in Las Vegas has reported a lawsuit by members of a family claiming civil rights violations by police.
The report explains police thought a neighbor of Michael and Linda Mitchell, and their adult son Anthony, had barricaded himself and a child in a nearby home.
SWAT team members demanded that the Mitchells leave their home so police could use it for a tactical “advantage” during the crisis. They refused and “police later knocked down Anthony Mitchell’s door with a metal ram and entered his house without either a warrant or his permission,” their claim alleges.
Mitchell was arrested, the report said.
WND also has reported on a trend in which cities and counties are returning the war weapons.
“Whenever this kind of armament is brought into a community, it should only be done with the knowledge and consent of the citizenry,” John Whitehead, a constitutional attorney based in Charlottesville, Virginia, said in a statement released to WND.
The report noted law enforcement agencies across the country have quietly returned more than 6,000 unwanted or unusable items to the Pentagon in the last 10 years, according to Mother Jones magazine.
The report noted that during the 1980s, SWAT raids numbered about 3,000 a year but now occur more than 80,000 times per year.
The results sometimes are horrendous. WND previously reported on an incident in rural Habersham County, Georgia, in which a SWAT team threw a flash-bang grenade into a home where officers believed a drug dealer was hiding out. The grenade landed in the crib of a 19-month-old boy and blew open his face. The toddler spent five weeks in the hospital following the May 28 incident which the local sheriff called “a mistake.”

(Top Conservative News) The State of Connecticut says that all citizens must register rifles and high capacity magazines, or be charged will a felony. As many as 100,000 people could face heavily armed police smashing down their doors and be charged with a felony.
The legislature of CT says that a registration is needed so they can know where the guns are. Yet at the same time, they are sending threatening letters to gun owners. So they already have records of who has purchased certain guns. The fact is, that the CT legislature fully intends to confiscate hundreds of thousands of firearms anyway. The registration process will simply make it easier to confiscate, because you acknowledge that you still own a firearm that the state already suspects that you own.
CT State Police Spokesman Lt. Vance says that state police would comply with an order from the state to conduct door to door gun confiscations.
Experts claim that as many as 350,000 people are in violation of the law, and over 100,000 of those people could face felony charges. That means over 3.6% of the entire adult population of Connecticut has been transformed into a felon by the new registration law. Roughly one in twenty Connecticut homes could have their doors smashed in by heavily armed law enforcement seeking to confiscate firearms.

Helicopters Just Flew To Closed Walmarts – Here’s What’s Taking Place Inside

Last week, 2,200 Walmart employees all over the U.S. were laid off and given just a few hours notice as their stores were shut down for unknown reasons.

Conspiracy theorists soon linked the closings to the government, suggesting that they were shut down so the stores could be used for military training operations.

Now, residents of Big Spring, Texas, where one of the closed Walmart stores is located, have reported that they have seen helicopters and other military vehicles coming into their town.

“I saw a train carrying all sorts of military equipment heading into Big Spring,” said one resident, according to Infowars. “There were also about 14 helicopters flying over the [Big Spring McMahon-Wrinkle] Airport last night and a tank getting driven through that open field [near the airport]. It’s scary seeing that and not knowing what in the world is going on.”

The freedom loving Veterans are a very important factor in this process–that’s why they’re a threat to the new tyrannical government.  They’re in the front lines of this new war.

• ³⁵ And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” ³⁶ Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it,and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. ³⁷ For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.” ³⁸ So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.” (Luke 22:35-38)

Jesus Christ knew we would need to be armed with weapons: not only with the Word (Jesus Christ) but in this passage, some are interpreting it as an actual physical weapon because you have to buy one.  

In the spirit realm the sword is symbolic for the Sword of the Spirit.  Take it to the Lord, in prayer, and decide if you should or should not be physically armed for self-defense purposes.

With continuing aftershocks and avalanches, many thousands of people are now homeless from the devastation in Nepal.

Reports are surfacing that the death toll from Nepal’s deadly earthquake has touched 5,057 and could go up to 10,000 displacing as many as 500,000, injuring 10,000.

“The death toll in the devastating Nepal earthquake has crossed the 5,000 mark with latest figures putting the toll at 5,057.  The United Nations has said that over 8 million people – more than a quarter of the country’s population – have been affected by the quake. Tents have sprung up with multitudes still in the same clothing they wore when the earthquake struck.

Water supply is in dire need, as well as food, clothing and durable shelter from the cold nights.

“Many people use plastic sheets and cardboards to sleep on. Blankets have become a much sought after luxury, forcing the government to send out appeals to the international community to send more aid — and fast.”

“The home ministry said Kathmandu and Sindhupalchowk districts, among the worst hit, have reported 1,039 and 1,176 deaths respectively.

Rescuers, including from India, are engaged in massive operations in Kathmandu and other places. Hospitals are overwhelmed and treating many of the wounded in the open due to lack of space.”

“Power outages continued, crippling many ATMs. There are few vehicles on Kathmandu’s streets. Food and other essential items are in short supply — sparking anger and disaffection with the pace of relief work.” (source:  firstpost.com)

The District of Gorka, close to the epicenter, experienced almost total destruction.

“Rebecca McAteer, a US doctor who was one of the first to arrive in the district of Gorkha close to the epicentre, told Associated Press that 90% of houses there were “just flattened”.

She said most residents were older men and women and children, as the younger men had left to find work elsewhere.

Many have also lost livestock and have little food.

But helicopters are now air-dropping tents, dry food and medicine – though they are yet to reach many isolated communities.

The situation is ripe for unscrupulous false organizations.

Check within your local areas to see if anyone is already in progress to collect food, clothing, or cooking eating utensils, etc.

We the people of the United States are very angry at the culpability of
the United States Forces in indirectly causing this Earth Quake in Nepal.

Amy those that caused these horrible Earth Quakes be damned to the
 Eternal Fire Forever.
