DEATH OF COMMON SENSE! WAS MURDERED BY
"POLITICALLY CORRECT!"
Today, we mourn the passing of an old friend by the name of
Common Sense.
Common Sense lived a long life, but died from heart failure
entering the edge of the Millennium. No one really knows how old he actually
was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He
selflessly devoted his life to service in schools, hospitals, homes, factories,
offices, churches, military, courts, farms, neighborhoods, and even local and
national government helping folks get their jobs done without fanfare and
ridiculous foolishness. In science, engineering, and business, the results were
supposed to be practical and dedicated to truth and what worked, not what was
"politically correct" as a substitute for truth and sound
results.
For decades, petty rules, silly laws and frivolous lawsuits
held no power over Common sense. He was credited with cultivating such valued
lessons as to know when to come in from the rain, the early bird gets the worm,
the survival of man was more important than a stray bug living in a
neighborhood or farm where it had not been invited to live in, and life is not
always fair.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies
(don't spend more than you earn, don't tax people or businesses more than they
can afford and still live healthy existences), reliable parenting strategies
(the adults are in charge, not the kids), and it's okay in many situations to
come in second by honorable means rather than first by cheating means.
A veteran of the Industrial Revolution, the Great
Depression, and Technological Revolution. Common Sense survived cultural and
educational trends including feminism, body piercing, whole language and new
math. Common Sense survived in the nation regardless if Democrats or
Republicans won elections.
PONTIUS PILATE ASKED JESUS CHRIST, "WHAT IS
TRUTH?" A GOOD, SOUND ANSWER FOR US WOULD BE COMMON SENSE! WHEN IT IS
CHECKED OUT AND WHAT IS FOUND IS TRUE, NOT LIES, THEN COMMON SENSE TELLS US
WHAT THE TRUTH IS. THEREFORE, COMMON SENSE IS IN REALITY WHAT THE TRUTH IS WE
SHOULD LISTEN TO AND FOLLOW. "POLITICALLY CORRECT" ARE THE LIES
INVENTED TO CONTROL US FROM THINKING SOUNDLY. COMMON SENSE IS THE TRUTH
INTENDED TO MAKE US SOUND IN THINKING, AND THE FREEDOM TO BE SOUND IN MIND
WHICH MAKES US FREE AS MEN AND WOMEN IN SOCIETY.
But the health of Common Sense rapidly declined when he
became infected with the "if-it-only-helps-one-person-it's-worth-it"
virus. Also, "the end justifies any amount of lies and calling it
politically correct" as the new standard for federal law and policy."
In recent decades, his waning strength proved no match for the ravages of
overbearing federal legislation and federally decreed policies. The problem was
most people had stopped backing Common Sense in America.
He watched in pain as good people became ruled by
self-seeking lawyers, lawyer politicians, and "politically correct'
enlightened auditors. His health rapidly deteriorated when schools endlessly
implemented zero tolerance policies; it was now illegal to have prayer and the
Bible in the schools as the crime rate rapidly rose in America with the end of
moral values in the nation; when reports about outlawing human expressions of
the heart were heard of such as six year old boys charged with sexual
harassment for kissing a classmate; when a teen was suspended for taking a swig
of mouthwash after lunch; when a teacher was fired for reprimanding an unruly
student; when a teacher was fired for having left a copy of her Bible on her
desk. It declined and got even worse when schools had to get parental consent
to administer aspirin but couldn't inform the parent when a female student is
pregnant or wants an abortion.
Finally, Common Sense lost his will to live as the Ten
Commandments became contraband, churches became federally regulated and
controlled in teachings by federal tax-exempt regulations making Wash., D.C.
instead of Jesus Christ the head of American churches, criminals received
better treatment than victims, and federal judges believing the American people
had no longer legal rights to private lives stuck their noses in everything
from Boy Scouts to professional sports. The Common Sense of the American
Declaration of Independence of 1776 said the legal definition of a tyrannical
government was when it claimed it had the legal right and authority to
"legislate for us in all cases whatever" meaning there were no legal
limitations to what laws and policies the government could and would pass.
Wash., D.C. threw out this Common Sense from 1776 and substituted the government
could pass any laws and policies it wanted even if dreamed up by hell itself
for all the people in America.
As the end neared, Common Sense drifted in and out of logic
but was kept informed of developments, regarding questionable regulations for
asbestos, low-flow toilets, smart guns, the nurturing of Prohibition Laws and
mandatory air bags.
Finally, when told that the homeowners association
restricted exterior furniture only to that which enhanced property values, when
outside sources told you how you were allowed to live your lives within your
own homes, Common Sense breathed his last. He was murdered by "Politically
Correct" whose father was Wash., D.C.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and
Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son Reason.
His three stepbrothers survive him: Federally Declared Rights instead of
God-given Rights, Federally Declared Tolerance for all wrongs in society, and
Federally created Whiner who whines over any effort to bring back Common
Sense from the grave and resurrect him back to life in America.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized that
Common Sense was gone after "Politically Correct" Wash., D.C. was
finally able to murder him in America.
