That's what NK launched into space in February. It wasn't just a test satellite. It's small but potent and contains 5 tactical orbit-to-surface nukes, each with a 500 kiloton payload.

This is why NK has adopted a totally warlike rhetoric. They may be outgunned and outnumbered but they have unlimited firing range. Since the DPRK announced to international space orgs that they would have a Pacific splashdown of the main booster, and it fell, I have a hard time believing that there is "still a booster" out there. But, oh well... Let's just see how this whole thing plays out.

WASHINGTON – U.S. officials quietly are expressing concern that North Korea could use its "space launch vehicle" to explode a high-altitude nuclear device over the United States, creating an electromagnetic pulse that would destroy major portions of the U.S. electrical grid system as well as the nation's critical infrastructures.
The concern is so great that U.S. officials who watch North Korea closely are continually monitoring the status of the North Korean "space launch vehicle," whose status could suggest a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the United States.
They are aware of the three-stage missile North Korea launched last December that also orbited a "package," which experts say could be a test to orbit a nuclear weapon that then would be deorbited on command anywhere over the U.S. and exploded at a high altitude, creating an EMP effect.
This concern is in addition to North Korea's latest threat to strike targets in Hawaii and the continental U.S., as well as possible attacks against U.S. bases in South Korea and Japan.
The 28-year-old North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, has signed an order for North Korea's strategic rocket forces to be on standby to fire at U.S. targets.
The signing was against a photo backdrop following an emergency meeting of his senior military leaders showing large maps that were labeled "U.S. mainland strike plan, specifically at Hawaii, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Austin, Texas."
One WND reader who traced the targeting to Texas said that it really was aimed at the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The latest North Korean threats occurred after the U.S. sent two B-2 stealth bombers to strike targets with inert bombs during joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises, which Kim considered a major provocation.
"He finally signed the plan on technical preparations of strategic rockets, ordering them to be on standby to fire so that they may strike any time the U.S. mainland, its military bases in the operational theaters in the Pacific, including Hawaii and Guam, and those in South Korea," according to a statement by the North Korean news agency, KCNA.
The statement added that the B-2 flights showed Washington's "hostile" intent, and the "reckless" act had gone "beyond the phase of threat and blackmail."
In response, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel condemned North Korea's actions which to date have included dissolving the 1953 armistice between North and South Korea, severing the military hotline with South Korea and putting its artillery forces on high alert and threatening, once again, nuclear strikes against the U.S.

In recent weeks, North Korea also had released three videos showing a nuclear strike on the U.S.
"We've made very clear that we have the capability and willingness to protect our interests and our allies in the region," according to deputy White House press secretary Josh Earnest. He said that the U.S. military exercises with South Korea should offer "pretty clear evidence" that the U.S. can defend its interests and those of its allies in the region.
Sources say that sending the B-2s was in response to the recent North Korean threats to send a message – a message which Russia and China called a "provocative act."
Russia and China have asked the U.S. to continue talking to North Korea and not to take military action against North Korea.
In response to North Korea's initial bellicose rhetoric, Hagel ordered the deployment of additional Aegis anti-missile systems for the U.S. West Coast. They originally were destined for Europe. And a second anti-ballistic missile radar is to be installed in Japan.
However, the Aegis anti-missile systems won't be operational until 2017, although there are some systems already deployed along the West Coast.
North Korea's continuing threats of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against U.S. targets suggest to U.S. officials that its military is confident in the capability of its missiles and that its recent nuclear testing for miniaturization of a warhead to be placed on a missile similarly was successful.
These officials are looking at the prospect that upon launch of the missile and a potential nuclear payload, it would take a polar path, clearly out of range of U.S. Aegis anti-missile systems.
The fact that U.S.military officials are expressing quiet but increasing concern that North Korea could launch an EMP attack has raised alarms over the preservation of the U.S. national grid and such critical infrastructures as communications, energy, food and water delivery and space systems.
This concern recently has been reinforced by a little-publicized study by the U.S. Army War College that said a nuclear detonation at altitude above a U.S. city could wipe out the electrical grid for hundreds, possibly thousands of miles around.
The impact would be catastrophic.
"Preparing for months without a commercial source of clean water (city water pressure is often dependent on electric pumping to storage towers) and stoppage of sewage treatment facilities will require net methods of survival particularly in populated areas," the military study said.
The May 2011 study, titled, "In the Dark: Military Planning for a Catastrophic Critical Infrastructure Event," concluded that there is "very little" in the way of backup capability to the electric grid upon which the communications infrastructure is vitally dependent.
Analysts say that it is apparent that Kim has ignored any advice from its closest friend, China, to stop any further missile or nuclear testing suggesting, as one official described Kim, as a "loose cannon."
Kim also has been defiant of any United Nations Security Council resolutions similarly condemning the recent missile and nuclear tests. China had joined in approving those resolutions.
"The time has come to settle accounts with the U.S.," the KCNA agency declared.
"The Obama administration is either clueless or deceiving the American people with false assurances that North Korea's recent threats to destroy the United States are merely `empty rhetoric' because they allegedly `lack the capability,'" one former U.S. official told WND.
Some regional analysts, however, believe that Kim is seeking to leverage the U.S. for further concessions while attempting to win favor with his own military to show how tough he can be.
These analysts say that until now Kim has not had the support from the military that his father, Kim Jong-Il, had.
His war-like tone may be indicative of attempts to solidify military support within his country.
At the moment, experts are looking at efforts for preparations at known long-range missile launch sites.
Those signs may be appearing.
"North Korea's launch sites to fire off mid- and long-range missiles have recently shown increased movement of vehicles and forces," according to one South Korean official who described the activity at the sites as "brisk."
"We are closely watching possibilities of missile launches," the official said.
In this connection, officials have seen several vehicles moving to the Tongchang-ri missile site on the western coast, in what appeared to them to be preparations for testing its long-range missiles.
Some observers, however, believe the latest threats of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the U.S. remain for now just domestic posturing and efforts to establish military credentials on Kim's part to show that he is more forceful than his father.
In other efforts to determine warnings and indications of an attack, analysts are looking for major troop movements, although none has been detected to date.
Late last week, a North Korean Mig-21 fighter jet flew near South Korea's front line airspace, known as the Tactical Action Line,but returned to base, according to a South Korean military official. In response, the South Koreans scrambled a KF-16 fighter.
The TAL is the point between 20 and 50 kilometers north of South Korean airspace that will prompt the South Korea to scramble its fighter jets.
In addition, border crossings between North and South Korea remain open, for now.

They Are Gearing Up For Something Big–His Exact Words Were, `They Are Shipping Some Serious S*** Over There" –Barksdale AFB

I just spoke with a close associate who has been working for the last three years at Barksdale AFB, on various construction projects. Likely, you will not remember that I wrote you about 6 weeks ago to ask for prayers for people in that area. This man is just a guy...a construction worker...been there all his life...salt of the earth kind of guy. In his words..."I am just a working man...doing the best I can do."

To let you know, I have cautioned him, and literally begged him to leave that area...but he wants to hang on for as long as he can, so that he can tell people what he is seeing, and hearing...but it may be that he is finally rattled enough to pick up stakes and get out of there now. I am praying that he gets out soon.

Tonight, he called to let me know that the security and activity at Barksdale has been stepped up in his words, "by 300%".

I asked as many questions as I felt that I could and took notes so that I could simply use his quotes to accurately report what he has stated.

"We were working on a scheduled job in the munitions dump area...building new blast walls, when AF personnel came in and told us we had to leave right now. We asked if were being given a "work stoppage order." They replied "Get out now." and escorted us out. "More like they rushed us out."

On April 1, AF Chief of Staff and a bunch of other DoD dignitaries flew in to Barksdale. Those coming on the base usually have a sidearm and maybe a rifle, but since the 1st, "dignitaries are also wearing flak jackets."

"They are gearing up for something big."

"They are bringing in serious junk."

"Moving in warheads...I was working in an area where cruise missiles are brought in, put together, armed, and shipped out."

His exact words were, "They are shipping some serious s*** over there."

(Here I tried to ascertain whether these were going on ships or planes.)

He replied that "they are going everywhere." He also stated that "they dropped a bunch dummy bombs on some islands off the coast of North Korea"..(I just read a confirmation of that from an intelligence newsletter, and confirmed by WND an hour ago.)

I asked him if Chinese officers were still on base. He replied that he had not been working in the area in which he first saw them, for the last three weeks, but he did say this..."The Chinese and the Russians are here...let me put it this way...everybody in the UN plus a few more are in here. (US)"

He heard and directly quoted one officer referring to the testing of anti-ballistic missile defense system, "We are going to see a real test, now." He then said that he heard "Intelligence says there will be an attack on American soil."

He then stated that these defense missile systems were " being shipped to several bases."

Now he is a construction worker, and has been on the base which has contracted the company he works for, with over 40 different jobs. He said that in those three years, he has never seen it this way. His overwhelming impression is that our forces are mostly scattered, a huge number of foreign military personnel are in the US, many foreign officers have been at Barksdale for about 6 weeks that he knows of, and that "anything can happen," and "it looks like it will happen real quick."

I'll translate that last statement in case you don't speak "Southern"...

What he meant by that is that whatever is actually going on, North Korea notwithstanding, something is about to happen, it is about to happen soon, and there is no way we will ever be able to know the truth about it, who did what, when, where and why, but that whatever it is, we are sitting ducks for anything."

He said, "You know, when I was in school, there was always somebody pushing for a fight, trying to start a fight, or get a fight stirred up. That is what this reminds me of...when I was in school...and somebody always wanted to see a fight."

He then asked for prayers. So I am asking you to join in prayers for him...for all of them...

Iraq’s oil terminal at Fao was destroyed during the Iran/Iraq War, crippling Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC) production at North Rumaila. Iraq wanted to lease the islands of Warbah and Bubiyan from Kuwait to serve as deep sea ports that could replace Fao. The Kuwaitis refused. In 1981 the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) bought Sante Fe Drilling Corporation and its high-tech engineering subsidiary Braun. Sante Fe was a known CIA front. Braun had devised a new slant drilling technique. Throughout the 1980’s KOC used this technology to drill horizontally into the Rumaila oilfield, 90% of which fell within Iraqi territory. [1] The Iraqis said Kuwait stole $10 billion worth of crude oil. After the Gulf War, Sante Fe continued to steal Iraqi oil. In April 1993 Kenneth Beaty, head of exploration for Sante Fe, was arrested by the Iraqi government when he was found inside Iraq checking an oil well at Rumaila. He was sentenced to eight years at Abu Ghraib prison on trespassing charges. [2] Estimates of Iraqi crude reserves continue to climb. Just months before Mashat made this claim, a nephew of Kuwaiti emir Sheik Jaber Ahmed al-Sabah was arrested in France for possession of heroin. Part of the CIA/al-Sabah destabilization effort against Iraq involved driving world oil prices lower. At a May 1990 Arab Summit in Baghdad, Saddam Hussein said that for every $1 drop in the price of a barrel of oil Iraq was losing $1 billion/year. He called Kuwaiti overproduction of crude an “act of war”. Two months later he lodged a formal complaint with the Arab League calling Kuwait and UAE “imperialist agents” in the Gulf. King Hussein of Jordan concurred. In July 1990 OPEC held a meeting of oil ministers in Vienna where it was agreed that each member nation would lower production to avert further declines in an already weak oil market. A day after the meeting Kuwait announced that it had changed its mind and would increase production. KOC flooded an already oversupplied market with $13.25/barrel Kuwaiti Export crude. The UAE followed suit. Within three months Iraqi crude went from $28/barrel to $11, resulting in a loss of $14 billion in oil revenues. Iraq’s economy is oil-dependent. In 1988 oil provided 99.1% of Iraq’s hard currency. [7] Reeling under mountains of Iranian War debt, Iraq was now starved of the desperately needed foreign exchange required to service this debt and rebuild its shattered economy. Iraqi Foreign Minister Tariq Aziz penned a letter to the Secretary General of the League of Arab States complaining that Kuwait had, “implemented a plot to escalate the pace of the gradual, systematic advance toward Iraqi territory. The Kuwaiti government set up military installations, police posts, oil installations and farms on Iraqi territory”. But Aziz knew that a more powerful force stood squarely behind Kuwait’s audacious moves, stating, “We are sure that some Arab states are involved in a conspiracy against us. And we want you to know that our country will not kneel and our women will not become prostitutes and our children will not be barred from food. It is inconceivable that a regime such as that in Kuwait could risk engaging in a conspiracy of such a magnitude against a large, strong country such as Iraq if it were not being supported by a great power, and that power is the United States of America”. “It is important to take advantage of the deteriorating economic situation in Iraq in order to put pressure on Iraq to delineate border situation. And we will help automate functions of the State Security Department and facilitate the exchange of information with Syria and Iran.” [6] While Iraq’s greatest oilfield was being partitioned by the Four Horsemen and their Kuwaiti surrogates, the al-Sabah fiefdom was driving the price of oil into the ground, while demanding full repayment of the Iraq “grants”. In July 1990, as American warships conducted exercises in the Persian Gulf, Iraqi President Hussein met in Baghdad with US Ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie. Saddam registered his anger towards Kuwait’s economic warfare against Iraq. He told Glaspie he was considering taking military action against Kuwait to drive them out of the Rumaila oilfield. Glaspie said nothing to discourage Saddam, instead telling him, “We have no position regarding Arab/Arab conflicts”. On July 31 Assistant Secretary of State John Kelly gave his implicit blessing to Saddam’s plans saying, “We have no defense treaty relationship with any Gulf country. That is clear…we have historically avoided taking a position on border disputes”. Glaspie and Kelly were both lying and giving Saddam the green light to attack Kuwait. A few days later Iraqi Revolutionary Guards routed the Kuwaiti’s from Rumaila. Both a letter penned by President Bush to Saddam on July 28 and State Department instructions to Glaspie were withheld from a Senate committee investigating Glaspie’s and Kelly’s odd responses to Iraqi threats. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said the documents were withheld to “permit Presidents and foreign leaders to talk freely”. Watch them All Die It wasn’t the first time a US President allowed bloodshed to provide a pretext for economically beneficial war, nor would it be the last. Bush’s “no response” to Saddam was reminiscent of the actions of FDR which led to the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor and US entry into WWII. A 1940 Gallup poll showed 83% of Americans were against US involvement in the war. The London banker crowd wanted US intervention to help cement the US/Britain “special relationship”, which serves as the neo-colonial paradigm of the day. FDR was himself a Wall Street insider. He only launched his populist New Deal to put a lid on revolutionary public anger caused by the Crash of 1929. His uncle Frederic Delano was a member of the first Federal Reserve Board. The 33rd Degree Mason and CFR insider needed a pretext to provide US troops for the defense of European monarchs, to which every Mason pledges his allegiance, wittingly or not. CFR started the ball rolling by encouraging FDR to send aid to China and to squeeze Japanese trade via naval blockades. FDR ordered the Pacific Fleet moved to vulnerable Pearl Harbor despite numerous intelligence reports of looming Japanese aggression and over the objections of Admiral James Richardson. In 1932 and 1938 the Navy conducted exercises in the presence of Japanese military attachés, simulating the destruction of the Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor. Six Japanese aircraft carriers disappeared from radar after seen sailing towards the US. US Army Chief of Staff George Marshall sent an ambiguous message to Pearl Harbor military commanders on November 27, 1941 that read, “Hostile action possible at any moment. If hostilities cannot be avoided the US desires that Japan commit the first overt act.” [8] Warnings came from FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, US Ambassador to Japan Joseph Grew, Brigadier General Elliot Thorpe in Java, and British and Dutch intelligence. On December 6th, US intelligence told Roosevelt that the Japanese carriers were 400 miles from Hawaii. Still, Roosevelt left most of the Pacific Fleet in port. On the night of December 6th, George Marshall and Navy Secretary Frank Knox huddled at the White House with FDR. Both later testified that they “did not recall their whereabouts”. While battleships and destroyers remained at Pearl Harbor, the more strategic aircraft carriers were moved. Not one was in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. FDR knew air power was the key to defeating Japan. The “surprise” Japanese attack went forward and 2,400 Americans paid for the FDR deception with their lives. Another 1,200 were injured. The next day FDR addressed the nation and called for a declaration of war. Pearl Harbor ended US isolationism once and for all. FDR stated his position in a trans-Atlantic telephone conversation with British Prime Minister and fellow 33rd Degree Freemason Winston Churchill, stating, “A Japanese attack on us, which would result in war…would certainly fulfill two of the most important requirements of our policy…What I don’t know, can’t hurt me”. [9] As Professor Stuart Crane put it, “If you look back at every war in Europe you will see that they always ended up with the establishment of a balance of power. With every reshuffling there was a balance of power in a new grouping around the House of Rothschild in England, France or Austria. They grouped nations so that if any King got out of line, a war would break out and the war would be decided by which way the financing went. Researching the debt positions of warring nations will usually indicate who was being punished.” In 1939, North Dakota Senator Gerald Nye drew the nation’s attention to a document titled The Next War, which stated, “To persuade her (America) to take part will be much more difficult. It will need a definite threat to America…The position will be naturally eased if Japan were involved…the old goddess of democracy routine”. FDR’s son-in-law Curtis Dall said of the powers looming behind FDR, “For a long time I felt that he…developed many thoughts and ideas that were his own to benefit this country. But he didn’t. Most of his thoughts were carefully manufactured for him by the Council on Foreign Relations-One World Money group.” [10] As Professor Stuart Crane put it, “If you look back at every war in Europe you will see that they always ended up with the establishment of a balance of power. Shortly after Iraq attacked Kuwait Jordan’s King Hussein joined with Algerian President Chadli Benjladid to organize an Arab League Summit in Algiers to try and head off a full-scale war. Saddam agreed to pull his troops from Kuwait while the summit proceeded. But Egypt, with backing from the US and Britain, convinced 14 of the 21 foreign ministers in attendance to denounce Iraq. The peace effort fell apart. As Predicted, James Holmes Was Taking Violence-Linked Antidepressant Drugs

It likely comes as no surprise to those who have been following the disturbing trend of mass shooters over the years, but a new Los Angeles Times report has confirmed that Holmes had been taking the prescription psychotropic drugs Zoloft and Clonazepam (Klonopin) — one of which is the same drug that the Colombine Eric Harris was on.

For months now the alternative news media has been predicting that Holmes was most certainly on antidepressant drugs as we know 90% of school shootings have links to psych meds, but until now it has only been announced that certain prescription medication was seized (and listed as Vicodin by some sources). Ultimately, we received a large degree of flak and downright hate for predicting that Holmes was on these drugs like to aggression and suicide, but it’s simply following a very blatant pattern.

As the LA Times reports, the following prescription medication was found:
“…prescription medication for sertraline, a generic version of Zoloft used to treat depression, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder; and Clonazepam, usually prescribed to treat anxiety and panic attacks”
In my article from when the incident happened, I immediately wrote a piece about how Holmes was most definitely on hardcore pharmaceuticals based on previous trends. At the time, it was being reported that he was taking Vicodin, but there was no doubt in my mind that he was on at least one antidepressant-type drug. In his own words, Teicher said that the public was being treated like ”guinea pigs” in a mass experiment.

And the Klonopin Holmes was on is even more dangerous, and as Paul Joseph Watson details, has been called the world’s “deadliest drug” by certain publications. It has been linked to substantial aggressive and violent behavior, and that’s just the beginning.

People and websites like Mike Adams of NaturalNews, Alex Jones & crew of Infowars, World Net Daily, Lew Rockwell, and myself have all done the research and held their ground on the issue even amid the ‘political correct’ assault over the issue in which people actually decided to attack us over publishing the trends. And now, these websites are enjoying record traffic and credit as they reveal their predictions were 100% accurate.

Meanwhile, Big Pharma continues to pump these drugs out and promote them for young children. Yet no one blames Big Pharma for providing a potential ‘tipping point’ for these deranged individuals.

Bitcoin, the virtual currency, has been going crazy lately, a huge surge in value apparently triggered by the Cyprus crisis and collapse in trust of banks. It's been in the news a lot in past week or two so I've been reading all about it. One weird thing about it is that nobody seems to know who actually started the thing, just that it was an anonymous person "somewhere" who used "Satoshi Nakamoto" as a pseudonym. Who was (is) he? The unknown "genius" who invented anonymous money transactions has himself remained truly anonymous. However, we can read the paper he wrote which started it all.
