Traitors (46 of them)Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. , and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo. Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Yeah, I know how that feels.. lol!
I have felt tricked, manipulated, betrayed and played. At times I have felt resentful, but as for now, mostly I feel loved, and I feel grateful. I also feel bad though that I have not done more (this past year especially) to reach out to others and share all that I have learned. However, one thing I have learned very well is not to beat myself up over the past. The time to live (in) is NOW. I have much to learn still, but then again, not much more remains that making misguided decisions and stumbling about in the dark can teach me. :)
P.S. I love your writing, and from what I have heard, your music as well!!

May your noses always be cold and wet.
You ever get the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you wind up being the woman in the dunes? I had recently realized that I was being played and from a great many angles, like 3 dimensional chess. Since I'm smart but... really a Pollyanna, because of my trusting dog nature and this terrible loyalty thing I can't shake. Once I discovered, irrefutably, that I was being played, worked, bounced from polar opposite states of “Nah, that's impossible.” to “holy #####!” I've been through one day after another of serenity getting buggered, by more darkness than you can shake a stick at; not that you would be able to see the stick in all that darkness. You might be aware that you were shaking a stick but as for any effect it might have... hmmm, that's a matter of debate;. Who's debating? Who are you debating with? Given that I don't debate, I only state... there's no real argument going on, things being what they are in any case. These are stranger times than I was expecting. Actually I was expecting much stranger times. It's simply that these are a different kind of strange than I was anticipating. Isn't that how it goes though? You expect strange and you get weird.
The worst part about it all is that I can't talk about it and that will certainly come off as either strange, or weird, depending on which you're disposed toward. It will look like one or the other, given that I usually talk about everything in respect of full disclosure. The thing is that I'm sure but I'm not sure. Even though I'm 99% sure, I'm 1% uncertain. This doesn't help worth a damn but it speaks to my state of mind. One thing I am 100% sure of is that it all has to do with affecting my state of mind. It's not likely to again because... once aware, the genie does not go back into the bottle.
The whole world is going to change now. It will change this week or it will change next week. I don't think it goes much further than that ...unless they are calculating the usual October thing. They usually have an extended scenario, locked in with varying possibilities, as they troubleshoot the likely fallout.
I watching that corrupt hack John Kerry yesterday at the Senate hearings and I noticed, sitting behind him, this extraordinarily corrupt looking woman. The arrogance and imperious disdain on here features was palpable. She looked depraved in the way that only a lifetime of depravity will confer on a person. I wondered who she was. In the process of watching this dog and pony show, where Senate leaders were conveying virtual blowjobs on those being inquired of, one them, who had been playing poker on his cellphone the whole time (John McCain) mentioned how delighted they were to have the wife of John Kerry back in the flotsam/jetsam tank. It turned out to be her.
This is Origami and I do want to stay metaphysical so let's keep that in mind as we go. Looking at John Kerry's face was an experience.

The Satanic aspect of his persona was near hypnotic. If you play poker and... I have, enjoyably so, you know what a 'tell' is. Kerry was Tell City. The tics and giveaways were many. He was lying out of his #####, which I am confident happened to be on his neck at the time. He and his smug and 'in on it', privileged associates, on both ends of the charade, were engaged in a hideous mockery of all that they were put into power to defend against.
What is it that these twisted fiends want? What makes them think (how can they be so confident?) that they will get away with these massive violations? The forces arrayed against them are not inconsiderable. One answer is that the power of Israeli blackmail and dirty money leverage is so strong that all of these men and women are compelled to go along with it. On the other hand, Israel will definitely get hit, as well they should. There’s a real puzzle here. There's a real confidence on both sides. The bad guys, which are, at this moment, Israel and her bitch, America (England and France would be on this list but they're a tad stymied at the moment) seem to think they can do whatever they please. They're talking about a sixty day window of freedom to bomb at will with... with the option of another 30 days. It's ridiculous but... remember, 'no boots on the ground', 'no boots on the ground' as if that were to matter at all, given this enormous opportunity to carpet bomb Syria. What happened to the limited strikes over no more than several days? This was all a set up to go to a completely compromised, bought and sold congress, under the pretense of adhering to the letter of the law and coming away with far more than they would have had before.
Meanwhile, the confidence factor with the Syrian government, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia (don't forget China) is also very high. Someone has to be wrong in their presumptions. I can only pray and hope that it is the Satanic nation of Israel and their crack whore police state, bitch- America that's delusional about their optimism and capacity. I'm confident that both the United States and Israel are going down. Given that, it makes sense that sooner or later they will make the big mistake. Hubris is a guaranteed fall, quite often a spectacular fall and those fateful words of Nietzsche are indisputably true, “those whom the God's will destroy, they first drive mad.” We are seeing that. It's going on before our eyes.
I have to stick with what I know about the long term intentions of the cosmos and especially, especially given the fact that we are in The Apocalypse. It makes sense then, everything that's happening makes sense in light of The Apocalypse. It makes sense that these evil men and women would be moving machine like from one terrible act of mass murder to another, without much in the way of actual opposition. Sure, people everywhere are waking up but... they just shift their tactics and do whatever they want anyway. It has to be that they are being led into a trap. Still, it looks overpowering, the whole spectacle. All I can take away from this is that it is supposed to look that way, to deceive us and make us feel helpless. We're not helpless and definitely, if the effort has to be made to make up feel helpless then, we are not helpless.
I'm guessing there is a unity of the mind that they are most concerned about. There is this mysterious thing that happens when enough of the population has awakened to a degree and are informed about what they are awakened to, to a significant degree. This is something that happened when a whole lot of protestors got together in an attempt to levitate the Pentagon. The authorities responded as if there might be something to it.
Never has that rabid police dog, America, been so broke and so over extended. Never has the rest of the world been so united in their opposition to this Israeli controlled juggernaut of outrage and abuse against the rest of the world. There is no way that either of these demonic entities can prevail against the rest of the world. No one ever has taken over the whole world, ever. Something happens at a certain point, as it did to Alexander, as it did to Rome, as it did and will to anyone and everyone who attempts it. So... it's very likely that this is what we are looking at now.
Can it be that they are simply so mad and crazed by the appearance of their own omnipotence that they believe what their perverted imaginations tell them? Can it be that they are no different than any deranged mentality that is hearing duplicitous voices, urging them and convincing them, urging them on and convincing them they can? It seems more and more likely. As usual, you follow the money. You look at the strategic situation that Syria occupies, the concerns and plans of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey and how that affects the movement of oil and the desired movement of oil in terms of desired profits and in terms of the needs and long range plans of Russia and China. It's all right there and you can find it if you look and study the big board. Into the mix comes Genie Oil, which involves drilling for resources on stolen land and which is a part of the holdings of the Satanic Lord (snicker) Rothschild, Rupert Murdoch and Dick Cheney. What it comes down to is the control of resources on the big board game of international profit. It also then comes around to land theft and consonant with this, are the actions of The International Bank of Settlements and the IMF, as well as the usual Central Banking scum, who create debt in order to steal resources and compromise the political spectrum in all those countries who have things they want. It also ties in with Israel's desire to seize vast amounts of land that they have no right to. They have no right to ANY of the lands they presently occupy and it is coming out about the fact that they have no genetic tie to those lands and that they Palestinians do. It's coming out that the Palestinians are Semitic and they are not. This is why they are so busy seeking to expunge all Palestinian history and their intent is to murder all of them and most everyone else, if they get their way.
They know they are on a time line. They know what Mr. Apocalypse is up to. They know that all the lies they have woven over the decades are unraveling. They know what Mr. Apocalypse is up to and they are trying to head him off at the pass. What they don't get it that Mr. Apocalypse has got them surrounded. This they do not know because they are not allowed to know it. They are now being driven into the necessary actions that will convict them as the criminals they are and bring them to judgment. For a brief moment, Obama and his banker bosses met the world and the world punched Obama in the mouth.
Through our collective efforts, with regard to Syria, average people have made every elitist banker blink and these gangsters have temporarily backed up.
However, one's work is never done, because what do military historians advise generals to do following a big victory?

---------------------------- They advise them to follow up on that victory and smash their enemy. This is precisely what humanity needs to do with regard to the recent positive events involving Obama’s plans to attack Syria. We Have Bought About Two Months Of Time Both my insider sources and some of my prominent colleagues in the alternative media are now reporting that Obama may have to wait as long as eight weeks, or more, to launch a decisive military strike against Syria. To our foreign friends and our fellow countrymen, I say take a bow as we have won some breathing room, but we must press on. Syrian Officials Waste No Time Claiming Victory Syria’s official newspaper, al-Thawra, stated in a front-page editorial on Saturday that “Obama announced yesterday, directly or through implication, the beginning of the historic American retreat.” Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad stated that Obama is showing signs of indecision. Even the British Parliament rejected the Obama war initiative against Syria. Recent polls show that American citizens are against this war by a 9 to 1 ratio. One of the major players in what was to be the upcoming attacks, France, has been clamoring for war against Syria for quite some time. France lost control over Syria in 1946 as they were unable to hold on to their colony following World War II. Of course, the French have not won a military battle since the early 19th century and with Obama meeting significant roadblocks they are unwilling to enter the conflict alone. This is a wise choice for the French, because they simply couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag. For the moment, the Assad-led Syrian government remains in power. The Beginning of Syrian Normalcy? Since Obama has waffled on attacking Syria this past weekend, Syria has somewhat returned to normal, or at least as normal as things could be under the dire circumstances in which the United States has placed them. However, any news of peace is not welcome news to the globalist-serving minions such as Secretary of State, John Kerry, who stated that sarin gas has been found in chemical weapons residue in Damascus, and this implicates Assad as being the source of the chemical weapons attack. That is like saying that a gun has been found at the scene of a homicide and the ownership of the gun can be ascribed to whatever political enemy deemed necessary. But apparently, that is Secretary Kerry’s story and he is sticking with it. Yet, Kerry’s logic is so horribly flawed. Why would Assad do the one thing that would allow the United States and her allies to wage war on Syria based on a pretext provided by Assad himself? Further, the chemical weapons attack occurred in a residential area under the control of the rebels. Assad is not stupid and he would never hand a loaded gun to Obama. Further, the chemical weapons target had no military value. In other words, there was nothing to gain for Assad to have launched the attack. However, we should not confuse Obama and Kerry with the facts. There is also nothing, in reality, for America to gain by attacking Syria. Fourteen hundred people died in chemical weapons attacks. How many more Syrian people will an Obama air campaign kill? Would it be 10,000, 50,000, 100,000 or two million? Because Assad is falsely accused of killing 1,400 of his own people, then does this give Obama the right to kill tens of thousands of Syrians in response? And the American people are seriously listening to this nonsensical reasoning? There is one decisive question that has never been asked and answered in all the discussions that I have read with regard to the chemical weapons attacks. If Obama was facing an overthrow at home, does anyone seriously think that he would not hesitate to use chemical weapons against his potential enemies, the American people? What does this say about the quality of our leadership when Kerry and Obama are not even clever enough to fabricate a believable cover story. The Real Culprit It is obvious to most neutral observers that the most that the CIA backed al-Qaeda led rebels could hope to achieve in the Syrian Civil War was a stalemate. Consequently, Obama needed a game changer because, as I have pointed out in several recent articles, the bankers are holding no less than six Watergate-type scandals (e.g. Benghazi) over Obama’s head as they blackmail him into producing results in the Middle East, which will culminate in saving the petrodollar. The game-changing event that Obama needed appears to most of us in the alternative media to consist of a false flag chemical weapons attack which could be used to implicate Assad. Of course, in this scenario, this event would be followed by military strikes which would be launched against Syria and a regime change would surely take place. The United Nations can investigate the event all they want, however, they will never be able to determine which side did it to any degree of certainty unless they are in on the fix. Syrians in the US Are Fighting Back All across the nation, people are marching in opposition to the coming war in Syria. Over 300 people rallied and marched in Chicago, last Thursday, as they collectively said, “Hands off Syria!”

This was in response to the U.S. threat of a military attack.
There is a very encouraging aspect of what happened at the Chicago protests.
Only half of the people present were estimated to be Syrians.
There were people of all backgrounds marching in the protests including Muslims, Christians, Assyrians, Arabs, atheists and other people of all backgrounds who are growing weary of the tyrannical bankers imposing their will on innocent people.
Also present was the Syrian American Forum (SAF).
The SAF is a group that has worked over the past several years to try to prevent U.S. intervention in their country.
The anti-war groups in attendance were also very diverse which included the Anti-War Committee, Chicago (AWC), ANSWER Coalition, and the March 19th Committee.
There were also members from the Iraq Veterans Against the War.
Syria constitutes the perfect victim.
Even the state-run media outlet, CNN, identifies the Syrian rebels' link to al-Qaeda (see the screen shot below).
With al-Qaeda involved how far behind can the CIA and ultimately the Muslim Brotherhood be?
The Syrian government and their people are not an aggressive people.
In Middle Eastern terms, they are a somewhat moderate regime, albeit a dictatorship.
Assad is supported by the majority of his people who also do not believe the chemical weapons allegations.
All of this adds up to a case of unnecessary victimization by the Obama administration.
And whatever the Obama administration will do to the Syrians on behalf of the bankers, they will surely do to people anywhere, including the United States when it is their/our turn to become a proxy villain in the name of resource reallocation.
Does anyone else see what is happening here?
The rank and file of the people on this planet have a real opportunity to stand up to the banksters and push back with great force.
The world is not going to collectively organize against GMOs, chemtrails, fluoride in the water, illegal immigration, death by doctor or most any other issues which has humanity fragmented. However, all human beings understand what it is like to be bullied and most people don’t like it.
The Syrian American Forum
Protests against the Syrian war have taken place all across the country and the diversity of the protesters is stunning.
The organizing element for most of these protests is the Syrian American Forum and they are the perfect place to start a nonviolent revolution against the bankers as they have good organizational capabilities as evidenced in the nationwide protest efforts.
I would suggest going to their contact page and offer to help.
We need to make T-shirts, bumper stickers and provide publicity for their efforts.
I would ask my friends in the alternative media to help in this endeavor as this opportunity, to uniformly oppose the bankers, may never come again.

We can derail the globalists on this issue and this issue could galvanize people to stand up to these globalist thugs on other issues as well.
The SAF advocates for the following reforms:
Syrian National Reconciliation and Unity through dialogue.
Promoting reforms.

A Secular Syria based on the coexistence mosaic of the Syrian society.
These are very easy initiatives to rally behind. The Syrian people are quickly showing the world that they are the only party in this conflict who still possess any degree of humanity.
Conclusion
Humanity needs to collectively organize to reject the use of force against Syria.
I am not keen on contacting Congress these days, but this is one exception I think everyone should make.
Syria could become our rallying cry for freedom on a global scale.
Karl Marx once said that before a successful revolution can be launched, a collective consciousness must be achieved.

This opportunity may not come again for humanity to stand against banker tyranny on a united front.
We have already won the first battle, we need to continue to take the fight the oppressors of humanity.

Although the elite still enjoy a huge wealth advantage over the masses, they are now resigned to behaving like tyrants to maintain control. This, in turn, exposes their dark side which has been cleverly concealed for ages. Not anymore.

MORGAN STANLEY: Many Of Our Clients Are Preparing For An Imminent Loss Of Central Bank Control

The Federal Reserve is contemplating unwinding its quantitative easing program, which at $85 billion in bond buying per month has constituted the single largest provision of marginal liquidity to global financial markets since this latest iteration of the stimulus program was launched in September 2012.

Such a move appears imminent – the consensus in the marketplace is that the first step in tapering back quantitative easing will be announced at the conclusion of the Fed's September 18-19 FOMC policy meeting.

This prospect has roiled global stock and bond markets in recent months, and in response to the increased volatility, the Fed has sought to reassure investors that it would continue to max out its other (main, in fact) policy stimulus tool – control over the level of benchmark interest rates – for years to come.

In that vein, Goldman Sachs chief economist Jan Hatzius expects the Fed to announce a "dovish taper" at the September meeting. Though the central bank will begin to taper back quantitative easing, Hatzius believes it will also find a way to tweak its "forward guidance" efforts (promises over the future path of interest rates).

The Goldman economist explained a few of the Fed's options for tweaking forward guidance in a recent note.

And while the Fed is in the spotlight, it's not the only central bank that is trying to lean more heavily on forward guidance these days – these "open-mouth operations" are currently all the rage at the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of Japan as well.However, investors don't think central banks will be successful with these new forward guidance tactics, which are expected to ramp up soon.

"Most clients I met buy our story that the Fed, the Bank of England and the ECB will step up their efforts to push back on expectations of earlier and faster rate hikes in the next few weeks and months," says Morgan Stanley global head of economics Joachim Fels in a Sunday note. "However, many doubt that Bernanke, Carney, Draghi & Co will be successful in their forward guidance efforts in the face of further improvements in the economic data."

In other words, despite continued efforts by central banks to keep interest rates low, improving economic conditions will force interest rates up.

For his part, Fels disagrees.

"Too much is at stake for central banks in terms of credibility and there are various ways to make forward guidance more precise and more forceful, including a lowering of the unemployment threshold and/or the introduction of a lower threshold for inflation, below which a rate hike will not be considered," says the Morgan Stanley economist.

Old Guy And a Bucket of Shrimp

 

It happened every Friday evening, almost without fail, when the sun resembled a giant orange and was starting to dip into the blue ocean.

Old Ed came strolling along the beach to his favorite pier. Clutched in his bony hand was a bucket of shrimp. Ed walks out to the end of the pier, where it seems he almost has the world to himself. The glow of the sun is a golden bronze now. 

Everybody's gone, except for a few joggers on the beach. Standing out on the end of the pier, Ed is alone with his thoughts...and his bucket of shrimp.

Before long, however, he is no longer alone. Up in the sky a thousand white dots come screeching and squawking, winging their way toward that lanky frame standing there on the end of the pier.

Before long, dozens of seagulls have enveloped him, their wings fluttering and flapping wildly. Ed stands there tossing shrimp to the hungry birds. As he does, if you listen closely, you can hear him say with a smile, 'Thank you. Thank you.'

In a few short minutes the bucket is empty. But Ed doesn't leave.

He stands there lost in thought, as though transported to another time and place.

When he finally turns around and begins to walk back toward the beach, a few of the birds hop along the pier with him until he gets to the stairs, and then they, too, fly away. And old Ed quietly makes his way down to the end of the beach and on home.

If you were sitting there on the pier with your fishing line in the water, Ed might seem like 'a funny old duck,' as my dad used to say. Or, to onlookers, he's just another old codger, lost in his own weird world, feeding the seagulls with a bucket full of shrimp.

To the onlooker, rituals can look either very strange or very empty. They can seem altogether unimportant ... maybe even a lot of nonsense.

Old folks often do strange things,
at least in the eyes of Boomers and Busters.

Most of them would probably write Old Ed off, down there in  Florida. That's too bad. They'd do well to know him better.

His full name: Eddie Rickenbacker. He was a famous hero in World War I, and then he was in WWII.  On one of his flying missions across the Pacific, he and his seven-member crew went down. Miraculously, all of the men survived, crawled out of their plane, and climbed into a life raft.

Captain Rickenbacker and his crew floated for days on the rough waters of the Pacific. They fought the sun. They fought sharks. Most of all, they fought hunger and thirst. By the eighth day their rations ran out. No food. No water. They were hundreds of miles from land and no one knew where they were or even if they were alive. Every day across America millions wondered and prayed that Eddie Rickenbacker might somehow be found alive.

The men adrift needed a miracle. That afternoon they had a simple devotional service and prayed for a miracle. They tried to nap. Eddie leaned back and pulled his military cap over his nose. Time dragged on.  All he could hear was the slap of the waves against the raft...

Suddenly, Eddie felt something land on the top of his cap.
It was a seagull!

Old Ed would later describe how he sat perfectly still, planning his next move. With a flash of his hand and a squawk from the gull, he managed to grab it and wring its neck. He tore the feathers off, and he and his starving crew made a meal of it - a very slight meal for eight men. Then they used the intestines for bait. With it, they caught fish, which gave them food and more bait . . . and the cycle continued. With that simple survival technique, they were able to endure the rigors of the sea until they were found and rescued after 24 days at sea. 

Eddie Rickenbacker lived many years beyond that ordeal, but he never forgot the sacrifice of that first life-saving seagull... And he never stopped saying, 'Thank you.' That's why almost every Friday night he would walk to the end of the pier with a bucket full of shrimp and a heart full of gratitude.

PS: Eddie Rickenbacker was the founder of Eastern Airlines. Before WWI he was race car driver. In WWI he was a pilot and became America 's first ace.  In WWII he was an instructor and military adviser, and he flew missions with the combat pilots.  Eddie Rickenbacker is a true American hero.   And now you know another story about the trials and sacrifices that brave men have endured for your freedom.

As you can see, I chose to pass it on.

As members of Congress reveal that calls to their offices are overwhelmingly against the war, and the House considers it may not vote at all, in order to spare Obama embarrassment, we can see a version of what refusing to vote for a president on election day looks like. It looks like: no-confidence. Every four years, I write about this possibility. Suppose only 19% of eligible voters showed up at the polls. It would speak loudly: The American people no longer trust the major candidates. They no longer trust the charade. They no longer trust the vote-count. They know both major candidates work for the same Globalist machine. No-confidence. Well, here it is. On the issue of the war. I’m not saying the Congress will reject war. They may go ahead and drive the steamroller over the people. But it’s getting a little hairy for them. And remember this. The media play any significant presidential victory as a signal that all his programs and plans are getting a boost. But on the flip side, that means a significant failure, in full view of the country, will register—despite the hype and explanations—as a weakening of his overall standing. Washington DC registers such shifts in power like starving dogs smelling bloody meat. They attack. War is supposed to be such a big deal that it’s a foregone conclusion, if the President wants it. He either sends the planes on his own, or Congress rubber stamps his position first. But this time, it’s different. This time it’s: do we believe the President and his “evidence” and his claim that he’s taking the moral high ground; or don’t we. The question is in plain sight. It’s out there for all to see. The push to war is such an obvious fabrication, only a complete fool or a dyed-in-the-wool Obama believer would opt for attacking Syria. The hypnotic Obama bubble is bursting, even for many of the faith. In my last article on Syria, I pointed out that the super-secret Congressional intell briefing was a sham. It was all generality and no hard evidence. It was basically arm twisting. So what’s left? Nothing. “Do what the President wants you to do.” If Congress says yes, they’ll go down deeper into the dumper with Obama. These barnacles on the body politic can do one thing: assess self-interest and electability. They’re thinking about it. They’re in the pressure cooker. Taking a step back…do you think Obama woke up one day and said, “Hold on here. Assad just used chemical weapons on his own people. I have to take action. I have to punish him.” Of course not. This idea came from somewhere else. It’s been on the table for years, as part of a Middle East strategy to destabilize the whole region. It’s, on one level, a Mossad-CIA plan, with a Saudi twist. On a higher level, it’s a Globalist operation, whose end game is order from chaos. Partition nations into warring ethnic enclaves, disrupt the oil flow, create, therefore, planet-wide depression, and come in behind that to install new fascist dictator-puppets, bringing in international banksters to “re-finance” the whole region and own it from the ground up. Obama is just another renter in the White House, playing the cards he was dealt. He goes along with the show, introducing his own prejudices, like any other President, and takes what he can get. He’s no magic man, and now his juice is running out. A no-confidence vote against war on Syria could, however, expand to mean no-confidence in any White House occupant from the two major parties. Waking up is hard to do, but if the American people keep their eyes open, they’ll see that this Syria escapade is just one more example of an agenda that betrays any sane person’s idea of what America is supposed to be. The only kind of transcendent President, in these times, would be one who, after a year or so in office, would hold a press conference and say, “I’ve learned I’m being run. Men are controlling the office of President. I’m supposed to take their orders. Here is what I know about them. Here are their names. Here is what they told me. Here is how they’re trying to coerce me. This is the story, the real story about what has happened to this country…” To which people might say, “How could a President do that? They’d kill him.” Exactly. That’s why I used the word “transcendent.” Every American President sends soldiers to their deaths, and he kills people in distant countries. To be “transcendent” is to put his own life on the line, too. That should give you some idea about why no-votes signaling no confidence in Presidents are vital. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. , and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo. Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.
