Prostitution. Bribery. Blackmail. Thuggery. Hypocrisy.
Those were just some of the incendiary words thrown around the U.S. Senate last week, and that doesn’t count what people said in private.
The Senate may still have a reputation as a genteel club, but lawmakers seemed to abandon rules of decorum completely last week in arguments about whether Congress should be treated like the rest of the country when it comes to Obamacare.
Senator David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican, has demanded a floor vote on his bill to end an exemption that members of Congress and their staffs are slated to get that will make them the only participants in the new Obamacare exchanges to receive generous subsidies from their employer to pay for their health insurance. Angry Senate Democrats have drafted legislation that dredges up a 2007 prostitution scandal involving Vitter. The confrontation is a perfect illustration of just how wide the gulf in attitudes is between the Beltway and the rest of the country — and how viciously Capitol Hill denizens will fight for their privileges.
In 1995, the newly elected Republican Congress passed a Congressional Accountability Act to fulfill a promise made the previous year in the Contract with America. For the first time, the Act applied to Congress the same civil-rights employment and labor laws that lawmakers had required everyday citizens to abide by. With some lapses, it’s worked well to defuse public outrage about “one law for thee, one law for me” congressional behavior.
In 2009, Senator Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) decided that the principle deserved to be embedded in Obamacare, and he was able to insert a provision requiring all members of Congress and their staffs to get insurance through the Obamacare health exchanges. “The more that Congress experiences the laws it passes, the better,” said Grassley. Although his amendment was watered down before final passage to exclude committee staff, it still applies to members of Congress and their personal staffs. Most employment lawyers interpreted that to mean that the taxpayer-funded federal health-insurance subsidies dispensed to those on Congress’s payroll — which now range from $5,000 to $11,000 a year — would have to end.
Democratic and Republican staffers alike were furious, warning that Congress faced a “brain drain” if the provision stuck. Under behind-the-scenes pressure from members of Congress in both parties, President Obama used the quiet of the August recess to personally order the Office of Personnel Management, which supervises federal employment issues, to interpret the law so as to retain the generous congressional benefits.OPM had previously balked at issuing such a ruling. Even without OPM, Congress could have voted to restore the subsidies or ordered a salary raise to compensate for the loss of benefits, but that would have been a messy, public process, which everyone wanted to avoid.
Senator Vitter says the OPM ruling has removed “the sting of Obamacare” from Congress. “Many Americans will see their health coverage dropped by employers, and they will be forced into the exchanges,” he told me last week. “If Congress is forced into them on the same terms, it will be more likely to fix Obamacare’s problems for others.” The bill he and his co-author, Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming, have drafted would make everyone working on Capitol Hill buy insurance through the exchanges — with no subsidies. White House officials and political appointees in the executive branch would also be required to obtain health insurance through the exchanges.
The Congressional Leadership Empire decided to strike back at Vitter. Politico reported that several Democratic senators have asked staff to draft legislation that would deny federal health subsidies to anyone who votes for the Vitter plan, even if Vitter’s plan doesn’t become law. An even more spiteful draft bill would bar subsidies to any lawmaker or aide found by a congressional ethics committee to have “engaged in the solicitation of prostitution.” In 2007, Vitter’s phone number was found in the records of the “D.C. Madam,” the owner of a high-end prostitution ring. Back then, Vitter held a news conference with his wife standing next to him and apologized for a “serious sin” that he refused to discuss further. He was reelected with 57 percent of the vote in 2010.
Vitter isn’t taking the attempts to strong-arm him quietly. “Harry Reid is acting like an old-time Vegas mafia thug, and a desperate one at that,” he said in a statement to Politico. He also wrote a letter to the Senate Ethics Committee demanding an investigation of Reid and Democratic senator Barbara Boxer of California. “Threatening to take away their colleagues’ health care coverage subsidy if they do not vote a certain way, at worst constitutes bribery and a quid pro quo arrangement, and at best amounts to improper conduct,” he wrote. Senator Reid’s office responded by calling Vitter’s charges “absurd and baseless.”
What Vitter’s opponents fear most is that this fight will penetrate the public’s consciousness. A new poll taken for Independent Women’s Voice, a conservative group, found that 92 percent of voters think Congress shouldn’t be exempted from the insurance provisions of Obamacare. Most voters blame both parties equally for the exemption, which means Republicans will also be hurt politically if it stands. “This is an issue with almost unprecedented intensity,” IWV president Heather Higgins told me. “Republicans have the choice of leading the Vitter parade for repeal or getting run over by it. To duck it will be viewed by their constituents as political malpractice.”

Elite Obama Hit Squad Linked To Navy Yard Shooting

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) is reporting today that signal intelligence analysts (SIGNIT) monitoring CIA-NSA-FBI “encrypted electronic communication traffic” in the United States have linked the 16 SeptemberWashington Navy Yard Shooting with the Obama regimes 18 June assassination of award winning American journalist Michael Hastings, and the 25 June ambush on the Los Angles Police Department detectives investigating Hastings’s murder.
Aaron Alexis, a lone gunman armed with a shotgun, fatally shot twelve people and injured three others in a mass shooting at the headquarters of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) inside the Washington Navy Yard in Southeast Washington , D.C.
The attack occurred around 8:20 a.m. EDT, this report continues, in Building 197 with the shooter Alexis being subsequently killed by US local and Federal police forces after what has been described as a “running gun battle.”
Michael Hastings, who at the time of his assassination was investigating CIA Director John Brennan, was not under direct GRU electronic surveillance, this report says, but GRU signal intelligence analysts monitoring “routine night flight observations” of a small fleet of ShadowHawks® unmanned drone aircraft at the US Marine Base Camp Pendleton in Southern California during the early morning hours of 18 June, observed that a single ShadowHawk® broke formation and“sped” towards the Los Angeles whereupon it fired upon Hastings vehicle nearing the intersection of Highland and Melrose avenues at around 04:15 PDT destroying it and killing Hastings. The GRU further reported that signal analysts monitoring CIA-NSA-FBI “encrypted electronic communication traffic” in the Los Angeles area on 25 June observed a “rapid spike” of “noise” occurring between 0415-0445 Hrs (4:15-4:45AM PSDT) within a 12 block radius of the Hastings “kill zone” identified as North Highland Avenue and Melrose.
At 4:37 AM PDT, this report continues, these same signal analysts reported an “urgent rise” in Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) emergency radio traffic too.
A comparison of these two anomalous events, this report says, showed that the “common link” between them was the attempted assassination by ambush of two LAPD detectives investigating Hastings death while they were driving into their Wilshire Division police station parking lot on Venice Boulevard, and which was less than 3 km from the Hastings “kill zone.”
Critical to note, this GRU report says, was that after the Hastings assassination, and ambush of the LAPD detectives, signal intelligence analysts were able to “document” the “encrypted electronic signature” used by these believed to be CIA-NSA-FBI assassins should it be used at some future date.
Subsequent to Hastings assassination, this report further states, this same “encrypted electronic signature” was observed occurring two other times…on 7 August in the Newport , Rhode Island
Curious to note, the GRU says, was that on 7 August, Alexis reported to the Newport Rhode Island Police that he was being threatened by unseen people and feared that “some sort of microwave machine” was penetrating his body, an incident that took place at the exact same time signals intelligence analysts noticed a “huge spike” of traffic having the exact same “encrypted electronic signature” previously noticed in Los Angles when Hastings was assassinated.
Even more curious, this report continues, was the 16 September observation of this exact same “encrypted electronic signature” that occurred shortly before 8:40 am EDT in the area of the Washington Navy Yard Shooting, and corresponding to when an elite tactical response team of the highly trained US Capitol Police, a force that guards the US Capitol complex, were told to leave the scene by a supervisor instead of aiding local officers in stopping the ongoing massacre.

With both the Hastings assassination and the Washington Navy Yard Shooting now being linked by the same identifiable “encrypted electronic signature,” this GRU report concludes, it cannot be ruled out that the Obama regime is now employing an “elite hit squad” against both its enemies and for an as yet undetermined domestic agenda.
And in what can only be described as farce meeting reality, the Obama regimes Department of Homeland Security (DHS), barely 48 hours after this mass shooting tragedy, issued a pre-solicitation order for over 4 million rounds per year of 12 gauge shotgun shells, which is the same type of ammunition used by Alexis in the shotgun he had carved the cryptic sayings “better off this way” and “my ELF weapon” prior to his taking 12 innocent lives.

Fathers on Constitution Day Constitution Day is the day we honor that ingenious living document set down by our forefathers which has successfully guided our people through complex and remarkable political change throughout the 226 years since its ratification. The Arab owned news agency Al Jazeera took the occasion to bash the Constitution, publishing an op-ed by American law professor Sanford Levinson in which he argues our Constitution "violates basic 21st-century presuppositions of democratic governance" Levinson goes on to argue that our Constitution is to blame for 'political extremism' and proposes that we need a new constitutional convention to rewrite the constitution and make it easier to change or amend. Perhaps then President Obama wouldn't have to worry about violating a document which he himself has called "fundamentally flawed" in the past. As an organization that supports the troops we find that extremely offensive to the millions of young men and women who have given their lives, their blood, sweat and toil to protect a 226 year old "fundamentally flawed" piece of paper.  On this Constitution Day, take some time to consider and appreciate what could be so special about the US Constitution that would make people give up so much to protect it. It is precisely because of the fact that it protects voting minorities of citizens from the tyranny of the masses and public opinion that can swing back and forth due to the news. Look at the many instances where liberals have used public tragedy to push their agendas. If people like Levinson had their way, Obama and colleagues like Rahm Emmanuel would take advantage of every crisis to push their sweeping liberal reforms that would fundamentally change America. White House gets ready for shutdown

The White House told federal agencies on Tuesday to prepare for a government shutdown.
President Obama's budget director Sylvia Matthews Burwell in a memo to agencies said they should set their plans in case Congress fails to pass a funding measure by the end of the month. The government would shut down Oct. 1 without action by Congress.
Only activities that are required by law would be allowed to continue to function during a shutdown, the memo states. A similar memo was released twice in 2011 amid potential shutdowns.
Conservative Republicans in the House and Senate are demanding that any government funding bill include language defunding ObamaCare and have said they will oppose a funding measure that doesn't include the ObamaCare defunding language.
Since Senate Democrats and President Obama are not expected to accept such language, the bill would likely lead to a government shutdown Oct. 1.
GOP leaders are expected to discuss various options for moving forward at a conference meeting Wednesday. Leaders appear to be leaning toward bringing a bill to the floor that would include language defunding ObamaCare.
The last government shutdown came in 1996. Washington came close to shutting down several times in 2011 amid budget fights.

During the show Bill Hemmer interviewed Jim Tranquada, Director of Communications of Occidental college, who not only showed the reporter the dorm where Barack Obama resided, but he also showed him Barack Obama’s college application. The reporter posted on the screen a picture of Barack Obama, which was attached to his Occidental College application.

Legal challenge at hand relates to elections challenge of Barack Obama in light of his Indonesian citizenship and in light of governmental records and expert affidavits showing Obama using computer generated forgeries instead of genuine IDs. Additionally appellant, who is a registered California voter and who was a candidate for office on the ballot, challenged one and a half million invalid voter registrations.
Appeal was filed for two reasons:
a. Lower court erred and abused its judicial discretion in dismissing the appeal
b. Lower court erred and abused its judicial discretion in denying Taitz motion to compel production of redacted student records of Barack Obama from Occidental College for the purpose of revealing Obama’s citizenship on his application and registration. This was essential, as Obama was registered as an Indonesian citizen in his school records in Indonesia, was removed from his mother’s US passport due to his Indonesian citizenship and Obama’s school registration at Occidental college was an essential factor to show that he confirmed his Indonesian citizenship while at college after the age of majority and therefore is not constitutionally eligible to serve as the US President. Obama was served with pleadings repeatedly and did not show up. Custodian of record, Occidental college argued that the records are sealed and opposed the motion to compel release of aforementioned records. Plaintiff argued that Obama’s citizenship is not a private matter, Obama already revealed his alleged citizenship by claiming that at all times he was the U.S. citizen, therefore requested record would not be a private matter and in the interest of National security, legitimacy of the U.S. Presidency outweighs any considerations of privacy, even if those considerations existed. Lower court ruled in favor of the custodian of records.
Attached DVD of the interview given by Jim Tranquada, Director of Communications of the Occidental college, show that the records were not sealed, that he freely gave FOX News reporter Obama’s application to the Occidental college and allowed to show on National TV and the Internet the photograph of 18 year old Obama, which was attached to the aforementioned application. As such Judge Marginis ruled in favor of the Occidental college on the basis of information, which was not true.
Provided information is admissible, was not available at the time the Appellants’ brief was filed and helps the fact finder to rule on the appeal.
2. Please, see exhibit 2, affidavit of Orly Taitz. This information is relevant, as Obama’s citizenship at Occidental college was at issue.
Further, when Taitz called Hathaway for a follow up, she was told that currently FBI is investigating Hathaway due to her release of Obama’s Indonesian citizenship information. This is relevant, as currently there is a pattern of intimidation of whistle blowers who come forward with information of fraud committed by Obama.
3. DEFENDANT OBAMA IS IMPROPERLY USING THE MEANS OF THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, SPECIFICALLY FBI, IN ORDER TO HARASS, BULLY AND INTIMIDATE WHISTLEBLOWERS, WHO ARE BRINGING FORWARD INFORMATION SHOWING HIM BEING A CITIZEN OF INDONESIA AND ILLEGALY USURPING THE US PRESIDENCY.
As stated, Whistleblower Hathaway is currently being investigated by the FBI.
On 09.16.2013 Taitz received a sworn declaration (Exhibit 3) from yet another whistle-blower, researcher, debt collector and skip trace investigator Albert Hendershot, disclosing that he was visited by the FBI after he released information showing that Barack Obama is using a Connecticut Social Security number assigned to Harry Bounel, born in 1890. In his declaration (Exhibit 3) Hendershot states that he was thrown to the ground, handcuffed and threatened with arrest unless he gives FBI “consent“ to search his computers and unless he gives the FBI the pass-code to his computers. Please, see in Exhibit 3 declaration by Albert Hendershot, “consent” to search computers by Albert Hendershot given to FBI and receipt for computer taken by the FBI from researcher Albert Hendershot. This information is important, as it confirms information providing in the complaint, showing Defendant Obama using fabricated IDs and a Social Security number which was assigned to another individual. It also shows a pattern of Obama using the means of the U.S. government, among them FBI, to harass, intimidate, bully the whistleblowers, deprive them of their constitutional rights under color of authority with the purpose of covering up Obama’s use of a stolen Social security number and fabricated IDs.
All of this supplemental evidence shows that Superior Court Judge Charles Marginis erred in dismissing Taitz v Obama et al and erred in denying motion by Taitz to compel the custodian of record, Occidental college, to produce redacted college application and registration for Obama and in awarding the attorneys fees to the custodian of records.
