Swiss Regulators Probing Alleged Currency Manipulation Swiss regulators said they’re investigating several banks for allegedly colluding to manipulate the $5.3 trillion-a-day foreign exchange market. The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority “is coordinating closely with authorities in other countries as multiple banks around the world are potentially implicated,” it said yesterday in a statement. Separately, the competition commission said it opened a preliminary probe on Sept. 30 after receiving allegations of collusion among banks to manipulate some foreign-exchange rates. The probes come after Bloomberg News reported in June that dealers at banks pooled information through instant messages and used client orders to move benchmark currency rates. Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority said that month it was reviewing the allegations. The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission has also been reviewing potential violations of the law with regards to foreign currency markets, according to a person familiar with the matter who asked not to be identified. Authorities around the world are investigating the alleged abuse of financial benchmarks by the firms that play a central role in setting them. UBS AG (UBSN), Switzerland’s largest bank, was among four firms fined about $2.6 billion for rigging the London interbank offered rate, the benchmark for more than $300 trillion of securities worldwide. Potential Manipulation European regulators are reviewing allegations of collusion in crude oil and biofuels markets, while the CFTC and FCA are also probing the potential manipulation of ISDAfix, a benchmark for interest-rate swaps. In yesterday’s statement, Finma didn’t identify which firms it’s investigating or give details of the scope of its probe. The Swiss competition commission said it will decide at a later point what further action to take. Vinzenz Mathys, a spokesman for Bern-based Finma, declined to comment further. UBS is among the banks being probed by Swiss regulators, the Financial Times said today, citing unidentified sources. Dominik Von Arx, a London-based UBS spokesman, declined to comment. Marc Dosch at Credit Suisse Group AG (CSGN) declined to comment. UBS closed at 18.56 francs, up 0.5 percent in Zurich, while Credit Suisse gained 0.6 percent to 28.23 francs. Britain’s FCA yesterday reiterated its June statement that it has been speaking to the “relevant” parties. The regulator has separately requested information from four banks including Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) and Citigroup Inc. (C), a person with knowledge of the matter who asked not to be identified said in June. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority said in a statement yesterday it will “closely monitor” developments. Barclays, Citigroup About four banks account for more than half of all trading in the foreign-exchange market, according to a May survey by Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc. (ERM) Deutsche Bank is No. 1 with a 15 percent share, followed by Citigroup with almost 15 percent and London-based Barclays Plc (BARC) and UBS, which each have 10 percent. Giles Croot, a spokesman for Barclays, Sebastian Howell at Deutsche Bank and Jeffrey French at Citigroup declined to comment. Traders at some of the world’s largest banks sought to manipulate the WM/Reuters currency rates in their favor by pushing through trades before and during the 60-second windows when the benchmarks are set, five current and former dealers with knowledge of the practice said in June. Some dealers colluded with counterparts to boost their chances of moving the rates, said two of the people, who worked in the industry for a total of more than 20 years. Index Providers The WM/Reuters rates are used by fund managers to determine what they pay for currencies and to compute the day-to-day value of their holdings, and by index providers such as FTSE Group and MSCI Inc. (MSCI) that track stocks and bonds in multiple countries. While the rates aren’t followed by most investors, even small movements can affect the value of what Morningstar Inc. (MORN) estimates is $3.6 trillion in funds including pension and savings accounts that track global indexes. Traders said that because they agree to deal at the 4 p.m. WM/Reuters price, they have to push through the bulk of their trades during the window when the rate is calculated to minimize potential losses. That leads to a surge in trading volume, which can intensify any moves, they said.

  We were thinking of what might be the holdup, from China, Iraq, the US, etc. I’ve heard it all, but the holdup has already been dealt with. 
An enormous amount of money changed hands this week.  A very powerful lady figure stepped in and said if it’s not done in “X” amount of days she will step in and do it.  We know that this is factual.  The final payment is in process or already paid to Kuwait. We should see rates live tomorrow into Sunday.  I heard a 72 hour wait was put on it but it may have been taken off, we wait to see how that plays out.  The rates are $25.99 for IQN and the VNN is showing in the 2’s.  I think it will come out in the high 2’s but will soon jump into the 3’s.  The “all banks open” or “all banks closed” situation has been taken off of the table because of the circumstances.  It can go at anytime

Friday, on Coast to Coast AM hosted by John B. Wells filling in for George Noory, history was made as Wells unleashed a bombshell broadcast on a typically scheduled open-phones night. Against all odds “command has acquiesced and allowed me to get a little crazy with it tonight. Crazy like a fox don’t you know”, Wells stated on air during the show’s opener setting the ominous overtone for the powerful broadcast to follow entitled, the Friday Night RAMA-Jama (Revolutionary Alternative Media Assult-Jama)_[1]

First up to bat was Abby Martin, a journalist for RT.com, who knocked it out of the park touching on key topics which affect the American people directly. From the corruption of politics to the mainline press all reading from the same script, Abby says, “It’s time to stop tiptoeing around these issues we  know are unlawful and unconstitutional and start calling them out [...] I’m just there challenging and undermining the establishment in every sense of the way, calling out the real players behind the game, challenging the corporatocracy.” 
Abby is right, we do need to stop tiptoeing around. We need to hit these criminal rogue elements hard, not even giving them the opportunity to get back up onto their feet, because that’s what they are doing to us.
Everything that is now transpiring in America, the way U.S. Government is run, all of this is wrong. The government is simply not representing the American people’s interests as it should. The government has been overrun, salted, and is now fully controlled. Everything is opposite, it’s 180 degrees backwards, upside-down and inside-out. There is a push to break the backs of the American people, they want to strip us of our free-thinking skills.
“They want us to be mindless drones [...] the industrial robot was invented in 1961, they want to replace humans”, Shepard Ambellas said, the second hour guest on Friday’s RAMA-Jama broadcast. “They can’t have free-thinking individuals out there actually becoming citizen journalists, taking action for themselves, using platforms that are already there like Intellihub.com. [...] this is the world we live in now [...] things are getting serious.”, Ambellas said, moving forward to talk about how people can’t even count anymore saying, “they don’t want us to trust ourselves”.

Ambellas is the founder and director of the popular alternative news website Intellihub.com and is one of the makers of SHADE the Motion Picture along with Jason Bermas, the maker of groundbreaking documentary films such as Loose Change and Fabled Enemies. Ambellas and Bermas plan to hit the globalists with a knock-out punch combo as their new film exposing a sinister agenda drops October 15th on DVD video, and October 18th on YouTube.com in 480p. The film was briefly mentioned during the broadcast.

Ambellas continued on to talk about other important issues, including the need for people to take action. Ambellas also raised the idea of forming his own so-called “Bilderberg Meeting” of sorts, as he plans to hold his own yearly gathering with all of the top and most predominant members of the alternative media, including celebrities and popular musicians and activist group from around the world to talk behind closed doors, fighting fire with fire. The idea is to let the Bilderbergers wonder what tricks the free-thinkers have up their sleeves waiting for them.
Hour number three got even better as the Buzzsaw crew jumped on the show with host John B. Wells. Buzzsaw is composed of Tyrel Ventura, Sean Stone and Tabetha Wallace, who form a formidable force in the alternative media. The crew touched on the need for “unity” and not “infighting”, which consequently is a problem in the so-called “truth” movement.
“The alternative media is rising”, host John B. Wells stated, going on the question how prevalent disinformation is in the press. Tyrel Ventura jumped in explaining how there is a need to vet any information regardless saying, “that’s why people are moving to alternative news now, they feel that they have been lied to for so long and they’re hungry [...] people are no longer sitting on their hands. They want the truth.”
Judging by the reactions of people I have spoken with thus far, this broadcast will likely become a favorite amongst the people, going down in history as one of the most game-changing Coast to Coast AM broadcasts ever as we are the media.

According to this MoFA bulletin, GRU intelligence assets were notified by their Pentagon counterparts this past week that President Barack Obama is preparing to invoke the powers given to him under 50 USC Chapter 13 to hold that various American States are now in a “state of insurrection” thus allowing him to invoke the National Emergencies Act under 50 USC § 1621 and invoke the highly controversial “continuity of government” plan for the United States allowing him, in essence, to rule with supreme powers. Specifically, this bulletin says, Obama will invoke 50 USC § 212 that states: “ the President shall have declared by proclamation that the laws of the United States are opposed, and the execution thereof obstructed, by combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings” The specific laws being opposed by these “combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings,” that Obama will outline in his reasoning’s for declaring a state of emergency, this bulletin continues, are the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), otherwise known as Obamacare. The NDAA is opposed by many US States, this bulletin says, with California joining Alaska and Virginia this past week in passing a law making it illegal to be enforced in their territory, and with many other States, also, preparing to do the same. (Here is Jeremiah’s ruler against ruler – SCB) The specific portions of the NDAA law being opposed by these US States allows for the indefinite detention without charges or trial of all American citizens and allows for their assassination should Obama order it. The PPACA (Obamacare) law is, likewise, opposed by over half of the US States and has led to an American “shutdown” this past week that has closed 15% of their government, but has left fully 85% of it still open. To the specific “combinations too powerful” Obama will cite in his declaration of National Emergency as being needed to be defeated by extraordinary measures, the MoFA says, is a faction of the US House of Representatives popularly known as the Republican Tea Party whom the President and his allies have likened to “hostage takers” and “political terrorists.” Obama’s greatest fear, and reason(s) for declaring a National State of Emergency, this bulletin continues, was outlined yesterday by his US Treasury Department who released a report yesterday warning of potentially “catastrophic” damage should Congress fail to raise the debt ceiling and prevent the government from defaulting on its debt. As the current US government shutdown crisis and debt ceiling fight have now merged, the MoFA warns in this bulletin, Obama further warned yesterday that an impasse on the debt ceiling beyond 17 October, when the US government will be essentially out of cash to pay its bills, could start a downward economic plunge worse than the recession of five years ago – with credit markets seizing up, the dollar’s value plummeting and US interest rates soaring and even coming close to the brink of such an unprecedented default that could roil both domestic and foreign financial markets. Preparing to oppose Obama, should he, in fact, declare a National State of Emergency, the GRU grimly warns, is the US military who themselves are preparing to invoke 50 USC § 842 which allows them to protect America from “The Communist Party of the United States, or any successors of such party regardless of the assumed name, whose object or purpose is to overthrow the Government of the United States, or the government of any State, Territory, District, or possession thereof…” Not known to many Americans is that the Progressive movement Obama belongs to, and whose media acolyte “presstitutes” swept into office, have long been associated with the Communist Party. And, as the World Net Daily News Service reported this past August, John C. Drew, Ph.D., the award-winning political scientist, met Obama in 1980 and wrote in 2011: “[Obama] believed that the economic stresses of the Carter years meant revolution was still imminent. The election of Reagan was simply a minor set-back in terms of the coming revolution. … Obama was blindly sticking to the simple Marxist theory … ‘there’s going to be a revolution.’ Obama said, ‘we need to be organized and grow the movement.’ In Obama’s view, our role must be to educate others so that we might usher in more quickly this inevitable revolution.” With Obama’s “revolution” now at hand, the GRU warns in this bulletin, it is critical to note that that United States, unlike other nations, have all of their elected officials and military personal swear allegiance to the US Constitution, and not to their government or its leaders. Every once in a great while, someone in the globalist camp makes a spectacular admission against interest, to the effect that there really is — as patriotic organizations like The John Birch Society have long maintained — a plot to set up world government and to subordinate to it the sovereignty of all independent nations, including the United States.
In the 1960s, it was Georgetown University history professor Carroll Quigley’s revelations about a secret international organization laying plans for world federalism — first in his magnum opus Tragedy and Hope, and later in a slimmer and more focused tome The Anglo-American Establishment — that galvanized American patriots to warn against a conspiracy to erect a world government. In 1974, Columbia University professor Richard Gardner, eventual U.S. ambassador to Italy and Spain and member of the Trilateral Commission, observed in a famous article in Foreign Affairs, “The Hard Road to World Order,” that world government could best be created piecemeal, via an “end run around national sovereignty” that would look to casual observers like a “booming, buzzing confusion” but would succeed far better than an “old-fashioned frontal assault.”
In general, though, such candid admissions have been hard to come by, mostly because those who favor some form of world government fear arousing the wrath of the American people. World government, after all, would amount to a total disavowal of the Declaration of Independence, and would lead in the long run not to some kind of enlightened global federal republic, but to world socialism and the extinction of liberty.
Nevertheless, Salon’s Matt Stoller apparently feels that the 20th-century drive to create world government — obvious in hindsight — is now far enough in the rearview mirror, and the institutions that stemmed from it enough of a fait accompli, to be worthy of open discussion in one of the Web’s most influential magazines. Stoller, be it noted, is an accomplished left-wing journalist and former senior policy advisor for prominent Democrat congressman Alan Grayson. Stoller has written for Politico and Reuters, in addition to Salon, and has been a writer and consultant for the show “Brand X with Russell Brand,” featuring the quirky British comedian.
In a September 20 Salon article entitled “Elites’ Strange Plot to Take Over the World,” Stoller spelled out much of what The John Birch Society and other patriot groups have been ridiculed for believing for decades. Writing of events that have been “written out of liberal historical memory,” Stoller introduces Salon readers to Clarence Streit, a Rhodes Scholar-turned elite journalist who, in 1939, published an influential but now scarcely-remembered tome, Union Now: A Proposal for an Atlantic Federal Union of the Free. In his book, Streit proposed to federate the United States, Canada, the “freedom-loving” nations of Europe, and other English-speaking countries like Australia and New Zealand under an international government designed along the lines of the U.S. government. As other countries adopted the ways of freedom, they would be invited to join, leading eventually to a federal world government — American republicanism on a global scale, as it were.

Divorcing his criticisms from the underlying purpose of the law itself, McAfee ripped ObamaCare’s technological arrangement and worried that all of its huge moving parts will make it a perfect environment for hackers to steal Americans’ identities, personal information, and money.
The massive consolidation of so much of Americans’ sensitive data has been the prime concern of several lawmakers trying to secure a delay in the system’s implementation, but of course, their quest to make sure the system actually works and that Americans’ information is secure before putting it to an arbitrary political deadline isn’t welcome in the ranks of the Obama administration.

I have not read of a single dollar reduction in foreign aid as a result of sequestering. All items cut were for the express purpose of hurting the American taxpayer/working people the most!

We have Hundreds of adoptable American Children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of Foreign orphans. AMERICA: A country where we have Countless Homeless without shelter, Children going to bed hungry, Elderly going without needed medication and the Mentally ill without treatment -- etc. YET.......... They will have a 'Benefit' Show For the people of Haiti , on 12 TV Stations; Ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies. Now Just Imagine if Our own *GOVERNMENT* Gave 'Us' the same support they give to foreign countries. Sad, isn't it? 99% of people won't have the 'guts' to forward this. All of this whining and crying about a “government shutdown” is a
total joke.  You see, there really is very little reason why this
“government shutdown” cannot continue indefinitely because almost
everything is still running.  63 percent of all federal workers are
still working, and 85 percent of all government activities are still
being funded during this “shutdown”.  Yes, the Obama administration
has been making a big show of taking down government websites and
blocking off the World War II Memorial, but overall business in
Washington D.C. is being conducted pretty much as usual.  It turns out
that the definition of “essential personnel” has expanded so much over
the years that almost everyone is considered “essential” at this
point.  In fact, this shutdown is such a non-event that even referring
to it as a “partial government shutdown” would really be overstating
what is actually happening.

The following are 36 facts which prove that almost everything is still
running during this government shutdown…

#1 According to U.S. Senator Rand Paul, 85 percent of all government
activities are actually being funded during this “government
shutdown”.

#2 Approximately 1,350,000 ”essential” federal employees will continue
to work during this “government shutdown”.

#3 Overall, 63 percent of the federal workforce will continue to work
during this “government shutdown”.

#4 The U.S. Postal Service will continue to deliver our mail.

#5 U.S. military personnel will remain on duty and will continue to get paid.

#6 Social Security recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#7 Medicare recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#8 Medicaid recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#9 Food stamp recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#10 Those on unemployment will continue to get their benefits.

#11 Federal retirees will continue to get their pensions.

#12 The federal school lunch program has enough money to go through at
least the end of this month.

#13 Public schools all over the country will continue to stay open.

#14 Almost all federal law enforcement officials will continue working.

#15 The Federal Reserve will remain “completely functional“.

#16 The Supreme Court will continue to operate normally and federal
courts have enough money to keep going for at least two weeks.

#17 TSA employees will continue to molest travelers at our airports.

#18 Air traffic controllers will continue to monitor traffic at our airports.

#19 Hopelessly outmanned border patrol agents will continue to try to
stem the tide of illegal immigration.

#20 Visas and passports will continue to be issued by the State Department.

#21 The Veterans Administration will continue to offer substandard
medical services, and it will be able to continue processing benefit
payments at least for now.

#22 The Obama administration apparently has plenty of money to spend
on closing open-air memorials that are usually open to the public 24
hours a day.

#23 The Department of Defense announced the awarding of 94 new
contracts worth a combined total of more than 5 billion dollars on
September 30th – the day right before the “government shutdown”.

#24 The “government shutdown” has not prevented the new two billion
dollar NSA spy center from opening up.

#25 Federal prisons will continue to operate normally.

#26 Amtrak trains will continue to run.

#27 The Patent and Trademark Office will be open.

#28 The Consumer Product Safety Commission will continue to issue
product recalls if the products “create an immediate threat to the
safety of human life“.

#29 The National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Centerwill
continue to track weather patterns.

#30 If the federal government needs to respond to a natural disaster,
this “shutdown” will not affect that.

#31 NASA will continue to support the Mars Rover and the two American
astronauts up on the International Space Station.

#32 All city employees of the D.C. government have been deemed
“essential” and will continue to go to work.

#33 Even though the Obamacare exchanges are not working properly,
people will still be able to access them.

#34 The IRS will continue to collect taxes, but it will be suspending
punitive audits of conservative organizations.

#35 Barack Obama will continue to get paid for the full duration of
this “shutdown”.

#36 The U.S. Congress will continue to get paid for the full duration
of this “shutdown”.

Of course not everything is operating normally during this government
shutdown.  Government parks are closed.  The EPA and the Department of
Energy have almost totally closed up shop.  But overall, most
Americans are not going to notice much of a difference.

And perhaps now is a good time for the American people to evaluate
whether or not they actually need a gigantic federal government that
wastes enormous mountains of our money.

For example, our federal government recently spent $98,670 to
construct a single outhouse in Alaska.

That is more than a lot of Americans pay for their entire houses.

It is about time that Washington D.C. started experiencing some of the
“belt-tightening” that the rest of the country has been going through.
 For far too long, the fatcats in D.C. have been living in an
alternate reality where they have been able to live the high life at
our expense.  A recent blog post by Daniel Greenfield discussed how
this shutdown is going to affect the alternate reality that the Obamas
have been living in…

The government shutdown has forced Obama to make do with only a
quarter of his 1,701 person staff. That would leave 436 “vital”
employees. The 90 people who look after his living quarters would be
slashed to 15 to “provide minimum maintenance and support”.

Buckingham Palace, which is twelve times the size of the White House
and has its own clockmaker, only has an 800 person staff. King Harald
V of Norway and his court make do with 152 staffers. King Carl XVI
Gustaf of Sweden gets by with 203.

On Twitter, Michelle Obama announced that she is unable to Tweet on
her own without the aid of all of her sixteen assistants; many of whom
take home six figure salaries. There are more directors, associate
directors and deputy associate directors on Michelle Obama’s staff
than there were in George Washington’s entire administration.

Presidents have fought wars and made peace, explored and annexed vast
territories and built a nation out of a handful of colonies with fewer
senior staffers than are needed to handle Michelle Obama’s Twitter
account.

Oh the humanity!  Will Michelle Obama ever tweet again?  And how will
the White House continue to function without at least one
projectionist on duty at the White House 24 hours a day?

No wonder Barack Obama is so upset about this shutdown.

In the end, this shutdown could turn out to be very good for America.
We have a government that is wildly out of control and that
desperately needs to be reigned in.

During the Obama administration, federal debt held by the public has
risen by 90 percent, and overall federal government spending has risen
by a whopping 317 percent since 1990.

So is it really a bad thing that the federal government has been
forced to cut back for a little while?

Our politicians can whine and cry all they want.  They won’t be
getting any sympathy from me.
