THE COUNTRY BELONGS TO THE VETERANS AND TAXPAYERS, NOT THE POLITICIANS

Chris McDaniel (R-MS) is the clear choice in Mississippi.

Fellow Conservatives:

One of the most important U.S. Senate races in the country is in Mississippi where conservative Chris McDaniel (R-MS) is challenging incumbent U.S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) for the Republican nomination.

Senator Thad Cochran has been in Washington for 41 years and has...
  • Voted for at least 10 debt limit increases
  • Voted for higher income taxes, gas taxes, and Internet taxes
  • Voted to fund Obamacare
  • Voted for the Bridge to Nowhere
  • Voted to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Chris McDaniel, however, is a proven conservative who...
  • Chris McDaniel (R-MS)Lead Mississippi’s lawsuit against the federal government to declare Obamacare unconstitutional
  • Wrote legislation at the state level to require the use of E-verify to prevent companies from employing illegal aliens
  • Wrote the bill that was signed into Mississippi law protecting the rights of students to engage in prayer in school
  • Cast one of the few votes against a wasteful spending bill that included unnecessary spending for museums
  • Wrote legislation to provide a tax credit so that students in failing schools could get an education in higher performing private schools
The choice between these two candidates could not be more clear and the outcome of this race will affect all Americans.

Please help Chris McDaniel win this critical U.S. Senate race by making a contribution to his campaign today.

This is very important. The primary is on June 3rd so we need to raise funds for him now so he can get his message out.

Chris McDaniel supports free-market solutions and will stand shoulder to shoulder with conservatives like Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) in the fight for America's future.

The establishment has dumped millions of dollars into this race to stop him because they want to continue business as usual.

If you want to change Washington -- if you want to make DC listen -- then please do whatever you can to help Chris McDaniel win this race.

Conservatives helped Ben Sasse win in Nebraska and Alex Mooney win in West Virginia. Now, Chris McDaniel needs our help in Mississippi.

Thank you for everything you do to fight for freedom.

Best regards,

Matt Hoskins

7 Reasons why you’re always hungry
Hi John
For those of you who are, ahem, a “more mature” age like me, you probably remember the TV show The Beverly Hillbillies.
In case you’re not familiar with it, the show was about a poor backwoods family who suddenly struck it rich with oil on their property and moved from their tiny remote mountain cabin to a mansion in Beverly Hills, CA.
And did that ever make for some hilarious story lines!
One of the characters on the show was Jethro Bodine.  He was known for being not-so-bright and having an enormous appetite.  He was ALWAYS hungry and that made for many funny moments on the show.
But what’s not so funny is that in the real world, there are a whole lot of Jethro Bodines out there who are constantly hungry…
And packing on the pounds as a result!
If you’ve got a little Jethro in you, let’s take a look and see why your inner dinner bell might be clanging too often…
And more importantly, what you can do about it to help stop adding to your love handles and create a slimmer YOU!
7 Reasons why you’ve got a “Jethro” appetite
1-      You’re actually thirsty (aka your body needs water)
It’s true—many people can think that they’re hungry when they’re actually thirsty
Here are a few ways you can tell the difference:
  • Next time you feel hungry between meals, drink a large glass of water and see if your “hunger” subsides.
  • If your urine is dark yellow and opaque at any time other than first thing in the morning, chances are excellent you’re dehydrated and thirsty.
  • If Jimmy Carter was President last time you drank a glass of water, and your beverages of choice are coffee, beer, wine and soda, trust me—your body needs water.
Make sure you’re drinking at least five to eight 8-oz. glasses of WATER each day.
2-      You’re PMSing
Ladies, it’s a fact that the hormonal changes associated with PMS trigger your appetite and cravings, especially for refined carbohydrates.
In order to help curb your cravings and even out your blood sugar, be sure to concentrate on complex (not refined) carbs—like whole grains, fruits and vegetables—plus healthy proteins and high fiber foods.
In addition, the amino acid L-glutamine can help reduce sugar cravings.  Supplements are available online and in health foods stores—experts suggest a dosage of 500 mg. 1-2 times per day.
3-      You’re a diet soda-holic
I know—most people who drink diet soda think they’re doing something good for their waistline.  After all, it’s got zero calories, right?
Well, my friend, what you’re doing is sending false messages to your brain!
You see, your brain senses the sweetness of the soda and thinks that calories are coming.  But lo and behold when they don’t, your brain starts to DEMAND them.
And you feel hungry as a result!
The answer here is pretty obvious—lay off soda (both diet and regular).  Water is a FAR better choice for many reasons (see number 1 above).
4-      You’re stressed
Your body’s biological response to stress is the “fight or flight” reaction.
That is, your adrenal glands sense that you may need to act quickly in a stressful situation, so they release adrenaline to get your heart rate pumping, put glucose into your bloodstream and increase your respiration to help you.
Then once the stress is over, cortisol is released to help keep you going and refuel your body.  As part of that, it gives you an appetite so you can replace nutrients used up in your stressful event.
This is fine when your stresses are temporary and short-lived, like maybe a fender-bender, running a race, taking an important test or speaking to a large audience.
But when you’re chronically stressed day in and day out, this mechanism operates in overdrive…and can give you a constant, voracious appetite as a result!
If chronic stress is a problem for you, it’s time to chill out.  If you feel you need help, there are some good suggestions here: www.stress.org
5-      Side effects of your medications
Certain common medications can cause increased appetite, including steroids and antidepressants.
If you’re on any medications, check the literature and see if they can be the culprit behind your Jethro appetite.  If so, talk to your doctor about alternatives (or see if you can find a natural answer and/or get off them altogether!).
6-      You don’t get adequate rest
Constant yawning and needing toothpicks to keep your eyelids open at your desk are not the only consequences of lacking sleep.
Because too little sleep has been linked to higher levels of the hormone ghrelin, which can trigger hunger
Plus when you're sleep deprived, you’re more likely to choose sugary, refined carbohydrates to help provide a quick rush of glucose for energy.
But the problem is, the rush is short-lived and you’ll come crashing down in a little while as a result…
Then you’ll crave MORE refined carbs and continue a vicious cycle.
The average adult needs 7-9 hours of sleep per night.  If you’re getting less than that, it’s time to turn off the TV, power down the computer and get some decent rest!
And the biggest one of all…
7-      You’re not nourishing your body!
Your body's hunger signal is triggered by a lack of nutrients--not by a physical absence of food in your stomach.
So if you're eating lots of nutrient-poor processed/junk foods, you are very likely malnourished and repeatedly sounding off your inner dinner bell.  And that means feelings of constant hunger, even shortly after eating a large meal.
You could eat a meal big enough for a lumberjack, but if you're not getting the nutrients you need, you'll feel hungry again in a little while...and you'll be hankering around the cupboard or refrigerator or vending machine for something to eat AGAIN.
The key here, my friend, is to eat REAL foods and make sure your body is absorbing the precious nutrients from those foods!
Now, this is not as hard as it sounds.
It just takes a bit of common sense, a little determination and the right advice.
That's where I come in.
In the Great Taste No Pain system, I’ll guide you on how to structure delicious, easier-to-digest meals made of REAL foods, just brimming with nutrients.
The recipe book has many scrumptious dishes made from real food ingredients that taste FAR better than any packaged stuff you can buy.
And the GTNP manuals show you the few simple principles you'll need to know to make real food meals that your body has an easier time breaking down. This will help keep acid and toxins to a minimum and enhance nutrient absorption.
That means no tummy troubles and quite likely smaller clothes in your near future.
It also means having a LOT more energy and a cleaner you on the inside, so you're a less attractive home for diseases and tumors to flourish.
Plus having a cleaner, alkaline body can also lead to great changes like these:
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Lower cholesterol
  • More normal, stable blood sugar
  • Fewer migraine headaches
  • Less anxiety and depression
  • Fewer general aches and pains
And THAT can mean less or no reliance on prescription medications too!
Note: If you’re gluten sensitive or Celiac, I’ve got you covered too with Great Taste No Gluten.
Enhance that nutrient absorption even more!
If you've been a processed/junk food fan for a while (be honest) chances are excellent what you've got some serious gut flora imbalance going on.
You see, processed foods (especially the added sugar) are food for the harmful bacteria in your gut, so they thrive and overcome your beneficial bacteria.
Not only can this cause gas, bloating, constipation and a weak immune system, but it can also greatly hamper your nutrient absorption too!
In addition to a healthy diet of real foods (like I mentioned above) which feeds your friendly flora, probiotic supplementation can be a tremendous help.
Super Shield's 13 strains of friendly bacteria are up to the task, ready to line your intestinal walls, keep the "bad guys" in check, help keep your BMs regular, beef up your immune system and help you get and keep those precious nutrients your body needs!
Having a “Jethro appetite” and the resulting excess weight and illness is truly no laughing matter.
But when you instead look at what may be causing your inner dinner bell to ring in overdrive, you can take control of your appetite once and for all…
And I’m sure you’ll see a difference in your health and especially your waistline very soon!
To your health,
Sherry Brescia

PS:  Always be sure to let your doctor or healthcare provider know what supplements you are taking.
PPS: Susan’s down 45 pounds and has relief from colitis!

Dear Sherry,
I was diagnosed with colitis in May 2010. Because the gastroenterologist could not help me by giving me ideas about what to eat for relief of severe abdominal pain with constipation and diarrhea, I decided to check out diets on the internet. Searching for ‘diet for colitis’ I found many but they all told me the same thing as the doctor. That is, keep a food journal and determine what foods are the culprit. That did not help at all as some time I thought I found the cause of my distress but another time the same foods did not bother me at all.
When I saw your Great Taste No Pain plan I thought ’whatever’ but decided to investigate. The free four day plan was there and because I had nothing to lose, I tried it. Wow! It worked! No pain! In only one day I had great relief. And the food was delicious. I sent for the whole package and have been on the diet since.
I don’t know how to express my gratitude. This diet was a life saver. It literally gave me my life back. I can leave the house without any pain and anxiety about where the bathrooms are and I don’t worry about if I have my Imodium AD with me. I could now carry on my normal social life, my routine visiting family and friends in their homes, and drive around town doing all my normal shopping, banking, and go dining in restaurants. Also, I am off my statin and proton pump inhibitor as I experience no more GERD and my cholesterol is lowered as well as my blood pressure. I have had hot flashes for 30 years and now do not. I surmised it was the statin causing them.
And what’s more, I thought I felt good after four days on the plan but after 11 months on the plan and probiotics I noticed I felt better than I have in over 30 years. It only gets better. I credit, along with the diet, the Super Shield Probiotics for assisting my digestive system to heal my body with the additional nutrition provided by the proper combinations of foods. And I lost 45 lbs. without every feeling hungry!
To you Sherry, thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing all your research and knowledge with the whole world through the wonderful world-wide web.
Sincerely,
Susan

The Bees Are Back…As Robots? Harvard Project Funds The Engineering Of Robotic Bees Soon To Be In Flight

With the alarming decline in the honey bee population sweeping our globe, fear of the multi-billion dollar crop industry collapsing has been on many people’s minds.
To tackle this issue, Harvard’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences has been working with staff from the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Northeastern University’s Department of Biology to develop robot bees. Yes that’s right, Robobees. And according to a new video just released, these insectoid automatons have already taken flight.
2013_3_19_image-b6f0564b
According to the creators of Robobee:
The demonstration of the first controlled flight of an insect-sized robot is the culmination of more than a decade’s work . . . Half the size of a paperclip, weighing less than a tenth of a gram, the robot was inspired by the biology of a fly, with submillimeter-scale anatomy and two wafer-thin wings that flap almost invisibly, 120 times per second.
Environmental organization Greenpeace released an unnerving public service announcement video showcasing what a potential world would look like if it were inhabited by these Robobees. The video utilizes calming music and mesmerizing imagery to paint the picture of this ‘perfect’ world.
Not sure about anyone else, but after watching the video I felt disturbed about the entire project. Micro-robots that fly around and kill other insects and monitor our environment? Does anyone else think this is a little bit strange?
Harvard University listed on their website the possible benefits of such technology, alluding to the Robobees being a technological means to efficiently pollenate crops without the dependence on the declining honey bee population. Of course, this decline is in part due to the insecticide GMO crops plaguing our planet. So in reality these Robobees are not targeting the root of the problem, but hey, it’s a start….
Harvard’s “Micro Air Vehicles Project” is inspired by the biology of a bee and the insect’s hive behaviors. While the developers have created these micro-bots to be autonomous, meaning that they have a ‘mind’ of their own, they also plan on coordinating large numbers of the Robobees to accomplish more complicated tasks faster and efficiently.
robobees1
The robots are created through an incredible micro-engineering process specifically designed for mass production. Each “Bee” is designed with its own electronic nervous system and power source, and able to target tasks with a microscopic UV targeting sensor. On top of that, these bees can be programmed to only work with specific crops.
However, Harvard’s official website has stated that this isn’t a long term solution to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) and the crop failure crisis,
“If robots were used for pollination it would only be as a stop-gap measure while a solution to CCD is implemented to restore natural pollinators.”
So if these Robobees are not meant to solve the CCD crisis, then what could be their alternative purpose? It’s interesting to note some other ‘practical’ applications of the Robobees which Harvard lists on their website:
·        search and rescue (e.g., in the aftermath of a natural disaster);
·        hazardous environment exploration;
·        military surveillance;
·        high resolution weather and climate mapping; and
·        traffic monitoring.
Need I say more?
We want to hear your thoughts on the Robobees, share with us below!

X DARPA Director & Google Exec Pushes Microchipping Human Beings

With the recent revelations by NSA whistle blower Edward Snowden, it’s no secret that we live on a planet characterized by mass surveillance and virtually zero privacy. We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with the idea that we face threats, that a high level of national security is needed in order to keep us safe. Think about it, the United States pumps a large majority of their money into the Department of Defense. A state of fear, war and terror is needed to keep those funds flowing in that direction. Many people are starting to wake up and realize a lot of the so called threats we face and have been facing are largely manufactured and fabricated in order to justify a specific agenda, agendas that deal with the black budgetworld.
“It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own backyard.  It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars  allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects which both congress and the commander in chief know nothing about” - Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defense Minister (source)
It doesn’t stop there, remember when credit and debit cards changed into one with a chip? That could be you in a few years as multiple corporations are pushing to microchip the human race. In fact, microchip implants in humans are already on the market. For example, an American company called Applied Digital Solutions (ADS) has developed one approximately the size of a grain of rice, and has already had it approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for distribution and implementation. (1)
Below is a video of  DARPA director and Google Executive Regina Dugan promoting the idea of microchipping humans.
Ask yourself, what if this becomes a requirement for authentication and identification? To withdraw money or go to the grocery store? Would you do it?
These microchips would be implanted under the skin, and allow the wearer’s movements to be tracked and store personal information about them. This kind of reminds us of George Orwell’s “Big Brother” police state doesn’t it?
According to a report drawn up by a team of academics for (then) Britain’s Information Commissioner Richard Thomas in 2006, within the next couple of years our almost every movement, purchase and communication could be monitored by a complex network of interlinking surveillance technologies (if it isn’t already). (2)
This isn’t about safety and national security, it’s about controlling the human population even more so than it is today. We live in the illusion of freedom where our potential as a human race to create something better is not wanted. We spend our entire lives working and acquiring little pieces of paper to gather the necessities we need, and in doing so we become blind to what is really happening on, to, and around our planet.
Money should never come in the way of necessity, and we have the potential to create a world where everybody’s needs are provided for. From that place of freedom, just imagine what we can do. We have the potential, and we have the power to do it, we just have to open our eyes and realize it’s possible. Those who monitor us so closely don’t really want to see us thrive, and it seems that they don’t really care about us.
The power does not lie with them, it lies with us. At any time we can choose to wake up and change the way we do things here on the planet. Not many people are resonating with the state of our world today and more people are starting to realize that we can do something about it.

How I lost my teeth

I was in the Texas Rose last night, at the bar waiting for a beer, when a butt-ugly, big old heifer came up behind me, and slapped me on the ass.

She said, "Hey sexy, how about giving me your number!

I looked at her and said, "Have you got a pen?"

She said, "I sure do."

I said, " Well, you better get back into it before the farmer notices you're missing."

My dental surgery is on Monday.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A week before her high school graduation, Saira Blair was barely old enough to vote when she unseated a West Virginia lawmaker almost four times her age.
After Tuesday’s GOP primary, the 17-year-old is one election away from becoming the youngest state lawmaker in West Virginia history. Larry Swan, sworn in as a 20-year-old delegate in 1972, set the current record.
Blair’s birthday is in July, so she would just meet the 18-year-old minimum age for West Virginia House of Delegates members. Seventeen-year-olds who will turn 18 by the November election can vote in West Virginia’s primary.
Soft-spoken and on-message, Blair is a churchgoer who says she is pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun rights and pro-business. She can rattle off a laundry list ofbusinesses taxes she wants abolished or lowered.
“People saw that you don’t need to wait until you are 40, 50 or 60 to realize our conservative principles are beneficial to everyone,” the Martinsburg teen said of her primary win.
Blair also has family experience on her side. Her electrician father, Craig Blair, is a state senator who once held the House seat she is seeking.
The teenager has more on her mind than stump speeches. She graduates from Hedgesville High School next Wednesday. Then she’ll head to West Virginia University in the fall to pursue economics and Spanish degrees. She says finance is her field of choice.
Blair will skip spring classes if she clinches the Eastern Panhandle seat, since lawmakers convene for business in Charleston from January to March. The two-year House gig pays a $20,000 annual salary, plus per diem.
Only about 150 votes separated Blair from Republican Del. Larry Kump in the Eastern Panhandle primary, according to unofficial results. But midterm turnout was dismal: Only about 1,600 votes were cast in the 59th House District.
Friends in her high school class of 400 helped wave signs at polling places. She rallied some toregister to vote. Blair also spent $4,900 and had a $2,300 loan, compared to Kump’s $1,840 in spending.
“Quite frankly, she out-campaigned me,” said Kump, 67, finishing his second House term. “It was a low voter turnout election and she won.”
Blair’s conservative platform meshes with her Eastern Panhandle community, a GOP stronghold filled with Washington, D.C., commuters.
Kump espoused his own brand of quirky conservatism. He sat in the Democratic House’s back row with a yellow “Don’t tread on me” flag on his desk. He occasionally tapped into his inner Dr. Seuss and delivered rhymes in opposition to bills he considered government intrusion.
He also wanted the Eastern Panhandle to return to Virginia, which Blair opposed.
Blair has attended GOP meetings with her dad since the sixth grade and volunteers with various groups. She skipped senior prom to participate in a Youth in Government meeting in Charleston.
“She has never had a curfew or anything like that,” Craig Blair said. “As long as you’re performing to the best of your ability, I don’t make rules for her.”
Blair’s Democratic opponent, 44-year-old lawyer Layne Diehl, said that it’s positive that the teen won the primary, despite their differing views.

“She certainly has taken on this challenge and I think that she’s up to it,” Diehl said.

30 Million Patriots on the Mall

So I went into DC today to see what 30 million people looked like. I was on the Mall for Obama's first inauguration along with 2 Million other people. At the inauguration, the sea of people was wall-to-wall from the Capitol to the Washington Monument and with the crowd scattered all the way back to the Lincoln Memorial. So I thought this would be, by far, the largest human gathering in the history of the planet, with the crowd blanketing the city and extending all the way to the Pentagon. However, it appears that the bulk of the projected attendees went, instead, to the Mall of the Americas, because they certainly did not show up in DC.
The first picture is of the demonstration at the White House. There were 12 people there.
The second picture is of a crowd marching from the Washington Monument to an area on the Mall in front of the American History Museum.
The organizers were allocated approximately 1 block to accommodate their 30 Million. Also, they would have had to take out a permit. This size of space would have required a permit for only 5k - 10K people.
I used the counting tool in Photoshop to sample the size of the march in the photo. I have the crowd at about 300 people.
If you do the math, you will find that only 1 in 100K of the people expected actually showed up. That is one ten thousandth of one percent of the number the organizers were claiming.
Certainly a few more will show up - maybe as many as a thousand! But it is unlikely to be enough to arrest Obama and overthrow the government in an act of "patriotism". Such an assault on the government would seem to be more of an act of treason, which is pretty much the opposite of patriotism. But never fear - It was all just another teabagger wet dream wildly divergent from reality, rooted in ignorance, and based on a staggering level of innumeracy.
