Richard welcomes a former insider at the World
Bank, ex-Senior Counsel Karen Hudes, who says the global financial system is
dominated by a small group of corrupt, power-hungry figures centered around
the privately owned U.S. Federal Reserve. The network has seized control of
the media to cover up its crimes, too, she explained. In an interview with The
New American, Hudes said that when she tried to blow the whistle on
multiple problems at the World Bank, she was fired for her efforts. Now,
along with a network of fellow whistleblowers, Hudes is determined to expose
and end the corruption. On 13 May 2013 Hudes, who reported improper accounting at the World Bank, and threats against members of the Board of Executive Directors, was arrested for trespass in the World Bank headquarters building, handcuffed, left for one hour in a police vehicle outside the building, and thrown into jail. Hudes was terminated and retaliated against after she reported on a scheme to takeover the second largest bank of the Philippines and an underhanded effort by the World Bank to cover-up rampant corruption and a subsequent bailout of the looted bank totaling $500 million. Financial corruption and fraud at the World Bank and the IMF are normal business practices. Most people are kept in the dark because the establishment media refuses to report on endemic corruption and fraud at the international financial institution. |
