Every year, between 120-150 political leaders and experts from industry, finance, academia and the media are invited to take part in the conference. About two thirds of the participants come from Europe and the rest from North America; one third from politics and government and the rest from other fields.
The conference has always been a forum for informal, off-the-record discussions about megatrends and the major issues facing the world. Thanks to the private nature of the conference, the participants are not bound by the conventions of office or by pre-agreed positions. As such, they can take time to listen, reflect and gather insights.
There is no detailed agenda, no resolutions are proposed, no votes are taken, and no policy statements are issued.

I've seen this list posted on several sites now over the past few days, and not too long ago there was a list posted on numerous sites regarding attendees from previous years. I can't decide if the most interesting part about this year's list is who is on it, or who is not. Just some food for thought for everybody out there and curious about what other people think.

Unelected, self-appointed leaders of the world. Don't ordinary folk have a say in how the planet is run? Their lust for power and money not to mention the madness caused by hubris is off the charts. What has Bilderberg given to planet earth and its inhabitants? Agenda 21, lies, military economies and police states, death and suffering, weapons of mass destruction, chemtrails, increasing radio-activity, HAARP, weaponized scalar wave technology, damage to the Earths crust and educational, economic and political devices meant to fail mankind. Bilderberg, Committee of 300 in broad daylight continues to plot and plan the suppression of mankind and technologies that would allow human civilization to truly enter the golden age. Let us not give our minds and energy to Bilderberg but continue to pursue peace, true justice and abundance for all.
