We have been advised that no one should post IN PUBLIC what the rates are you are getting with the Special Wells Fargo Private Exchange. You are welcome to share the 800 number with any and all of your family and friends but do not post it in PUBLIC.

If we are indeed signing an NDA. Then it is best to abide by the terms.

If you do not like the terms...by all means do not sign and take your business to someone you are comfortable with.

Noone is forcing anyone to sign an NDA or exchange somewhere they are not happy with. You make your own choice.
Sincerely:
Dinar Recaps

800 # is available not the rate. Play smart, beside all of the above why do you want to announce your windfall to the rest of the world. Take you money and run.
They can locate your IP address in seconds, your phone if you text even they can locate your printer (even if you are using wired printer). Believe it or not.
Just play smart. Keep your money, yourself and your family safe. PERIOD.
JMHO.

WOW ... we were told by the head of the NSA in testimony before Congress, that the NSA did not have this monitoing technology and capability. I am shocked! Almost as much as I was when I learned that "gambling" was going on in the back room at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca ...

Great post and agree with all-except question how a NDA between a private bank and customer could lead to wire fraud criminal charge in circumstance described

Will try and answer my own question- see federal crime possible if in fact there is a treaty between China and USA regarding the WF transaction. That may bring it into criminal realm. Good news if theory correct is that lends support to the whole China-USA-WF setup. Bad news- don't take any chances. Other thoughts??

Again ..

Exactly. That and the fact that you can't always just pull an IP address and have it take you to within three feet of a person's computer. If the IP traces directly to the source, it's not three feet, it's more like three centimeters but often, you have one IP that get's subnetted out at a firewall and that IP was auto generated at the server level behind the firewall so the three feet thing is no more than an internet myth at best.

Right now if you were to trace my IP it would miss by a couple of thousand miles as that is where the server in use is located.
Again ..

KevinD53,

That is exactly what I am talking about. Now, a much deeper investigation may be able to track that back but at what cost? It's just way more complex than this "3 feet" rule posted here.

I hope people take heed but you will soon see comments coming in with the arguments and "I don't see who would know if I told" and " I don't think this is fair" and on and on will be their justifications for breaking the NDA.
I see it in chat and comments
But "a fool and their money are soon parted"

Now you people have it straight from someone who knows and there will be no excuse for not knowing better. Your choice

My understanding is that a "claw back" is for bonuses (NOT salary) paid over time and the company decides, due to poor performance to take some or all of the bonus money back. This has nothing to do with a legal currency exchange of my own funds.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clawback

Also, if you browse the internet using a proxy server, the website server will get the IP address of the proxy and not your local IP address. Sure, EVENTUALLY they could probably track you down after court orders and search warrants are executed. But, if you're using a proxy in a foreign country (which many are) it'll be a lot harder.

I think the ONLY real repercussion is violating your NDA once (and if) they find you.

People, you know what? You don't have to sign ANYthing you don't want to. It's worth it to accept a less rate if it gains me the control of MY money, My mouth, and My future which I can oversee and not worry about the friggin' bank loosing it, government taking it, etc. Think and pray about the benefits of freedom!

carats vs carrots
07/30/2013 11:05am
Well said, carats. If you want the "highest" rate, go for the 800 # and all its restrictions. (I remember back in the day when the group rate was to guarantee that all members, regardless of the quantity of their IQD, would be given the same rate. The old bait and switch!) Well, that's okay, maybe the "highest" rate is indeed the highest rate, but how will you ever know having signed your rights away to comparing notes?

If you go that route, understand there are consequences. They may be worth it to you. Only you can decide that. But don't give into the bullying attitude that seems to prevail with the "Just DO it!" crowd. Do your own homework and know what you're signing away before you decide the carrot they are dangling is worth what you're giving up. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Amen to that! Very well said! Some people may want the highest exchange rate but along with that will be restrictions as stated above and maybe some unknown until the actual c/e (signing NDA). Thank The Lord we have choices!

AMEN! Hopefully people will understand just how serious this
is. It's not worth the risk of loosing everything you have worked
toward, just to be the one to 'tell' the rate.

Wow, with all the debt problems this country has, it's a shame that our tax dollars are wasted on Government federal agents "monitoring" these sites. What possible valid reason is there to be doing such a thing??? Why would it be sooo important to be watching us??? It's a sad waste of money IMO. There are many more important issues in our country where those tax dollars should be put to better use.

Well hopefully Recaps will sensor all emails from the handful of KNOTHEADS that don't have the self control to show some common sense.

As for me. I intend to be like that little church mouse in the corner of the dimly lit room.

I plan on moving my own cheese.
Thank you very much.

First off, unless someone has specifically seen the terms of the NDA, hard for them to print in black and white the actual penalties. As well, anyone GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (I am one) will tell you that an IP address CAN NOT be tracked within three feet just from the IP alone. Whoever's investigating may have to a company if the user is using a company machine and get either a subpoena or permission to inspect not just the company firewall but their server and network infrastructure and even then, if using dynamic IP addressing, it may still not be possible to track it down. The IP the investigator will have will just get them to the company itself. Ever notice if you get banned from a site if using a company computer that EVERY computer may in that company may be banned as well? That's why.

Now, another question I would have is this. Would WF, being a private corporation, really have that much cooperation from the federal government to conduct this investigation? I mean, they would need the feds to help with subpoenas, the aforementioned surveillance video, and so on to track down INDIVIDUALS not to mention, if you have moved your money out of WF, then they need federal permission to go into another private banking institution and "claw back" your money out of that institution which certainly wouldn't make that bank all too happy either.

Personally, I know there is some seriousness to the nature of this but too much of this sounds like a scare tactic to me. Like look at punishment number 2. Federal wire fraud charges? Seriously? The charge doesn't line up with the crime at all so how would it apply. Study the charge and tell me where it lines up.

I hope this gets posted because there is a lot to this post that doesn't add up even though the actual subject is a serious one for sure.

As a certified security expert....I would advise you to go back and listen VERY closely to what Glenn Greenwald said in his interview on ABC News This Week with George Stephanopoulos this past Sunday. With current NSA technology the federal government CAN and WILL do whatever they want in terms of surveillance whether it be legally sanctioned or otherwise. If they want to come after you they will find a way to get around the traditional legal channels. They have been at this for a long time and have people in very high positions (above and beyond the pay grade of our elected government officials) that sanction this behavior. Edward Snowden has made a lot of folks VERY nervous.

Well, peeps if there IS a "clawback" it would HAVE to be fully detailed as such in the NDA. THEREFORE, be sure to read and RE-READ the NDA VERY CAREFULLY before you sign it, IF you sign it, that is. If nothing like a clawback is written in the NDA, then be sure to ask about it first. The NDA is a CONTRACT. All terms and conditions MUST be in the written contract. Maybe this is justification for taking your attorney with you to the ce.

I believe Tony's call discussed rates at other banks..... In terms of their competiveness.

That said, why would anyone sign a piece of paper that could potentially risk their long awaited windfall. It only takes a false accusation to have your funds tied up, is that right?
This whole NDA requirement is very unusual, especially when there are no restrictions on who can be in the group.
I wish, without the threats, this would be explained better, least someone makes the wrong conclusion.

Definition of 'Clawback'

Money or benefits that are distributed and then taken back as a result of special circumstances.

Purchasing certain investments provides taxable benefits contingent upon holding periods. When you sell these investments before they have reached maturity, the benefits must be returned.

Ok been working on networks along time if you post form your home compute u will be traceable but it u post from free wifi connection your ip will trace back to a public ip with hundreds of users everyday as long as you do not login to the wifi with account info like a xfinity wifi. There are also several ways to make you ip different than what it really is. If you have the knowledge it is very very doable that said I am not going to test it too much to lose

kind a looks like here are people that have never had the pleasure of nesting at the grey bar hotel , the NDA was to be signed by all
that bank people , the bank president the customer who had the currency everyone not just one , the bank people signed a non discourser when they went to work , you will sign one that says , keep your lips buttoned , so you do not sink your own ship , unless you want to loose every thing your have . family home money extra I've see people loose everything they had for just looking stupid and chewing bubblegum .just remember where you live ,
when you think something cannot happen well guess what it surly will and it will be you it's happening to , besides its nobody's business , what you get , its about you not them .

YOU get to make the choice of signing or not. If you do it is a legal document. And you can parse words all day long (Just like Bill Clinton did) but it won't change the facts. If you sign an NDA then take your money and SHUT UP. Don't screw it up for others because you think you are smarter than the banks lawyers. As was said -- you can't fix stupid.

18 USC § 1343 - Fraud by wire, radio, or television:

Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If the violation occurs in relation to, or involving any benefit authorized, transported, transmitted, transferred, disbursed, or paid in connection with, a presidentially declared major disaster or emergency (as those terms are defined in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122)), or affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.

NOT SEEING HOW THIS LAW WOULD EVEN BEGIN TO APPLY TO AN NDA VIOLATION, JMHO
I ALSO AGREE THAT IP TRACKING WILL NOT PRODUCE RESULTS OF "3 FEET" AS CLAIMED.

CLEARLY THERE IS JUST CAUSE TO HONOR ANY NDA YOU SIGN, AND THERE ARE LIABILITIES WHICH WILL BE FACED IF YOU VIOLATE SUCH AN AGREEMENT HOWEVER, INVALID OR INACCURATE SCARE TACTICS DOES MORE HARM THAN GOOD WHEN TRYING TO EXPRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF SUCH MATTERS.

Episode 80: Carne Ross on the Occupy Money Cooperative

Carne Ross is a former British diplomat, founder of Independent Diplomacy and author of 'The Leaderless

Revolution'. In 2004, he gave secret evidence to a British inquiry about Iraq pre-war intelligence. His damning

testimony brought into question the alleged Iraqi threat, the legality of the war, and acknowledged the refusal of
