The South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) is an area where the Earth's inner Van Allen radiation belt comes closest to the Earth's surface dipping down to an altitude of 200 km (124 mi). This leads to an increased flux of energetic particles in this region and exposes orbiting satellites to higher-than-usual levels of radiation. The effect is caused by the non-concentricity of the Earth and its magnetic dipole, and the SAA is the near-Earth region where the Earth's magnetic field is weakest relative to an idealized Earth-centered dipole field.

Position and shape


The Van Allen radiation belts are symmetric about the Earth's magnetic axis, which is tilted with respect to the Earth's rotational axis by an angle of approximately 11 degrees. The intersection between the magnetic and rotation axes of the Earth is located not at the Earth's centre, but some 500 kilometres (300 mi) further north. Because of this asymmetry, the inner Van Allen belt is closest to the Earth's surface over the south Atlantic ocean where it dips down to 200 km (124 mi) altitude, and farthest from the Earth's surface over the north Pacific ocean.[2]

One reason for the variation is that if we represent the Earth's magnetism by a bar magnet of small size but strong intensity ("magnetic dipole"), the best description is obtained by placing that magnet not at the center of Earth but some distance away from it, more or less in the direction of Singapore. 

As a result, over South America and the south Atlantic, near Singapore's antipodal point, the magnetic field is relatively weak, resulting in a lower repulsion to trapped particles of the radiation belts here, and as a result these particles reach deeper into the upper atmosphere than they otherwise would.[3]

The shape of the SAA changes over time. Since its initial discovery in 1958,[4] the southern limits of the SAA have remained roughly constant while a long-term expansion has been measured to the northwest, the north, the northeast, and the east. Additionally, the shape and particle density of the SAA varies on a diurnal basis, with greatest particle density corresponding roughly to local noon. 

At an altitude of approximately 500 km (300 mi), the SAA spans from −50° to 0° geographic latitude and from −90° to +40° longitude.[5] 

The highest intensity portion of the SAA drifts to the west at a speed of about 0.3 degrees per year, and is noticeable in the references listed below. The drift rate of the SAA is very close to the rotation differential between the Earth's core and its surface, estimated to be between 0.3 and 0.5 degrees per year.

Current literature suggests that a slow weakening of the geomagnetic field is one of several causes for the changes in the borders of the SAA since its discovery. As the geomagnetic field continues to weaken, the inner Van Allen belt gets closer to the Earth, with a commensurate enlargement of the SAA at given altitudes.[citation needed]

Effects

The South Atlantic Anomaly is of great significance to astronomical satellites and other spacecraft that orbit the Earth at several hundred kilometers altitude; these orbits take satellites through the anomaly periodically, exposing them to several minutes of strong radiation, caused by the trapped protons in the inner Van Allen belt. The International Space Station, orbiting with an inclination of 51.6°, requires extra shielding to deal with this problem. The Hubble Space Telescope does not take observations while passing through the SAA.[6] 
Astronauts are also affected by this region which is said to be the cause of peculiar 'shooting stars' (phosphenes) seen in the visual field of astronauts.[7] Passing through the South Atlantic Anomaly is thought[8] to be the reason for the early failures of the Globalstar network's satellites.

The PAMELA experiment, while passing through the SAA, detected antiproton levels that were orders of magnitude higher than expected. This suggests the Van Allen belt confines antiparticles produced by the interaction of the Earth's upper atmosphere with cosmic rays.[9]

NASA has reported that modern laptops have crashed when space shuttle flights passed through the anomaly.[10] In October 2012, the SpaceX CRS-1 Dragon spacecraft attached to the International Space Station experienced a transient problem as it passed through the anomaly.[11]

    IS there a 'good' FBI agent SOME WHERE for REAL?


    BREAKING!  FBI REVEALS THEIR PLAN TO STOP OBAMA IF HE INTERFERES WITH HILLARY INDICTMENT!!!




    The FBI is just about ready to recommend an indictment on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her private email scandal and is prepared to make the details of its investigation public if the attorney general refuses to pursue the case.

    At least that is the word that unnamed sources in the FBI recently gave to former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, according to Newsmax. “I have friends that are in the FBI and they tell me they’re ready to indict,” 

    DeLay told the host of “The Steve Malzburg Show” on Monday. “They’re ready to recommend an indictment and they also say that if the attorney general does not indict, they’re going public.”

    The FBI is investigating the possibility that presumptive Democrat presidential nominee’s use of a private email server to conduct official government business led to classified information being stored on an unauthorized and unsecured system.
     
    However, though there appears to be mountains of evidence strongly suggesting wrongdoing on the part of Hillary Clinton and her team, there is nevertheless a fear that the increasingly partisan Obama Justice Department will refuse to indict or pursue a conviction in an effort to cover up their complicit corruption and spare a fellow Democrat from accountability.

    The FBI threat of publicly releasing incriminating evidence appears to be a bid at keeping Obama’s Justice Department honest and in line with the rule of law.  “One way or another, either she’s going to be indicted and that process begins, or we try her in the public eye with her campaign. One way or another she’s going to have to face these charges,” declared DeLay.

    Hopefully the former House majority leader is correct, and the FBI is about to hand down a recommendation for an indictment of Hillary Clinton. As to leaking incriminating information if the DOJ refuses to push forward with the case, let us hope it doesn’t come to that.

    The world is slowly waking up to the fact that fluoride, a by-product of the phosphate fertilizer industry, wreaks havoc on the brain and body. Despite peer-reviewed scientific evidence against it, fluoride is still added to 70 percent of U.S. public drinking water supplies.

    What’s more is that processed beverages and food, tea, and even bottled water contain fluoride. That’s right, many popular brands of bottled water have a known neurotoxin added to them.

    It’s no wonder that dental fluorosis has skyrocketed in the U.S. over the past 60 years (image right). Dental fluorosis is a side effect of fluoride ingestion that typically effects children.     Additionally, the aforementioned peer-reviewed evidence against fluoride includes a recent publication in the world renowned, weekly peer-reviewed Medical Journal, the Lancet. This report classifies fluoride as a neurotoxin and concludes that it notably decreases the IQ of children.

     

    Fluoride is a toxic waste from the phosphate fertilizer industry


    In the 1950’s it was determined that phosphate factories emitted toxic gases that were destroying the environment. Crops were scorched, destroyed, and cattle became crippled. Chemical and environmental engineers were employed with the task of filtering this toxic waste so that it would not escape into the atmosphere.

    My former chemistry professor was once one of these engineers and would often reminisce of his days developing and designing what the industry later referred to as scrubbers. Scrubbers were installed to filter out this toxic waste thus protecting communities from harmful gases that when leached into the atmosphere would destroy their health and ecosystem. But were citizens ultimately being protected?

    Chances are that you are currently a victim of the industry’s fluoride emissions although you may not live anywhere near a phosphate plant. For you see, when the scrubbers clean these emissions, hydrofluorosilicic acid, a classified hazardous waste is collected and barreled up. It is then sold to communities across America to be added to the public water supply as the primary fluoride chemical for water fluoridation.

    Of course many people know this disturbing fact and avoid drinking from the tap. But what if I told you that the very water you’re spending a pretty penny on to avoid fluoridation, is too fluoridated. You might be surprised which brands contain fluoride, but when you see who owns them it will all make sense.

    IMF recommends governments confiscate citizens’ assets

    The United States has an official national debt of a mind-boggling $18.93+ trillion.  The national debts of other countries are even worse.

    The debt-to-GDP ratio is a measure of a country’s debt compared to its economic output, which is calculated by dividing its national debt by its GDP, which is the total output of all goods and services of a country and is the primary measure of economic growth or the lack thereof. To illustrate, if the national debt is $1.5 million and the GDP is $1 million, then the debt-to-GDP ratio is:
    $1.5m ÷ $1m = 150%

    Here are the top 7 worst countries in debt-as-a-%-of- GDP as of September 2014 (Forbes):
    1. Japan: 227.2%
    2. Greece: 175.1%
    3. Italy: 132.6%
    4. Portugal: 129%
    5. Singapore: 105.5%
    6. USA: 101.5%
    7. Belgium: 101.5%
    As you can see from the table below, all 7 countries got worse in the 10 years since 2004:

    When your debt exceeds your GDP, the prospects of ever paying off that debt are near non-existent, unless the country experiences a sudden and enormous burst of economic productivity.

    The debt situation is so dire that in 2013, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) recommended to indebted governments not just higher taxes, but confiscation of citizens’ assets.

    More perversely still, the IMF’s recommendation of assets-seizure is intended merely to make the national debt “sustainable,” not to actually pay off the debt.

    Note: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an international organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., of “188 countries working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world."

    Formed in 1944 at theBretton Woods Conference, it came into formal existence in 1945 with 29 member countries and the goal of reconstructing the international payment system. Countries contribute funds to a pool through a quota system from which countries experiencing balance-of-payments difficulties can borrow money.

    As of 2010, the IMF fund had about US$755.7 billion. Since July 2011, the IMF’s managing director is a French politician named Christine Lagarde.

    Bill Frezza reports for Forbes, Oct. 15, 2013, that in its October Fiscal Monitor report Taxing Times, the IMF paints a dire picture for advanced economies with high debts that fail to aggressively “mobilize domestic revenue."

    The IMF recommends that drastic measures are called for, from increasing income and consumption taxes to the direct confiscation of assets in the form of a “capital levy” — a “one-off tax” of about 10%, not on the super rich, but on all households with “positive net worth,"
    i.e., everyone with retirement savings or home equity.

    The IMF counsels that it’s best that such a tax be “implemented before avoidance is possible and there is a belief that it will never be repeated,” never mind the fact that high earners have been forking over more money, a higher percentage of their gross income, and a larger share of aggregate national tax revenue in recent years.

    Amazingly, the IMF regards this confiscation of at least 10% of all private “wealth” to be merely “an exceptional measure to restore debt sustainability,” which means:
    1. The IMF knows there are not enough rich people to fund today’s spend-thrift governments.
    2. Confiscation of private property will not pay off national debts, but will merely “restore debt sustainability,” allowing free-spending politicians to keep borrowing.
    Should politicians fail to muster the courage to engage in this kind of wholesale robbery, the IMF posits public debt repudiation and hyperinflation as the only alternative scenario. In other words, the IMF does not and will not consider structural reforms of the Ponzi-scheme entitlement programs that are bankrupting the United States.

    Forbes opined that “If ever there were a roadmap for prompting massive capital flight and emigration of productive citizens toward capitalism’s nascent frontiers in Asia, this is it.” But the IMF has already anticipated that with a suggestion on how governments can restrict the mobility of the rich:
    “Financial wealth is mobile, and so, ultimately, are people. … There may be a case for taxing different forms of wealth differently according to their mobility … Substantial progress likely requires enhanced international cooperation to make it harder for the very well-off to evade taxation by placing funds elsewhere.“

    BURNS, Ore. — A small group of holdouts continued the tense standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, one day after eight others abandoned the site as federal, state and local authorities tightened their grip on the armed occupation.

    Protester David Fry says he and the four others who remain at the refuge are willing to leave if none are criminally charged.

    Duane Leo Ehmer, 45, of Irrigon, Ore., and Dylan Wade Anderson, 34, of Provo, Utah, and Jason S. Patrick, 43, of Bonaire, Ga., were arrested Wednesday at check points manned by the FBI and Oregon State Police, the FBI said. Five others were not arrested.

    Protest leader Ammon Bundy and seven other 'occupiers' also were arrested earlier this week in the 'standoff' that began Jan. 2 as a protest against 'federal management of local land'.  Each faces one federal felony charge of "conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats."

    The maximum penalty for a conviction is six years in prison. Oregon criminal defense lawyer Kevin Sali (a TRAITOR and agent for the BAR, the Vati-CON, the queen of England and the United Nations/NATO/UN/NWO) said 'protesters' could face more charges in the near future.  (Say what??!!  For WHAT reason?)  "This is a comparatively mild charge considering what has happened." 

    (What the he*l happened?!  The protestors/militia simply tried several times to negotiate with the FBI and Oregon judge and sheriff based on the Constitution while the criminal cabal planned an ambush and the deliberate murder of at least one and the intention of harming and arresting many other unarmed non- threatening protestors. It is NOT the protestors who committed wrongs - but the U.S.A. corporation via the BLM and the FBI thugs along with Oregon sheriff and judge who should be arrested, tried for treason and hung at the gallows along with Harry Reid and the Clintons.)

    Sali, who is not directly involved in the case, told USA TODAY. "It is fairly common for prosecutors to file a basic charge to get people in the system, in this case in custody, while they gather more evidence and work out legal theories."

    Bruce Huber, a Notre Dame law professor who specializes in natural resources, said the efforts of the protesters are not likely to result in major policy changes for managing the nation's 700 million acres of public land. But the protest may prompt an effort by 'federal land managers' to address frustrations at the local level.

    "Managers .... may feel pressure, in light of the standoff, to avoid imposing grazing restrictions or collecting on overdue fees, for example," Huber said. "Individual managers do have a fair amount of discretion under federal law."

    Bundy, 40, was one of six 'protesters' stopped Tuesday at a roadblock 20 miles from the refuge. 

    Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, 55, a soft-spoken but defiant - standing up for the people's Constitutional rights - and a Arizona rancher, UNARMED, was AMBUSHED AND MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD IN FRONT OF WITNESSES - INCLUDING ONE OF HIS DAUGHTERS - SHOT 3 TIMES IN THE FACE AND AT LEAST AN ADDITIONAL 6 TIMES IN HIS BODY AND KILLED. 



    'Officials' - THE MURDERERS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT WITNESSES  - refused to provide details, but his identity was confirmed by his family (daughter?). Bundy and the other four 'protesters' were taken into custody.

    FBI agents are not generally equipped with body cameras, but video of the incident involving Finicum was captured by accompanying law enforcement, an official familiar with the matter said Thursday. The official was not authorized to comment publicly.

    'Authorities' were debating late Thursday whether to provide more details about the confrontation that led to Finicum’s fatal shooting. (Reportedly there was NO CONFRONTATION on the part of the 'protestors'; the FBI et al carried out the outright ambush and MURDER of FINICUM) 
     
    On Wednesday, Bundy urged his followers to leave the refuge, saying the fight "is ours for now in the courts. Please go home."

    Those arrested Tuesday included the Bundy of Emmett, Idaho, and his brother Ryan, 43, of Bunkerville, Nev., along with Brian Cavalier, 44, of Bunkerville;  Shawna Cox, 59, of Kanab, Utah; and Ryan Waylen Payne, 32, of Anaconda, Mont. 

    Also arrested at separate locations in Burns, Ore. near the refuge were Pete Santilli, host of a conservative online radio show and Joseph Donald O'Shaughnessy, 45, of Cottonwood, Ariz.

    Jon Eric Ritzheimer, 32, was arrested after turning himself into police in Peoria, Ariz.


    Three weeks after a group of 'armed protestors' occupied a wildlife refuge in Oregon, the FBI and Oregon State Police moved in to arrest them. VPC

    Bundy is the son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who was involved in a high-profile 2014 standoff with the 'government' over grazing rights. The elder Bundy said the fatal shooting of Finicum and the arrests should be a "wake-up call to America."

    "This is a total disaster to be happening in America, where we have federal people killing innocent people," he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "My sons were there to do good."

    Comment by Groundlocked Thursday, Jan 28 2016, 05:24PM  -  Very interesting, yet not surprising if you've participated in Indigenous ceremonies, where there is engagement with these non-physical entities. The fact that they're hanging out around human installations shows that they are aware of our existence, or attracted to something we give off. According to medicine people, the dark entities are like vampires, feeding off negative emotions, and the light entities are like angels, providing inspiration and energy to people doing positive work. Some people have seen these things, under certain conditions. If we go to ET lore, the telescope may be picking up on another dimension or phase shift of our reality, in which case there are stories of lizard beings working through "Grey aliens" and humans to instigate negative emotions. Perhaps they, like humans, require positive and negative energy sources (think Matrix) and we're just the renewable resource they've been using to fuel their societies...ironic, or just desserts?

We didn't know about cells before microscopes, x-rays before "readers", radio waves before radios, DNA and/or RNA and all that goes along with them before we "knew of their existence" and in fact we STILL do not know all there is to know about these structures, activities, interactions, etc., atomic activity before we had geiger counters and the list goes on and on. Remember that at one time in the past, "we" thought the Earth was flat!!!! To think that we "know all there is to know" today is totally crazy,,,,,,,,, just look at history. Just because "IT" doesn't make sense to us, with in our current knowledge base, doesn't preclude that "IT" is real. The link worked for me but I did have to klick it twice.

    Hillary Clinton’s Nightmare - The FBI investigation and her e-mails

    Hillary Clinton’s nightmare is not the sudden resurgence of Bernie Sanders. It is the fidelity to the rule of law of the FBI.

    The recent revelations of the receipt by Clinton of a Special Access Program email, as well as cut and pasted summaries of state secrets on her server and on her BlackBerry nearly guarantee that the FBI will recommend that the Department of Justice convene a grand jury and seek her indictment for espionage. Here is the backstory.

    It seems that every week, more information comes to light about Clinton’s grave legal woes. Her worries are in two broad categories: One is her well-documented failure to safeguard state secrets and the other is her probable use of her position as secretary of state to advance financially her husband’s charitable foundation. 

    FBI is currently and aggressively investigating both. What I will describe below is in the state secrets category. It is apparently not new to the FBI, but it is new to the public.

    Among the data that the FBI either found on the Clinton server or acquired from the State Department via its responses to Freedom of Information Act requests is a top-secret email that has been denominated Special Access Program. Top secret is the highest category of state secrets (the other categories are confidential and secret), and of the sub-parts of top secret, SAP is the most sensitive.

    SAP is clothed in such secrecy that it cannot be received or opened accidentally. Clinton – who ensured all of her governmental emails came to her through her husband’s server, a nonsecure nongovernmental venue – could only have received or viewed it from that server after inputting certain codes. Those codes change at unscheduled times, such that she would need to inquire of them before inputting them.

    The presence of the SAP-denominated email on her husband’s server, whether opened or not, shows a criminal indifference to her lawful obligation to maintain safely all state secrets entrusted to her care. Yet, Clinton has suggested that she is hopelessly digitally inept and may not have known what she was doing. 

    This constitutes an attempted plausible deniability to the charge of failing to safeguard state secrets.  But in this sensitive area of the law, plausible deniability is not an available defense; no judge would permit the assertion of it in legal filings or in a courtroom, and no lawyer would permit a client to make the assertion.

    This is so for two reasons. First, failure to safeguard state secrets is a crime for which the government need not prove intent. The failure can be done negligently. Thus, plausible deniability is actually an admission of negligence and, hence in this case, an admission of guilt, not a denial.

    Second, Clinton signed an oath under penalty of perjury on Jan. 22, 2009, her first full day as secretary of state. In that oath, she acknowledged that she had received a full FBI briefing on the lawfully required care and keeping of state secrets. Her briefing and her oath specified that the obligation to safeguard state secrets is absolute – it cannot be avoided or evaded by forgetfulness or any other form of negligence, and that negligence can bring prosecution.

    What type of data is typically protected by the SAP denomination? The most sensitive under the sun – such as the names of moles (spies working for more than one government) and their American handlers, the existence of black ops (illegal programs that the U.S. government carries out, of which it will deny knowledge if exposed), codes needed to access state secrets and ongoing intelligence gathering projects.

    The crime here occurs when SAPs are exposed by residing in a nonsecure venue; it does not matter for prosecution purposes whether they fell into the wrong hands.

    Clinton’s persistent mocking of the seriousness of all this is the moral equivalent of taunting alligators before crossing a stream. SAPs are so sensitive that most of the FBI agents who are investigating Clinton lack the security clearances needed to view the SAP found among her emails. Most FBI agents have never seen a SAP.

    Shortly after the presence of the SAP-denominated email was made known, the State Department released another email Clinton failed to erase wherein she instructed her subordinates to take state secrets from a secure venue, to cut and paste and summarize them, and send them to her on her nonsecure venue. Such an endeavor, if carried out, is a felony – masking and then not safeguarding state secrets. Such a command to subordinates can only come from a criminal mind.

    Equally as telling is a little-known 2013 speech that recently surfaced given by one of Clinton’s former subordinates. The aide revealed that Clinton and her staff regularly engaged in digital conversations about state secrets on their BlackBerries. This is not criminal if the BlackBerries were government-issued and secured. Clinton’s was neither. It was purchased at her instructions off the shelf by one of her staff.

    Can anyone doubt that Clinton has failed to safeguard state secrets? 

    If her name were Hillary Rodham instead of Hillary Rodham Clinton, she’d have been indicted months ago.

    What remains of the rule of law in America? 

    The FBI will soon tell us.

    While presenting it as a shift in President Obama’s mindset, Pentagon officials are talking up the idea that the US occupation of Afghanistan, which began in late 2001, is not just extended for a couple of additional years but will continue for several more decades, and for all intents and purposes may as well be permanent.

    “What we’ve learned is that you can’t really leave,” one Pentagon official was quoted in the Washington Post as insisting, while other officials openly talked about a “generational approach,” in which the US stays for generations more to create an entire new Afghanistan.

    Despite making some statements of aversion to “endless war,” Obama has never really appeared all that eager to end the Afghanistan occupation, and the end dates were always speculative dates set by NATO to give the impression the war was winding down.

    Yet all along, these end dates were based on the assumption of a nigh-miraculous improvement in the Afghan military that hasn’t happened yet, and it was always more or less assumed the date would just keep getting punted down the road until victory just sort of happens.

    The change isn’t that the US is staying, but that the Pentagon is doing away with the pretense of leaving in any measurable timeframe. 

    From the Afghan military’s widespread corruption to the growth of ISIS in the nation’s southeast, all the military talking points are now that the Afghans aren’t ready, but that these Afghans likely never will be.

    Instead, the shift toward “generational war” means measuring success a few decades down the road to see if the Pentagon can successfully rear the Afghan children being born today into the sort of pro-US warrior state that they’d feel comfortable turning back over to its population. If not, we just roll the dice on the next generation, and so on.

    As we discussed with Pope Benedict in 2008 and as we have kept you advised since then, the entire mechanism and basis of this fraud--- including the Medieval misinterpretation of the Afterbirth as a deformed dying child and the establishment of an infant decedant estate in their behalf---has been fully exposed.  The Holy See's culpability is evident in the Summa Theologica and manifest in the current circumstance.  
     
    The role of the Bar Associations, the Middle Temple especially in this instance, and the banks also is self-evident.  The privateers unleashed upon our trusting shores have wrecked their havoc and siphoned off our wealth for over a hundred years.  In those same hundred years Americans have loyally paid off immense sums of debt not their own and have preserved by industry and force of arms both the Papacy and the Monarchy; we are the Creditors in this situation and will not be obliged to accept any other role. 
     
    We would also appreciate your correction of the ongoing false arrest and imprisonment of millions of Americans who have been incarcerated for profit  by the UN Corp dba IMF dba UNITED STATES and the FEDERAL RESERVE and their respective "STATE" and "COUNTY" franchises.
