Justice Department won't pursue case against Holder

Justice Department won't pursue case against Holder

Updated 4:!6 p.m. - As expected, the Justice has informed Congress that the U.S. attorney will not prosecute Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt, despite Thursday's House vote.
"The longstanding position of the Department of Justice has been and remains that we will not prosecute an executive branch official under the contempt of Congress statute for withholding subpoenaed documents pursuant to a presidential assertion of executive privilege," says Deputy Attorney General James Cole in a letter to the House speaker, John Boehner.
The letter notes that during the Reagan administration, DOJ took the position that the contempt statute could not constitutionally be applied to an official who asserts the president's claim of executive privilege. That policy was first articulated in a memo written by Ted Olson when he was at DOJ in 1984.
Cole writes that the position has been asserted several times since then, most recently during the Bush administration in 2008.
He concludes by saying that the Justice Department has determined that Holder's response to the House committee subpoena "does not constitute a crime" and the Department will not refer the matter to a grand jury "or take any other action to prosecute the attorney general."

That's OK Att. Gen. James Cole and Att. Gen. Eric Holder....We take this into our own hands and handle this peacefully by passing this Omni Law, and sending it all around the country to all of our contacts. You will then be fired from your job, that we are paying for you to do. Both of you will lose your jobs. Someone who actually cares about the American people and America as a free nation will take your place.

If they can claim executive privalage so should all the little corporations the made out of the people. Since we are spending tax dollars to pay these criminals to withhold info then we should have that same right. I say we withhold their withholding taxes from our checks.

I'm 69 yr's old but I have children & grandchildren I don't want them to live as slaves "If" their allowed to live. Be a army of one. Resist the people you come in contact with don't waste your efforts on the big guys.

Each Justice Dept. official refusing to uphold the law should be summarily dismissed.
They should be prosecuted in the very criminal trial they are attempting to shield from justice.
They too are in contempt of congress and very likely guilty under RICO statutes.
Whoever gives or follows such an order is taking part in a criminal conspiracy.
Possibly an ongoing criminal enterprise.
Conviction under the RICO statute comes with a mandatory life sentence.

I'm guessing your republicans don't remember (or don't want to remember) a guy named Ollie North who sold drugs to buy arms for our enemies on behalf of then president Reagan? And then was pardoned by a republican president. Where was your rage then? oh yeah, you where cheering the drug dealer as a hero.. so shhhhhhhh

RICO was written by those guys for us not them. How many times do they have to thumb their nose at the law for you to understand this. The Declaration of independence and the Second Amendment is the only law. WE MUST ACT UPON IT. Be a army of one. Organize your minds and intentions, act separately RESIST!!
