Harwin Central Mall: The very first store that you come to when you walk from the lobby of the building into the shopping area had this sign posted on their door. The shop is run by Muslims.

This store owners reason for closure is offensive to all Americans and his ideology is suspect. What he doesn't realize is, he has bought lock, stock and barrel the media's slick package of propaganda. The media was in on the 911 con and even most Americans bought the nicely wrapped package.

More dogma, recently I saw a posting and tracked it to a conservative blog and propagation factory. It showed a picture of a store closed on September 11th to honor Imam Ali and gave the address of the store, stated that the Imam was the WTC terrorirst, and said there was a religious war against Muslims. The problem is, the entire thing is incorrect.

Imam is a title right? Like... Pastor, and Ali is a name... like... Smith. We need to be careful when spreading internet rumors around, especially a bigoted claim that could seriously affect the well-being of another human.

The 21st day of Ramadan is a celebration over the assassinated Imam Ali (which means Rabbi Ali) who died in the 7th century on the 21st day of Ramadan. Since the Islamic calendar is based on lunar months the holidays shift yearly, in 2009 this means that the 21st day of Ramadan was September 11th.

Ignorance is like fertile soil where fear and hate can be easily planted. Please educate yourselves about different cultures and religions, and gather information from as many sources as possible. News sources like Fox.prey on the profound ignorance of many Americans who have no knowledge about other religions and cultures.
