The 3 Pieces Of The Diverticulitis Solution Puzzle

The 3 Pieces Of The Diverticulitis Solution Puzzle

I'm told the abdominal pain from it is as bad a kidney stone and hits
you without warning.

It's also commonly accompanied by a fever, nausea, vomiting and a marked change in your bowel habits (usually intense diarrhea).
Oh, and you can have gas, bloating and rectal bleeding with it too.
"It" is diverticulitis.
And once you have your first attack of it, your life is forever changed.
Because once you get through the sheer misery of the symptoms plus the make-you-want-to-hurl antibiotics you're given, you begin to live each day after that in fear of another attack.
Will it happen again? What can I do? What should I eat?
Unfortunately, the mainstream medical community doesn't have many helpful answers to these questions.  God forbid you actually prevent your diverticulitis attacks.  That would be bad for business if everyone knew exactly what to do.
Diverticulitis sufferers used to be told to avoid nuts, seeds and popcorn (because it was thought that they could get lodged in the colon pouches) but that has since been proven false.  But it still doesn't stop many doctors from giving that terrible advice.
So they just live a waiting game...waiting for that next attack and hoping they don't get the knife this time.

Is it really THAT simple?
When you've lived the hell-on-earth called diverticulitis, it seems impossible that the answer to ending your misery could be anything simple.
But alas, my friend, it IS simple.
You see, a diverticulitis attack occurs when you get inflammation or an infection in one or more of your "diverticula"--colon pouches that typically form as the result of poor digestion and/or constipation.
So it only follows that if you help PREVENT infections and inflammation in your diverticula (by keeping your colon squeaky clean), you can slash your chances of having any further diverticulitis attacks!
And the best ways to do that are:
1- Encouraging efficient digestion with your diet (to prevent constipation and bacteria-loaded wastes from sticking to your colon wall);
2- Supplementing with digestive enzymes if needed (many people may be low in these due to years of hard-to-digest meals); and
3- Maintaining a healthy, infection-fighting intestinal flora balance with probiotic supplementation.
It's simple. Yet SO effective.
Here's a little more info about each of those:
The diet part
The key to eating for good digestion is to know what foods your body can biologically break down well when eaten together.
The Great Taste No Pain and Great Taste No Gluten health systems show you exactly what foods to pair together in meals for easy, breezy digestion.
These food combinations are designed to work with the pH of your body's digestive enzymes, helping them to maintain their effectiveness and preventing the ruined digestion that can result from opposing enzymes weakening each other in the digestive process.
Don't worry--there are just a few VERY simple rules to remember and I make it very easy for you.
The digestive enzyme part
For people whose bodies may have trouble producing adequate enzymes (which is typically due to a poor diet and/or long-term antacid use), digestive enzyme supplements like Digestizol Max can be the answer to their prayers.
Digestizol Max's 14 potent, plant-derived enzymes can give your body the helping hand it needs to make sure the digestive process is completed like it should be, so your BMs are completed like they should be!
It also has 5 herbs which can help sooth an irritated intestinal tract.
The intestinal flora part
The friendly flora in your intestinal tract comprises 70% of your immune system and is your body's first defense against intestinal infections.
So it only follows that a healthy flora balance is VITAL to prevent diverticulitis infections!
And Super Shield with its 13 robust strains of "go-getting" probiotic bacteria is up to this important task!
Plus, since the probiotic bacteria in your intestines help break down starches and fiber, Super Shield can help keep your digestion smooth and prevent constipation as well!
And Super Shield can help your body recover from the damage caused to your intestinal flora from antibiotics.

Hear it from the horse's mouth
If all this seems TOO EASY as a true solution to diverticulitis, I understand.
And I'm happy to say you don't have to take my word for it.
Check out these 3 stories from FORMER diverticulitis sufferers who saw for themselves:
Happy Anniversary, Katie!
Sherry,
I would like to celebrate with you today--it has been one year since my last Diverticulitis attack.
I remember, it was March 18th, 2012--my sister's birthday, and I couldn't go to her birthday party.
I used to get Diverticulitis flare ups about every 3 months. I was hospitalized twice.
Not only do I feel better, but family & friends tell me that I look good and healthy now and ask me what I am doing. I tell them about the Great Taste No Pain system.
My husband has IBS; he also follows your plan, and he feels much better too.
Thank you very much Sherry!!
Katie

Veronica avoided the knife and the bag!
Hi Sherry,
Thanks so much for your emails. I have been on Super Shield for two years now and have avoided the "knife" and the bag.
I also try to stick to the diet plan and I am always so thankful to have found your website.
I am 54 and have had diverticulitis for the past 10 years. The doctors wanted to do the surgery 3 years ago and I said no no no.
Fortunately I found your website in time.
Blessings,
Veronica

Dear Sherry:
You've been an inspiration to me for a few years now.
As you know, I'm in my 85th year, no more running but a brisk walk every day, exercise with 6 lb. barbells 100 repetitions, play golf twice a week and ride my road bike twice a week.
I also do stretching exercises for 15 minutes every day.
I can do this because I follow your Great Taste No Pain plan & have no more Diverticulitis problems.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
