Wires in the brain, Professor Rodolfo Llinas talks about how he developed bundles of nanowires thinner than spider webs that can be introduced into the human brain’s blood vessels to allow for direct communication with the brain’s deep recesses. The significance of this breakthrough is illustrated by U.S. agents from the National Security Agency (NSA) quickly showing up at MIT’s Laboratory where the wires were developed for direct stimulation of the senses and of our emotions.
