A
Reader, Kathy, gives us an amazing analysis of the so-called Foley beheading
still shot. . . don’t miss it! ~J
I
normally don’t leave comments on websites, but in this case, I feel it’s my
obligation to do so. I first want to point out that I am an empath, so to delve
into something so evil and visually horrific is not something I take lightly. I
won’t even watch a scary movie because I don’t want that kind of energy in my
psyche. At the same time, I have been around the block a couple times and get
the gist of what is going on. With that said, I would like to share my
observations of the final shot in the video of the alleged beheading of James
Foley.
After
being directed to Jimstonefreelance.com – http://jimstonefreelance.com/beheadedcprdoll.html. from your comment section, I was able to
see a still shot of the last frame of the video. I wanted to see for myself
what others were calling out.
It is
important that I point out that I am an artist and have a BFA in Graphic
Design. Digital Imaging in Photoshop is part of what I do for a living. I am a
professional in this field.
On this
quest for the truth, I also conferred with a very close friend who has been a
critical care nurse for 20 years. We both observed the photo and then shared
our thoughts.
First of
all, it is not a CPR doll nor it is a mannequin. Coming from a nurse, CPR dolls
are not that defined in structure. There is not such curvature of the feet and
so forth.
I took
the photo and blew it up to 400%. This is what I saw: The photo is actually two
different photos morphed together through the magic of Photoshop. A photo was
taken of the “guy” laying face down just like in the photo we’re shown. He was
alive and had his head on.
A second
photo was taken of him (alive) with his eyes closed and blood on his face. This
second photo was shot against a much darker background. This difference in
background is pronounced
when the head is dropped into the first photo against a much lighter background. Who ever did the digital imaging, did a poor job. You can see the dark line at the back of his head. Also, the area where his head leans against his hands, is much too dark to be of the same photo. It’s phony.

With the
photo magnified, I was also able to see that it was a body, indeed. He had hair
on his arms and his feet and fingers are well defined. That throws the CPR doll
theory out the window.
The
ground in the photograph has also been manipulated. When the digital artist
removed the head from the first photo of the”guy” laying on the ground, he
would then have had a hole in that area of the photo and would have to
compensate or fill in the space with ground that looked like someone was
beheaded there. A small area of the ground right where his neck is, shows
darker pebbles and a small amount of blood. It looks like that small area could
have been taken from a third photo possibly, and dropped in. The pixels blend
well there, but, it looks like the digital artist became impatient and just
blurred areas out beyond that patch. This would be the place where the top of
his head originally was. It is a tedious process to manipulate a photo like
this but can be made believable with patience and skill. This one is not
believable.
One of
the first things my nurse friend said was that the head was not that of a dead
man. She explained the process of exsanguination where the blood drains from
the body in seconds and the deceased turns white. She said that the head has
much too much color to be dead. She also pointed out that the body should have
already had purple splotches on it. His skin is clear in the photo.
My nurse
friend also explained that if he had really been cut across the throat, the
blood would have shot forward profusely and he would have bled out quickly. I
bring this up because several people have noticed a lack of blood. According to
my nurse friend, if he really was beheaded, all of the blood would have come
forward. Her feeling was that there was a sufficient amount of blood coming
from under the body, much that we don’t see, and could substantiate a real
beheading. Of course she has never witnessed a beheading. This is coming from a
medical perspective.
Whatever
happened to James Foley, I don’t know. What I do know is that this photo has
been doctored. The head just does not belong to the photo we’re being shown.
On a
lighter note…. Thank you so much, Jean, for all of your hard work and for the
delightful scrutiny that you apply. I love your gumption! Blessings to you in
all you endeavor. Much love. ~ Kathy
