Following a spate of violent attacks by masked members of Antifa, four GOP members of Congress are taking matters into their own hands.
A measure introduced last month in the House would punish anyone wearing a mask who "injures, oppresses, threatens or intimidates" a person "in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege" with a fine and up to 15 years in prison.
Introduced to the House Judiciary Committee by Rep. Dan Donovan (R-NY) and co-sponsored by Peter King (R-NY), Ted Budd (R-NC) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ). H.R. 6054, the "Unmasking Antifa Act of 2018" states:
Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, while in disguise, including while wearing a mask, injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both. The bill also includes 2 years of jail time for "Destroying buildings or property" while wearing a mask or disguise.
One of the more notable incidents of Antifa violence was an assault on a Trump supporter by Bay Area professor and anarchist, Eric Clanton, who was "unmasked" by users of popular internet forums and arrested and charged with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Clanton remains free on bail, while his trial has been postponed several times.
Meanwhile, a large skirmish broke out at a Portland conservative rally between masked members of Antifa and conservatives - which led to a viral video of a Proud Boy known as "Rufio" knocking out an Antifa member. (Knockout at 7:35)
With the new House Resolution, looks like these guys are out of luck:
Predictably, the left has called the bill dystopian, while those on the right are urging people to call their representatives in congress.
The "Unmasking Antifa Act" is very concerning and reflects a willful misunderstanding of what "Antifa" is, but I have also been saying that the risks of fascism are not just in the streets.— Emily G kmii (@EmilyGorcenski) July 10, 2018
On the contrary. If history is any guide, nipping political violence in the bud should be among Congress' highest priorities.@RepDanDonovan's Unmasking Antifa Act should get bipartisan support. Will it? https://t.co/HSdEhJ1Wkr— Will Chamberlain 🇺🇸🇬🇧 (@willchamberlain) July 10, 2018
Attendees at @Cernovich's Night for Freedom were faced with *in-person* death threats by masked Antifa members.— Will Chamberlain 🇺🇸🇬🇧 (@willchamberlain) July 10, 2018
You want people to be able to anonymously make death threats at protests because...otherwise they might receive death threats themselves? https://t.co/9DoE2UrnSb

Let them know what you think about the Unmasking Antifa Act, which would hold far left wing terrorist groups to the same standards as the KKK and other groups.

This is where we all can get into the technicalities of what type of mask is being used and what events as it may not just relate to the Antifa people.
What if the dirty cops want to arrest people just working in a chemical hazardous condition and it is required yet now denied, or in the colder winter conditions to keep your face warm, or in the medical industry as for hospitals now ban them, or now on the bikers wearing their required helmets are also included to be denied.
So there will be court cases coming up all over the place for the BAR Association and liberals to keep making the money.
I saw this bill debated last night on Fox news.
This is a badass bill because I posted a comment here on this site in another article that states something like:
If you're wearing all black, with a mask, throwing another type of flag and or insulting our U.S. flag then is it time that we can label you as a domestic terrorists as your appearance is similar to the middle eastern terrorists.
I say, if you're American you have the right to peaceful assembly and to protest.
You do not have a right to inflict fear, hide behind a mask and incite riots.
15 years is too harsh... 5 years is practical and 1 year minimum mandatory is very acceptable. The thing is though, there's already laws on the books very similar to this bill.
Lets just assume (ass-u-me) that nothing will come of this but that in light of bringing U.S. together for a common collective that this bill creates debate and progressive argumentation towards a solid end goal of unity!
Just my 2 cents.
Very dramatic. A Time of Deciding what's right for We the People of the united States of Northern America or NWO League of Nations (draco reptilian Agenda 21 UN). Important not to react, nor oppose in typical Hegelian dialectic process. Certain vibrations attract the opposite of our desires, resulting in self-defeating/destructive results. Such are cosmic laws. Think! and act! to raise! vibrations!, much positive! creative! potential activities exist all around us.
Close all colleges and put these liberal communist professors out on their ass. Trade schools are the way to go
Let's get to the source of the problem. George Soros needs to be taken out! Cut off their funding and see how long they keep up with there "protests"!
Thank you for this! I thought I was the only one aware on awareness blogs. It's good to see this energy this way.
This bill is beyond just physical appearance. I deal with people going in disguise in the public all the time.
Title 18 will cover public servants, why else quote it mentioning color of law
Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, while in disguise, including while wearing a mask, injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person in any State,
Imagine selling one cigarette out of a pack of cigarettes, and people who wear certain clothing during certain hours of their day, come after you claiming to be enforcing some 'color of law' that you can't sell the cigarettes you bought to someone who will pay you for access to one of your cigarettes, and they put you in a choke hold and you die.
Sound familiar.
The wording is intentional, whoever, while in disguise, including while wearing a mask. Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law.
I love it..ramp up the code that is already there.
In any State.
If you knew how the deceive us with the state, State, you'd be shocked.
The legislature of your state, whereever it is, they wrote code that supports the constitution and the state or supports the constitution and this state.
I recently learned about 'the state' and 'this state' and it's not pretty how we were deceived...those are not physical places...I assumed it meant the state I lived it...but it's not a physical plane, and that's where they cross jurisdictions.
They know it...we didn't.
The state codes have both code for our unalienable rights and 'this state' mixed in it. They want to only use the code for 'this state'.
We didn't know to look in there for the code that supports our constitutional right.
It's like them in code (for confusion) putting
You can travel (constitution)
You have to have a driver's license to drive (this state)
You can use the roads for traffic or travel (constitution)
If you are operating a motor vehicle you have to register (this state)
Intentionally they have them mixed together like wheat and chaff.
They favor the chaff, and we are punished for not knowing the wheat is there too.
We thought 'this state' meant our state, the place we lived, one of the states of the union, a real place with land....furthest from the truth.
'this state' is a choice of law.
They always say someone violated the peace and dignity of this state.
They were talking about a choice of law, an intangible place you can't see, feel, touch, or even be in on any given day.
You cannot be in 'this state' on any given day. It's intangible.
It's a choice of law. They choose to use it and pull us into is.
We can tell them they can't compel us into their choice of law.
They can't compel us, but can get us to accept is because we didn't know.
Everyone with an attorney friend, most of them didn't know they were participating in this deception either...so they could not help us because they could not figure out why they didn't win a case they thought they should have won.
But someone knows, and uses it to their advantage, whether it is a prosecutor who eventually becomes a judge who knows...some of them in the control spaces know.
this Bill will Pass on one of the first tries. How can I be so sure? This Bill is another example of something that I've been following for years. Check out the pattern...Step One) Look at the Subject Matter of the Bill...in this instance, "Disguising". Second step in this phenomenon....Check to see what Word and Definition might be Coded from Strong's Concordance.
Not kidding. Go look. H6054. Okay, Strong's Concordance fans, roll over to H6051. It says 6051 the Root of 6054 means to ACT COVERTLY.
Disguised ....Act Covertly. If you agree with me, those dots should connect, and this Bill should Pass.
Follow the Pattern.
