Lamm a classic as to a warning and prophecy about America being destroyed from within if it did not wake up in time to stop self-destruction by collapse from within engineered by the laws and policies of Wash., D.C. We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration over-population conference in Washington DC, filled to capacity by many of America's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victory Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia," explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal - was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.
Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that "An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide."
"Here is how they do it," Lamm said:
"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country." History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: "The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate, are histories of turmoi, tension, and tragedy." Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."
Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. It would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hisponic drop rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.
Third, "We could make the United States a 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: "The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multi-cultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together." Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."
"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."
"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of "'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all failure on the majority population."
"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic Games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E Pluribus Unum" -- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus,' instead of the 'Unum,' we will balkanize America as surely as Kosovo."
"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits; make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'ractist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."
In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."
There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures, such as those that practice female genital mutilation, are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America - take note of California and other states - to date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984. "In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building" "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."
Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast if we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

To me Chicago, Illinois used to be a prime example how to handle immigration so it served the good purposes of America and made a nation strong, not weak, by how immigration was handled in that area. It was a city widely populated by people from many nations, yet all forming into fine Americans in the process. All received a common national history of America taught to them in the public schools and private cultural histories of other nations was not taught to those who wanted to retain their nationality instead of becoming an American citizen for real. They could learn their own cultural histories from their own local cultural societies in Chicago, but the public school system did not fulfill this function of education to educate them to remain non-Americans in a culture that was committed to form Americans, not non-citizens who were squatters in America as they would never join the American cultural values nor become loyal to Americas as their nation.There was the Germania Club in Chicago for those of German ancestry. German culture was respected there, but they spoke in English in this club, not German, and they spoke as Germans who had become in their values of life and allegiance to as a nation real Americans but not ashamed to have come from German ancestry which they still respected and maintained culturally but subordinate to the American culture as they had now accepted to be their true national culture now. You had the Irish Hurling Stadium for the Irish community in Chicago, yet all the Irish there were American in thinking, loyalty, and cultural values. The Poles and other Slavic groups had their local cultural centers representing the old country their forefathers came from, yet all were now Americans in language, values, and loyalty, and part of the common one people and nation of America. The Chinese had their Chinatown in Chicago and could have local Chinese festivals, etc., yet now American was their language, culture, and national loyalty to. We had Mexicans and other minority groups who could still remember their cultural past from another nation, but all now American in language, national values, and loyalty to as a nation and one common race of all Americans including themselves.
What I see in America today are foreigners coming to America and forming their own national colonies as part of their prior nations and no loyalty to America as a nation. They are foreigners coming to America to remain foreign citizens of another nation and culture and refusing to become real American citizens by accepting our common language of English, our common historical culture of the American Revolution and the God-given rights it stood for being also their national culture now as they had accepted becoming American citizens by assimilating into our society and culture as fellow American citizens and part of one common nation and race in America.
The Jews came to America and no one helped them. They worked jobs whatever was available to them, educated themselves and children well, financed themselves into business, and soon the Jews were an established race now in professional fields and businesses. No civil right laws established them well professionally in America. They didn't need civil rights laws to establish them in America. The freedom was here that any man or woman wanting to advance themself in society could do so as long as they paid the price in labor, time, dedication, etc. and got the education that launched them into good professional fields or saved up the money that started them in business for themselves. The Chinese came to America, worked any kind of job they could, saved up their money, and soon Chinese businesses popped up all over America. There used to be signs in earlier America at many businesses concerning jobs, "No Irish Need Apply!" But freedom and opportunity was still available in America for whoever would use it! The Irish worked at what was available, pulled themselves up in society and later we even had a President of Irish ancestry called President John F. Kennedy.
I am a statesman for America, not a politician. Therefore I will stand for what is right for America, not what is clever, wrong, and corrupt for America as the politicians basically stand for. For foreigners coming to America and seriously wanting to become American citizens and part of us, we can let them into our legal system to later become American citizens, but they will become American citizens only by passing our national standards of law set up by statesmanship and not by cheap politics. We will not let colonizers for foreign nations and races to become citizens of America if their intent is to remain truly foreigners living in an alien culture they hate and despise call America. If they cannot be loyal to our national culture, our laws, and heritage, then they are not desirable for us and we do not want them to be made fake citizens of America by scoundrel politicians of Wash., D.C. who have no loyalty to America as a nation and race founded in 1776. We do not make American citizens those who want to infiltrate us and take over America for their nation, religion, or political cause which wants to destroy America by gaining national power through hiding their intent of foreign conquest of America from within America.
And foreigners smuggling into America without legal approval, maybe they can stay for awhile in America if needed by farmers for farm workers and obtaining a green card giving them permission to work for a time here and then must return to their own nation afterwards. If we can find no reason serving national interests to keep them here, then time to ship them back to their homeland wherever that might be or else put them in prison if necesary if they violate our criminal laws. We can have a legal system where foreigners from any nation could ask legal permission to enter America to establish themselves here and become later legal citizens of America, but they have to be approved by our national legal standards for potential citizenship or else not allowed to move here as a potential citizen of Ameria. Maybe a few foreigners could be allowed to move here to become "permanent residents" here but that would be for reasons of national interest and not to trash our nation with criminal elements, etc. from abroad. And until we accept them to become a future potential citizen of America, they are not covered by our welfare system and allowed to potentially bankrupt California or other states which find the cost of welfare for illegal immigrants is massive when they receive welfare instead of working at jobs and don't pay taxes, but drain the tax money of honest American citizens by giving these illegal immigrants who violated our laws by illegally smuggling themselves into America massive financial backing not even given to the native American citizens of America.
When jobs that native Americans need for survival of themselves and family are taken away by illegal immigrants willing to work at any pay scale, that is not justice in America to throw Americans potentially out in the streets bankrupt in life because foreigners got the jobs they needed and deserved as citizens of America. America has a lot of land, but if enough immigrants are allowd to turn our cities into vast squatter camp communities of foreigners instead of Americans living there, we will see our nation decline until it evaporates before our very eyes and no nation of America is left intact and alive for the future.
I am a statesman but also practical. A statesman who is not practical and loyal to the future of his nation and people is unfit to be called a statesman and also is not a statesman as he has nothing to offer the nation then in good answers that will work right for the nation.
In the future let immigrants go through our legal system of approval to move to America rather than crash our gates by illegal entry and threaten to expand the building insolvency of the American economy which cannot handle endless welfare state expenses created by doing things contrary to sound economics and national financing. We make our economy strong and our strength can then help build industry and agriculture in other nations so their people are now well off in their own lands. Also then we are not threatened by a vast flood of millions of foreigners who might end up bankrupting America if we do not handle and soundly this immigration problem now out of hand in America.
The politicians are petrified to state the truth to the American people. I am a statesman which means I have the backbone to tell you the American people the truth. There is no hatred in what I propose. But if we show here how to run a national economy right, then other nations can follow our example and prosperity spread across the earth for all races and nations alive today. If we let 500 million foreigners suddenly flood America, then the American economy cannot handle such a load and America crashes as a nation and disappears from the memory of the earth being a failed national experiment after that.
Right now the so-labelled "liberal" politicians are the agents of the coming destruction of America unless sound values and leadership changes the direction of America and now. Too many "conservative" political leaders want to win a battle or two in economics and national culture, but in the end their weak advance of society is not the answer America needs. I say win the war, not an occasional battle or two in economics and national culture. Pass my Omni Law in 2014 and we solve the immigration problem of America. We don't have to ship them back to their original homeland. We can settle them on land others do not want to move to at this time and let them learn how to be pioneers in building new homes, communities, etc. out of prior wilderness. We do that and we turn a national problem into an angle to build up America instead to a stronger economy, nation, etc. But in a resettlement plan like this, they are going to have to become real American citizens or else we will ship them back to their original homelands and in the future illegal immigrants will be effectively stopped from entering America.
A former President of Mexico told Mexicans to immigrate to America so Mexico could later confiscate the Western States of America to Mexico once enough Mexicans had immigrated to these areas. And supplied them with information how to effectively smuggle themselves over the border into America. We are not the dumping off ground for other nations to solve their economic problems by dumping their surplus population off on us.
Pass this report around in America. For the first time, you have actually heard a national leader (me) tell you a realistic way to solve the illegal immigration problem of America now getting wildly out of control and will end up totally destroying America if not solved in time.
