The list of nations around the globe that have collapsing economies just continues to grow.  In recent weeks I have written about the ongoing saga in Greece, the stock market crash in China, the debt crisis in Puerto Rico and the economic meltdown in South America.  But there are more economic flashpoints that I have not even addressed yet.  

For example, did you know that a full-blown economic collapse is happening in Iraq right now?  And did you know that the economy of Ukraine is contracting rapidly and that it cannot pay its debts?  Back in 2008, the financial crisis was primarily centered on the United States, but this time around it is turning out to be a truly global phenomenon.

When the U.S. “liberated” Iraq, the future for that nation was supposed to be incredibly bright.  But instead things have just gone from bad to worse.  This has especially been true since we pulled our troops out and allowed ISIS to run buck wild.  At this point unemployment in Iraq is at Great Depression levels, the economy is steadily contracting and government debt is spiraling wildly out of control…

But Iraq’s oil industry, and the government’s budget, is being squeezed by low oil prices. As a result, the nation’s finances are being hit hard: the market price is now half that needed to break even, expanding the budget deficit, forecast to return to balance until the rise of IS, to a projected 9% of GDP.

In the past, Iraq’s leaders approved budgets without seriously taking into account a drop in the price of oil. Now the severe revenue shortfall is forcing leaders to cut back on new investments. Russia’s Lukoil, Royal Dutch Shell, and Italy’s ENI are also cutting back, eyeing neighbouring Iran’s pending economic opening as a safer investment.
Despite improving its finances after the US troop withdrawal, the drop in oil prices and the rising costs of battling IS have pushed Iraq’s economy into a state of near-crisis. According to the IMF, the nation’s GDP shrank by 2.7% in 2014 and unemployment is estimated to be over 25%.

Things are even worse in another nation that was recently “liberated”.  The new U.S.-friendly government in Ukraine was supposed to make things much better for average Ukrainians, but instead the economy is absolutely imploding…(The unlawful invasion of both Iraq and Ukraine was for the profit of and to establish CONTROL by the cabal, aka USA LTD GOV and USA / UN / NWO / NATO MILITARY - nations and peoples are being literally brought to the floor - DESTROYED for the cabal NWO. Now you understand WHY the ENTIRE PLANET HATES AMERICANS - because they are led to believe that you and I are behind the criminal actions being taken against them.)

The country’s GDP contracted by 6.8 percent last year, and is forecast to shrink by another 9 percent this year — a total loss of roughly 16 percent over two years.

Just like in much of southern Europe, the banks are absolutely overloaded with bad loans and the entire banking system is on the verge of total collapse.  

The following comes from a CNN article that was posted earlier this year…

Ukraine’s banking sector is one of the weakest parts of the economy. The key interest rates are the highest in 15 years, and experts estimate bad loans make up between one third and one half of all banking assets.
Over 40 banks have been declared bankrupt since the war began, with the country’s fourth largest lender, Delta Bank, going under earlier this week.

Just recently, the government of Ukraine declared that it could not pay its debts.  We didn’t hear much about this in the United States, because the Obama administration wants us to believe that their policies over there are a success.  But the truth is that Ukraine now needs a “debt restructuring deal” similar to what Greece has received in the past… (The banksters are salivating now - waiting to chew up the Ukraine and digest for profit)

Progress between Ukraine and its creditors on a $19 billion restructuring may be losing momentum as a proposed high-level meeting was canceled amid further disagreements over terms.
Ukraine’s $2.6 billion of 2017 notes fell the most in a month after a person familiar with negotiations said a new offer put forward by Ukraine this week would be unacceptable to bondholders. Later on Wednesday, Ukraine’s Finance Ministry said that a Franklin Templeton-led creditor group should prepare an improved offer for meetings next week.

Speaking of Greece, things just continue to unravel over there.  Earlier this week we witnessed the greatest one day stock market crash in Greek history, and there was more financial carnage on Wednesday.  The following comes from the Economic Policy Journal…

For a second straight day, following the reopening of the Greek stock market, there were heavy losses in Greek banking stocks, with shares across the sector once again falling by about 30 percent, the bottom of their daily limit.
Bank of Piraeus and National Bank of Greece fell the most, falling by the daily limit of 30 percent t. Alpha Bank was 29.7 percent lower and Eurobank Ergasias lost 29.6 percent.

At this point you would have to be blind to not see what is happening. 

A financial crisis is not just imminent – one is already starting to erupt all over the planet.  And none of us can say that we weren’t warned.

Overall, there are currently 24 nations that are dealing with a major financial crisis right now, and there are another 14 nations that are right on the verge of one.

But even though a global financial crisis is already unfolding right in front of our eyes, there are people that come to my website every day and leave comments telling me that everything is going to be just fine.

IRAN DEAL POSES BIGGER THREAT TO US THAN TO ISRAEL

American concessions in Iranian nuclear deliberations saved the worst for last, freeing funding and temporary obstacles which will enable Tehran to deliver atomic weapon payloads over America. This huge rogue elephant among the herd in the negotiations living room hasn’t gone unnoticed in Israel.

As their U.S. Ambassador Ron Dermer told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, the Obama administration has agreed to a “tail wind of sanctions relief” that gives Iran both a legal nuclear program and money for an intercontinental ballistic missile system. He pointed out that since Israel and Iran are on the same side of the world, “those ICBMs are for you [us].”

Ambassador Dermer warns that Israel and Saudi Arabia finally see eye-to-eye on a common threat. Lifting of temporary constraints after 10 years will enable Iran to expand its march of conquest and terrorism throughout the Middle East — in Syria, in Lebanon and Yemen.

He pointed out that: “For 18 months, Iran . . . was desperate to come to the negotiating table. And instead of actually dismantling their nuclear program, which was what everyone said two years ago . . . we’ll dismantle the sanctions regime when they dismantle their program . . . what you are doing is dismantling the sanctions regime and leaving their program intact.”

A late final-hour concession grants Iran relief from an international embargo on conventional arms sales after five years, and from restrictions upon ballistic missile technologies after eight years. This will afford the world’s leading terrorist sponsor and dedicated America/Israel arch enemy — one which refuses to sign ballistic missile arms control treaties — free access to international markets.

Politico has reported that top Pentagon officials have recently expressed highly critical opposing views to U.S. and international negotiators both in public and through closed-door meetings. Only days before the Vienna deal was inked, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey told a Senate committee: “We should under no circumstance relieve pressure on Iran relative to ballistic missile capabilities and arms trafficking.”

Referring to long-range missiles, Defense Secretary Ash Carter told the Senate Armed Services Committee: “The reason that we want to stop Iran from having an ICBM program is that ‘I’ in ICBM stands for intercontinental, which means having the capability of flying from Iran to the United States.”

And just how scary is that?Consider that the blast from a relatively small and primitive atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device detonated in orbit above the U.S. would black out a vast region of our critical civilian and military electronics infrastructure for months or even years. According to an unclassified 2008 congressional EMP Commission report, a year-long blackout would cause 90 percent of the population — tens of millions of Americans — to perish from starvation and societal chaos.

Dare to imagine circumstances with grid disruptions shutting down all water pumping and sanitation stations; lights and refrigerators; TV, radio and Internet communications; and manufacturing industries. All equipment that relies upon complex electronic micro circuitry would cease to function, including banking transactions, air traffic control operations, and ground transportation vehicles, law enforcement communications, gasoline pumps, heating and air-conditioning, and tiny implanted medical devices.

A 2009 Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States co-chaired by former Secretaries of Defense William Perry and James Schlesinger urged immediate action to protect the power grid from just such a threat. Study conclusions of the Academy of Sciences, the Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the National Intelligence Council agreed.

Clearly recognizing vulnerability to a devastating EMP attack, the Pentagon is moving NORAD’s early warning and command/control headquarters to a hollowed-out Cheyenne Mountain bunker near Colorado Springs, Colo. The greatest strike threat is from a small nuclear device detonated in orbit above our mainland following a south-polar trajectory which will be blind to our ballistic missile early-warning radars and ground-based interceptors facing south.

Iran and North Korea have both demonstrated capacities to orbit payloads over the South Pole. While Iran’s nuclear weapons timetable is uncertain, former congressional EMP Commission chairman William Graham and former National Intelligence Council chairman Fritz Ermarth have warned Newsmax that Iran should be regarded as already having nuclear missiles capable of delivering EMP attacks.

Whether the Iran nuclear accord is viewed as a historic success or the "stunning historic mistake" characterized by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, there’s next to nothing opponents can do to reverse it. Overturning President Obama’s commitment to veto any congressional legislation “that prevents the successful implementation of this deal” will require an exceedingly unlikely two-thirds vote.

Meanwhile, the president contends that “Because America negotiated from a position of strength and principle, we have stopped the spread of nuclear weapons in this [Middle East] region.” The larger issue for us is whether it will have stopped rather than spread those weapons over America.

OBAMA PROVIDING EXTRA 1 MILLION ALIEN WORK PERMITS ANNUALLY

The Obama administration has issued more than 7.4 million work permits to foreign nationals from 2009 – 2014, beyond the approximately one million lawful permanent residents and 700,000 foreign guest workers admitted to the U.S. each year.

In written responses to the Senate Judiciary Immigration and the National Interest Subcommittee Republicans obtained by Breitbart News, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services reveal that the Obama administration has been approving work authorizations for immigrants beyond admission limits and for some categories of immigrants that Congress never intended to work in the U.S.

Green card holders and foreign nationals on guest worker visas do not need work authorizations.

Beyond those limits each year, these new and renewed work permit approvals amounted to about 1.23 million in fiscal year 2009, 1.08 million in FY 2010, 970,277 in FY 2011, 1.24 million in FY 2012, 1.68 million in FY 2013 and 1.24 million in FY 2014.

Such categories of immigrants that received permits include: Illegal immigrants granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, immigrants granted Temporary Protective Status (TPS), spouses of guest workers, various types of foreign students, immigrants granted voluntary departure, parolees, as well as asylees and refugees.

Further, more than 113,800 individuals with final orders of deportation also were granted work permits in that six year span.

A number of categories of immigrants granted work permits simply had immigration applications pending without approval. Those work permit approvals include immigrants with TPS pending, application for suspension of deportation, “in proceedings,” adjustment applicants, asylum applicants, and pending Special Agricultural Workers (SAW) applicants.

For example,from FY 2009-FY 2014 more than 356,600 applicants for asylum were granted work permits. Another 2.69 million work permit approvals were for immigrants applying for an adjustment of status.

In addition to the raw work permit data, USCIS also provided a list of every zip code in the country, revealing where these extra work permits or EADs were issued each fiscal year.

The two zip codes with the greatest number of extra EADs in FY 2014 was in Flushing, NY (11355 and 11354) with 6,529 and 4,800 EADs. The zip code with the third most EADs in FY 2014 was Brooklyn, NY (11220) with 4,106 EADs. A zip code in San Gabriel, CA (91776) boasted the fourth most EADs at 3,803. And the zip code with the fifth most EADs was a zip code in Miami (33126) at 3,220.

The data comes on the heels of a Center for Immigration Studies report, authored by expert Jessica Vaughan, which also revealed 7.4 million excess work permits issued in what she described as a “parallel immigrant work authorization system outside the numerical limits and categories set by Congress.”

Vaughan’s data obtained, via a Freedom of Information Act request, yielded different categories of immigrants. USCIS explained in its response that the new data is an update to the data provided in the FIOA.

Of the updated data, Vaughan explained to Breitbart News that the numbers show the Obama administration has been “abusing what should be considered very limited authority to issue work permits.”

She noted that while work permits have been intended to be a benefit for those who are applying for legal status or as a temporary benefit, the administration has issued them to people who are not eligible for legal status.

“Work permits have always been intended as a transitional benefit to assist someone that is in the process of applying for legal status, or as a temporary benefit.  The administration has used them as a way to secretly give out benefits to huge numbers of people who are not eligible for a legal status,” she wrote in an email to Breitbart News.  “They are using them to bypass the law and evade the rules set by Congress that limit the number of people who can take jobs here.

Vaughan further called on Congress to take action to rein in the issuance of these work permits.

“It’s no wonder people are flocking here to claim asylum, enrolling in school, and using other tactics to get here by hook or by crook.  This shadow immigration system is displacing Americans and legal workers from jobs, and Congress needs to take back control of the process without delay,” she emailed.

(NaturalNews) Despite a major setback last month when the U.S. House of Representatives voted 275-150 to pass legislation that would prohibit states from enacting the labeling of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), the Right to Know movement continues to gain traction as it lays its eyes upon the Lone Star State.

Introduced in late March by Texas State Representative Carol Alvarado of Houston (D-Texas), HB 3499 requires foods containing GMOs to be accurately labeled in Texas, as such ingredients have been linked to a multitude of health problems including cancer, infertility, autism, attention deficit disorder, food allergies and many more.

"Don't Mess with Texas' Food"

As the old saying goes: "Everything is bigger in Texas," and the GMO-labeling movement is no exception.

Passing GMO-labeling in Texas, a sizable state known for its stable economy, would surely have a strong and lasting impact on Big Food and chemical companies like Monsanto and DuPont.

There is a tremendous amount of support for GMO-labeling in Texas, particularly in trendy cities like Austin, Texas where you can hardly travel a mile before encountering a farm-to-table restaurant, organic farmer's market, natural foods grocery store or all-natural cafe.

Austin is likely the second largest hotspot of organic food next to California, making it a little surprising that GMO-labeling legislation is just now surfacing in the area.

Leading with the slogan "Don't Mess with Texas' Food," the bill aims to give consumers exactly what they want: clear and accurate labeling of foods genetically engineered to withstand high doses of Monsanto's toxic herbicide Roundup.

Roundup's primary ingredient glyphosate was recently declared "probably carcinogenic to humans" by the World Health Organization, validating concerns that have been raised by so many activists over the years, including Natural News's own Health Ranger, Mike Adams.

The Right to Know about GMOs

Several states have tried to pass similar legislation, and while some states have been successful, others have been near misses, as was the case in California, Washington, Colorado and Oregon.

Paving the way in 2014, Vermont was the first state to pass GMO-labeling, aiming to implement the legislation by July 1, 2016 pending the outcome of a lawsuit in which the state is being sued by Grocery Manufactures Association of America, the processed food industry's largest supporter.

Maine and Connecticut also passed a similar measure that will go into effect once surrounding states do the same. Here you can view a map of 2015 GMO labeling bills.

More than 70 bills seeking to mandate the labeling of GMOs have been proposed in at least 30 states, with some of the most recent being in Florida, Montana, Arizona, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Tennessee, Indiana, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

While it's unfortunate the House passed the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act of 2015, also termed the DARK Act (Denying Americans the Right to Know) by consumer activists, which prohibits states from enacting their own GMO-labeling laws, the bill would still need to be approved by the Senate.

According to govtrack.us, the bill only has a 30 percent chance of being enacted. We can reduce the chance of this bill being passed by spreading awareness about the dangers of GMOs and the importance of getting them labeled so consumers can make their own choice about these controversial foods.

Police Can Now Take Your DNA for Mere ‘Suspicion’ of A Violent Crime

On Monday August 3rd, 2015, the Dakota County (Minnesota) Sheriff’s Office became the first in the nation to implement a new Supreme Court ruling that allows police to collect DNA from those arrested for suspicion of a violent crime. The old laws stated that a conviction must occur before the state could steal your biological recipe.

Swabs would be taken from those accused of the most violent crimes like murder, rape, robbery and physical assault. On average, about 10,000 suspects pass through the jail and the policy would affect a fraction of them—about 350.

Tim Leslie, Dakota County Sheriff, has said that the procedure can be likened to fingerprinting, mugshots and other evidence gathered by those processed. Neither he nor the Supreme Court see how invasive such a gathering of information can be, which is unsurprising.

The law states that if a defendant is cleared of the crime they were arrested on suspicion of that the DNA records will be wiped clean from their system. While this should lend a modicum of comfort, it belies a certain ignorance of three things.

1. Once your genetic code is uploaded to these data banks they will be accessible by a number of agencies that might keep them even when the original data posting is removed.
2. It is nearly impossible to erase digit data once it has been uploaded. It remains in residual traces that the adept can easily recover long after they have been ‘erased’.
3. Police are increasingly using ‘assault on an officer’ charges even when no such assault occurred. These charges are almost impossible to beat and would make those found guilty part of this DNA database permanently.

Although DNA evidence is often a powerful crime-fighting tool, its collection presents a number of ethical dilemmas. There remain many known and even more unknown dangers of an individuals genetic information being posted on the internet. The availability of the information would make it possible for it to be used to frame innocent people. 

There is also the question of what will be able to be done with DNA in the future, and by whom. Having this data may become an existential risk in a number of uncertain, but regularly explored, scenarios.

The particulars, however, are hardly the biggest issue here. The biggest issue is that the police state continues to encroach not only on our very rights and freedoms, but even into the microscopic world of our biological make up. 

As the borders between freedom and security continue to break down under such legalities, we become more buried in the sort of authoritarian totalitarianism that is antithetical to the liberties, freedoms and rights we are told we are endowed with at birth.

So either those were all lies to begin with, or government and its law enforcement agencies have usurped powers never intended to them in a free nation. You cannot have it both ways. Either our entire way of life was a falsehood or the state has gone too far. Which is it?
