Health - Will You 'Treat' Cancer Or Prevent It?

Will You 'Treat' Cancer Or Prevent It?

Hi John
Last week I attended a meeting about raising money for breast cancer research, and the speaker urged us to support the cause.
The presentation was OK, but something was seriously lacking.
Now, there is no question that the money that has been raised have helped make advances in the detection and, to a lesser degree, treatment of breast cancer (as well as other cancers).
Thanks to things like more sophisticated diagnostic equipment, genetic testing and improved treatment regimens, many women (and men too) are being diagnosed early and surviving where just 10 or 20 years ago that may not have been the case.
But there's one area where the medical and scientific communities continue to fall short, no matter HOW many dollars are thrown their way.
And that's in the area of PREVENTION.
Preventing breast cancer to begin with, as well as preventing recurrence for those who have survived it.
So much time, money and press is spent glorifying the latest drug developments, applauding the advances in breast cancer genetic research and heralding the latest tests.
But if even a tiny fraction of that was spent on quality prevention education, there would be far fewer people who would have to worry about cancer treatment and detection to begin with.
Well, my friend, that's where I come in.
The information out there about breast cancer prevention is vague at best, not well publicized and subject to interpretation.
So let me clarify it for you.
First, I'll start by telling you what they DO say about prevention...then I'll enlighten you on what you might NOT know, because you MUST know.
What they DO tell you
The typical recommendations for breast cancer prevention usually fall into these three "fluffy" categories:
1- "Choose a healthy lifestyle"
The intent is good, but if you asked 10 different people what a healthy lifestyle is, you'd get 10 different answers.
Does it mean exercise? What about a low carb diet? Stopping smoking? Limit my visits to Mickey D's to only once a week? Take vitamins? Low fat instead of regular cream cheese on my bagel?
You see? It's vague and leaves too much room for individual interpretation. After all, some people even think diet soda is a "healthy" beverage choice.
I'll leave it at that.

2- "Maintain a healthy body weight"
This is a tad more specific but in view of the fact that 6 out of every 10 Americans over age 20 are overweight, and nearly 1 in 4 of those are obese, we're not doing too well in that department, are we?
Plus, many people are clueless as to how to achieve and maintain a "normal body weight."
Some will go on diets and try to starve themselves, only to end up frustrated on a yo-yo going up and down in poundage.
Others may even consult a dietitian...but honestly, I've consulted with thousands of people about taking off weight, and not one has mentioned that any pounds were lost and stayed off because of the advice from a dietitian. Not one.

3- "Eat a diet low in saturated fats"
Saturated fats (the fat in meat, eggs and dairy) may raise raise LDL (bad) cholesterol, blood pressure and increase your risk of blood clots (and cancer).
But they're not the only "bad" fat.
Just as harmful -- if not more -- are trans fats (found in margarine, shortening, deep-fat fried foods, packaged cookies, pastries, baked goods and snacks) and too many inflammation-causing omega-6 essential fatty acids (found in corn, safflower, sunflower, soybean, peanut, sesame, borage and primrose oils and meat from corn-fed animals).
So to say that saturated fats are the only devil is only telling a part of the story...and doing a tremendous disservice to health-conscious people.

What they DON'T tell you
Here is what you likely WON'T read in any publication from a breast cancer (or ANY cancer) research foundation, but it's information that is so vitally important AND valid, that your health and possibly your life are at risk if you're in the dark.
Contrary to what many people believe, breast cancer does not suddenly pop out of nowhere. Like all cancers, it is created over time.
With cancer, there are two factors that come into play -- your immune system and the amount of toxins stored in your body.
The immune factor
Your body is made up of 100 trillion cells and every one of them follows specific instructions from your brain as to where to go and what to do.
Cancer cells start out as normal cells, but then they become damaged. They actually go "crazy" and ignore your brain's instructions. If nothing stops them, they start to multiply like rabbits and "take over" healthy tissue.
In a healthy body, the immune system detects, surrounds and destroys these crazy cancer cells.
But the immune system can't do this when, like a dark cloud...
Here come 'da toxins
If your body is overrun with toxins and harmful bacteria, your immune system gets weakened. When this happens, your immune cells can't keep up with the cancer cells that develop, or they don't recognize them because cancer cells can sometimes appear to be healthy cells.
This gives the cancer cells the "upper hand."
Plus, it has been proven in labs time and again that cancer cannot exist in a clean, alkaline environment. It MUST have an acidic, toxic home in order to thrive and grow.

So...clearly, having a strong, healthy immune system and minimizing the toxins and harmful bacteria in your body are vital to the prevention of breast cancer (and other cancers).
There are very effective ways to address these two very vital measures of health and disease prevention:
First -- boost your immune system
By taking a top-shelf, multi-strain probiotic supplement.

Like Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula.

Super Shield probiotic formula contains 13 powerful strains of friendly bacteria that will help maintain an optimal flora balance in your gut day in and day out. This can support your immune system in staying strong, "on guard" and ready to destroy any cancer cells that may form.
And the beneficial bacteria in each Super Shield capsule can help crowd out and fend off any other harmful bacteria in your system that can rear their ugly heads and make you sick in a number of ways.
Learn about ALL they ways Super Shield can help you here.

Next--eliminate the disease-causing toxins in your body
There are actually three parts to this important step:
1- Get rid of the 'cigs
Besides the obvious harm to your mouth, throat and lungs, when you inhale smoke, the nicotine and 6,000 other toxins in cigarette smoke destroy your body's beneficial bacteria and make it next to impossible for them to survive and multiply.
Cigarette smoke also generates high levels of free radicals, which deplete your body of disease-fighting antioxidants and the nutrients needed for your friendly bacteria (probiotics) to survive.
There are several stop smoking programs and aids. Pick the one that's right for you and put that deadly habit behind you for good.

2- Shake your booty
Moving your body helps to move toxins out of your body -- that's why working up a good sweat is so important. It literally cleans your body from the inside out.
You don't need to become the next Jillian Michaels or Rafael Nadal. Even a brisk walk at least 3-4 days a week for at least 20 minutes is helpful. (Note: brisk means your heart gets pumping fast and you sweat.)

3- Make your digestion efficient
Your intestinal tract is the main exit ramp for toxins to leave your body. So when your digestion is slow or sluggish, wastes and toxins build up in your gut.
This encourages cancer cell development and obliterates your supply of friendly bacteria, so you're missing out on the cancer-detecting protection from them.
Fortunately, efficient digestion is easy to accomplish by:
- Eating the right foods and
- Making sure you have adequate enzymes

In the Great Taste No Pain manuals, I show you exactly what foods to eat.
It's simple -- just a matter of taking in more alkaline foods, reducing the acid producing foods you eat and correctly pairing foods together -- all of which keeps the food and waste products moving through.
When your digestion is efficient, your wastes move through the intestines much easier (read: regular BM's!). That pushes LOTS of toxins right out the back door and helps keep your gut squeaky clean.
And it encourages a more alkaline pH.
So that means your body is a MUCH less attractive home for cancerous tumors to take up residence.
And last but not least, when you are clean and alkaline on the inside and nourish your body properly, excess pounds glide off without effort. So maintaining a healthy body weight is a no-brainer.
Learn what else the Great Taste No Pain manuals will teach you here.

Besides eating the right foods and combinations of foods, enzymes are also critical for efficient digestion (and many other bodily processes).
But for people who have eaten a whole lot of cooked foods, hard to digest meals or processed foods for years or decades, their enzyme-producing capability can be greatly reduced.
And that isn't good. You NEED extra enzymes to digest most of the foods you eat.
That's why a digestive enzyme supplement like Digestizol Max can be so necessary and helpful.
Digestizol Max's blend of 14 plant-derived enzymes will help break down whatever you take in -- proteins, fats, carbs, fiber -- and help keep your digestion smooth as silk.

Congratulations.
Because now you are aware of some true cancer-fighting strategies.
Not fluffy "choose a healthy lifestyle" suggestions, but REAL honest to goodness help-keep-cancer-out-of-your-life measures you can take that can make a HUGE difference in whether or not you are around next year at this time (or 10 years from now).
When you keep your natural disease-fighting mechanism (your immune system) strong and sharp, and make your body a clean, "no cancer allowed" zone, you will never have to fear going to see the doctor and getting "the diagnosis"...
...which is something that all the gazillions of dollars spent on drugs and tests cannot do.
Make prevention a top priority in your life. Your loved ones will thank you.
I can help you every step of the way.
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Bill's colonoscopy showed no more polyps and his health has never been better!:
Sherry
My Dad died of colon cancer at the age of 62. He did not go to a doctor soon enough and the cancer spread.
I am the oldest of 3 sons and am now 62. I started getting colonoscopies at age 48.
Around 2003 I was diagnosed with diverticulosis. Not thinking much about it, I kept up my normal eating habits. After all, I did not think that I was eating that badly.
I have had 4 colonoscopies to date. My last one was in July of this year.
Guess what? No polyps. Yes, for the first time no polyps!

Why? Because in April, 2009 my wife had surgery to repair a hernia, and through the through the stress of it all, I had a diverticulitis attack.
And that's what led me to you. I had gone to the doctor and got antibiotics, but in the process I started researching my symptoms.
Thank God I came across Great Taste NO Pain! Oh yeah!
I ordered the books and I am telling you without a doubt it was the best investment I have made in a long time. I started the Pain-free in 1 Day quick start plan and felt better immediately!
Your information is priceless. I am a Vietnam Veteran; shot 3 times February 11th 1969. Since getting your books and receiving your e-mails my health has never been better.
So I say to you thank you very very much.
Bill H.
SB: Bill, I congratulate you on your new lifestyle, and am grateful to you for your service to our country.
