"Power concedes nothing without a demand.

It never did and it never will.

Find out just what people will submit to,

and you have found out the exact amount of

injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them;

and these will continue until they are resisted

with either words or blows, or with both."

  1. Even if they get 25,000 signatures each (not likely, let's admit) it doesn't matter because secession is considered illegal. The White House will take one look at the petitions, say "meh," and brush them off.

    1. Illegal you say? Secession is illegal? Since when does legality or illegality stop anybody? Isn't the so-called president himself an illegal with fraudulent soc. security numbers, false selective service registration, fake birth certificate and questionable college records? And isn't our Justice Dept. trying to give illegal immigrants "special" consideration? What a farce this entire country has become!! That Czechoslovakian writer was right when he said Obama was the Prince of Fools! We are a nation incapable of thinking rationally!

  2. Obviously you are not from TEXAS! Texas already has almost 12,000 signatures. And yes Texas does. Texas has the 15th largest economy in the WORLD!
