United: We will not be in the national salvation government headed by Maliki

MP Walid Mohammadi    06/19/2014 09:36

Tomorrow's Press / Baghdad confirmed the mass united, on Thursday, it will not participate in a national salvation government headed by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki

A member of the bloc Walid Mohammadi for "tomorrow's Press," said that "Iraq is undergoing a security, political and social stress and requires everyone to be tackled in order to get out of this crisis with minimal losses,"
noting that "the mass united with the formation of a government to save the current situation,

but not at the expense of other benefits and the marginalization of any other blocs that we do not support the formation of a national salvation government headed by al-Maliki. "
He said Mohammadi said that "Iraq is a democratic country and has a constitution which explains the mechanism of forming the government, during a meeting of Parliament within a period of 15 days from the approval of the results of the elections to elect a president and two vice presidents, as well as the President of the Republic by the political blocs, so there's many forms of the lineup the new Iraqi government including a national salvation government. "

The parties to many political consistently during the last term, to call for the formation of a government of national salvation, or a national consensus to pull the country out of its political crisis and the current security, in the belief that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, "no longer fit" to continue in his duties and take over a third time, and the most prominent those parties, leader of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi.

The drumbeat is getting louder and coming from all directions.  The "heat" is being turned up by the hour  Everybody but Maliki himself is saying he has got to go.  Countries in the area including Iran, the US, the European Union, the UN and the people inside his party and citizens in his own country, all chanting no more Maliki.

This is a well coordinated movement to remove him.   This is Friday and we will see if by Tuesday he tries to do something very stupid or he finally gets the message.  It is my belief the marines need to go in now and protect the opposition (New government).

It needs to be made perfectly clear to Maliki we will eliminate him if he does decide to use his goons to change what is happening.  He needs to know that he will be killed if he gets out of hand.  I should get real interesting before the parliament meets.   ~ tlar

And this is a reply to a question by CG: (CountryGal Peoples Dinar)

CG so in your opinion what is taking Hakim so long they have ratified the results why don't they just announce their choice for PM and vote ASAP.

Once the new PM is selected it will make no difference what Maliki says no one will follow him, just not sure why he is still there?

THERE IS A CONSTITUTIONAL PROCESS THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW..

NOW THAT THEY HAVE RATIFIED THE RESULTS THEY HAVE 15 DAYS TO CALL THE NEW PARLIAMENT..SO NOW THEY SAY THAT IS NEXT WEEK..

AT THAT SESSION THEY WILL VOTE IN THE NEW SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE AND HIS TWO DEPUTIES..

THEN AFTER THAT IS DONE THEY PUT THE NAME OR NAMES FORWARD FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY..

THEY THEN VOTE ON THAT..THAT CAN BE ALL DONE IN ONE SESSION..

THEN THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY ASKS THE LARGEST BLOC TO PUT FORTH THEIR CANDIDATE, AND THEN THE PRESIDENT ASSIGNS HIM THE TASK OF PICKING HIS COUNCIL OF MINISTERS WITHIN 30 DAYS..

WHEN THE PM CANDIDATE DOES THAT THEY THEN VOTE IN PARLIAMENT WHETHER TO GIVE THAT COM'S APPROVAL OR NOT..

SO REALLY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION THAT IS THE PROCESS BUT I HAVE AN OPINION ON WHY THEY DONT SAY THEIR CANDIDATE AND THAT IS IT WOULD PUT A BULLS EYE ON HIS BACK WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON ...

ALSO MAYBE THAT IF THEY SAY THAT MALIKI IS LEAVING RIGHT NOW THEN BEFORE THEY GET ISIS COMPLETELY ON THE RUN THAT STATEMENT COULD GIVE ISIS THE MENTAL MOMENTUM THEY COULD USE IN FURTHERING THEIR AGENDA..

ITS A VERY FINE LINE THEY ALL WALK AND THE TIMING MUST BE DONE PROPERLY..

SEE ISIS WANTS TO TOPPLE THE MALIKI SHIITE GOI AND IF YOU GIVE THEM MALIKI ON A PLATTER THEN THEY WILL LOOK AT IT LIKE THEY WON, BUT WE ALL KNOW ITS BECAUSE OF THE ELECTIONS...

NOW THEY CAN HOLD A PARLIAMENT SESSION ANYWHERE THEY WANT IN IRAQ AND EVEN IN IRAQI EMBASSY'S IN OTHER COUNTRIES BECAUSE THAT IS IRAQI SOVEREIGN TERRITORY..

SO WHO KNOWS MAYBE THEY WILL HOLD THAT FIRST SESSION IN PRIVATE SOMEWHERE..

DONT KNOW AND I KNOW I COULD BE STRETCHING IT BUT STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED IN THAT COUNTRY..

THE NEXT PM HAS TO BE SOMEONE THAT CAN JOIN THE WHOLE COUNTRY TOGETHER AND HE MUST HAVE THE EXPERIENCE THAT THIS POSITION CALLS FOR ..

SO I STILL SEE SOMEONE WHO HAS HELD A TOP POSITION EITHER RECENTLY OR EARLIER IN THEIR TRANSITIONAL GOI TO BE THEIR PM ~ CG

IF THEY WERE TO DO THIS ...ITS THE GOVERNMENT OF TECHNOCRATS THEY HAD TALKED ABOUT LONG AGO..IF THEY DO NOT REACH SOME SOLUTIONS FAST THEN THIS WOULD BE THE WAY TO GO..

BUT IN MY OPINION THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS..THEY NEED TO GO THEIR OWN COURSE WITH THE GOVERNMENT CHOOSING BY THE CONSTITUTION AND SHOW THAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF DOING THIS ON THEIR OWN ~CG

BlueyesinLevis: The AP story on Sistani coming on board mentions a little bit of what CG said... Folks.. the Dinarian community is so far out front on this thing.

BlueyesinLevis:     Radio news - David Cameron the PM of England is backing US efforts.. and they are reporting that Sistani is talking "inclusive government". The reality is finally sinking in to the Media....

BlueyesinLevis: Remember that first meeting of the New Parliament?... Erbil may be where they feel safest to get Sworn in like CG says.. this was just passed on to me.... sorry no link

Iraqi parliament predicted to hold meeting in Erbil: official

KURD PRESS

A member of the Iraqi Parliament said the legislative body is possibly to hold its meeting in Kurdistan Region’s capital Erbil, due to the crisis in the state.

Ala Talabani told Rudaw that due to the crisis and the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) insurgency in Iraq, the first meeting of the parliament, which can be held wherever except parliament, can be held in Erbil.

The first meeting of the parliament is really serious as the members will not be an official deputy until they have sworn in as deputy.
