Is Obama already making room for Hillary 2016?
A photo of a barren Oval Office deplete of any furniture, drapes or floor coverings made the rounds online this week.
The walnut and quartered white oak floor, installed during Reagan’s White House and replaced by George W. Bush in 2005, shines brightly in the shot, as the sun streams in through the large, bulletproof windows.
But it turns out the occupant isn’t quite ready to move out and instead the circular space was emptied for a deep cleaning while the President was in Martha’s Vineyard for vacation.

A Reddit user obtained the picture from a friend working on the project and while the White House didn’t comment, officials told NBC News there was no reason to believe the photo wasn’t real.
The picture was likely captured earlier in August as the President is now back to work, having arrived back at the White House late Sunday.
Presidential vacations are an optimal time for some deep cleaning at the executive mansion.

While Obama was in Martha’s Vineyard in August 2010, his office was refurbished with new wallpaper, couches and a new rug to replace the one designed by Laura Bush for Obama’s predecessor.
Obama's new wheat-colored replacement carpet features the presidential seal at the center and includes five quotations along the edge from Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Theodore Roosevelt, as well as Martin Luther King Jr.
