TNT call notes 10-Oct-2014
Tony: Good morning,
TNT! It's Friday, October 10, 2014. Today we have a special,
special surprise – and it’s not Pam or DC singing. I’d like to start
today with some information. We told you that
Adadi’s announcement had a backup date. Before that,
please would everyone go to TNTdinar.com, to the home page, and participate
where it says “My Dinar Story”. It’s a brand new forum that will only be
there for a day or two – and it’s there for you to say what this last three or
four years has been for you – how it’s helped you, prepared you for what’s
about to happen, it’s the place for you to put YOUR dinar story. We will
print these up, box them out and send them to the people who need to know – and
part of the file of the history of this even from our perspective.
Also, if something goes wrong, unexpectedly, we want you to register your
voices. We have downloaded everything from the existing site, and every
other site has probably done the same, as a global event that will never happen
again. Fifteen years from now, we will be able to say “This is what
happened!” That’s why we are doing it.
People can only put in one
subject line, one story, but I will leave it up for people to get into the
forum if people let me leave it up.
DC:
I’m a history buff, but even if you are not, your family members in the future
might want to know what you said about the RV. It’s absolutely wonderful
and I encourage everyone to put down their stories. I’ve been asking everyone
to write down their part and so far this has been very successful in recording
this for history. It’s fine to have 180 opposite opinions and all your
different perspectives.
Tony: I want to know
how it affected you, and it’s also a good time to say Thank you to the people
you cannot say Thank you to, like the guys in Washington and all across the
county who gave us things to help, plus the people in Iraq and other countries
who took part. So say that if you felt that way, or whatever you want to
say. Do print out the stories and keep them for posterity, and we will do
the same for our database. We don’t need your personal info, but you do
need to leave an email address to send you a confirmation. We are not
trying to gather your info – the other stuff is part of the form, but you don’t
have to fill out those parts if you don’t want to. However, you can
personalize it if you want to. It’s easiest if you post a quick reply to
post your story – you don’t have to start a new topic. We’re looking for
how this has affected your life, our calls, the people who helped us stay
involved, those who helped us with the Twitter campaign, how it’s encouraged
you, things that have encouraged you or not, the things that have affected your
decisions – why you did the right things or not.
DC: East to West as
always … In Iraq, everyone is waiting. [Lost the call completely!]
Tony: That was Ray’s
fault – he called me even though he knew I was doing the call! Abadi has not made the
announcement yet.
DC: They promised he would do it on Thursday, by the 11 o’clock
(pm in Iraq) news, and it still has not happened. This has caused
a lot of frustration, with different prices and different rates on the cards
and even different access to the cards. This is causing a lot of frustration, although
the television is still running info about the cards and coins and new notes.
That is boxing everyone in, which is a wonderful thing. Everyone
in the world has been briefed and there is supposed to be a backup time, and Iraq
has promised to get it done by the backup time. The rest of the world is
more than ready, and those who were delaying things are now pushing for it to
be done. They are corralling everyone.
Tony: On Wednesday they
said there were two times, and the first one was 11 o’clock last night. They were even scrolling it on
the television, that Abadi would make that announcement on the news. We know the backup time and we have not passed that
yet. This morning they explained the currency exchange procedures
in the mosque again today.
DC: They have been going through those now for a while.
Tony: All over the
internet, it’s saying
Abadi is now scheduled to make an announcement on the 14th, but we
don’t know what that is about, and there is another announcement scheduled in
the meantime.
DC: Our understanding is that the backup time is between now and
then, and the speech on the 14th will be on a different topic. There
is a lot of frustration in Iraq especially now they are past the holidays and
back in business. Parliament is meeting and wrapping up the budget, and
although the defense minister is seated, we are still not allowed to say his
name. He is still cleaning house in the defense ministry.
ISIL: there
has been a lot of concern in articles. The town just inside Syria is a
concern, because they are trained fighters and there are also battles going on
in Anbar province. Those are always hot spots, and there is a lot of
tension because people have not engaged them as much as they should.
However, that is getting people to lean in to the Iraqi government. There are
setbacks, but definitely something the military can deal with.
Oil exports:
the price of oil is causing worry for people because it is now 4-5 dollars
higher. Our understanding is that this might cause an adjustment to the
rate. It’s $3.58 now, but they probably will change that rate due to
the change in oil prices – probably a minor change.
Tony: That’s good
enough – we are just so close now, who cares? It should be an interesting weekend. I really
don’t think we’ll go to the 14th. Anything about celebrations?
DC: It’s the same thing as before – celebrations are
planned/scheduled as soon as this goes on. Nobody is going crazy,
but everything is ready for whenever this happens.
Tony: Let’s explain the
exchanges that took place from Wednesday to today.
DC: A lot of the folks who did their homework and followed the
rules were able exchange on the 1-3. October. They went to the
bank, asked for some cash, and got the lower denominations. That’s what’s
been going on. Some have been using them, some have been holding off
because of the holiday. Some who are later in this game have finally got their
cards and now they have to learn the rules – that’s why it took 8-9 days to get
this done. They expected it to take over a month to identify people and
give out new cards. Depending on the region and group, some are allowed full
access to the cards, and some have had access only to a portion of what is in
their accounts. For safety reasons, some won’t have access until Monday.
They have to watch out of criminal and tribal issues.
Tony: Today in the
mosques, we do know that
people are frustrated and they are tired of hearing about it when they thought
it would already happen. Intelligence guys are saying “You slowed this down too far,
and now it’s approaching stall speed” – there is
about to be a real issue on the streets. A lot of people are now
saying “Get this done” because there is starting
to be a negative reaction from the people. With
fighting on the ground, this kind of frustration is the last thing they
need. So even though people are saying “the 14th”, I also told you that I
believe in ‘weekend parties’… so…
DC: In the USA, everyone is
ready for this to be done. IMF and BIS are keeping everyone calm
to the last minute – thank you for that. US banks are ready – most
have skeleton crews to pull everyone in on 30 minute notice. UST is ready
to go, and there’s not much left to do here. There are ceremonial meetings set
up, but security and prep are all done.
Tony: Nothing much more
to say. It’s done. Everyone is in their seat, and if there are not,
they are on standby. So let’s talk to some people.
212 caller:
[Appreciation] We have been here before, and I hate to infringe on your
optimism. DC said you know about 60% of what’s going on, and I was
wondering what is in the 40% that might be contrary to the 60%? [I do not
believe this woman – she always has to be negative, and she is wasting the time
of everyone on the call.]
Tony; The 40% is what
we don’t know – so we don’t know. I have knowledge of the plan, and it
makes sense for me for this to happen over the weekend, and it makes sense to
me. They do what makes sense to them, but this is the best I’ve heard
for this to go through and for the banks to be on a level playing field.
The plan makes sense, and the frustration is pushing this forward as this
overflows into the street. Someone took out the match and they
are about to strike, and then it will be out of control – nobody wants
that. As DC says, everyone is pushing it forward, so why isn’t it here?
DC: I have never claimed to know everything – even the top
leaders don’t understand the full complexity of what is going on. No one
knows the entire thing, and anyone who says they do is lying to you. So,
60% is about right. Most
of the major players who WERE trying to slow this down are now supporting it,
certainly all the ones I know, or know about. Those who had
personal or political reasons to block this are now pushing it
along; even the most cynical guy out there is now trying to help
this along.
Tony: And hopefully the
timeline we are aware of is now correct.
Caller: You alluded the
slow rollout in Iraq, and that there might be changes in the US rollout, with
possible changes in the procedures. What does that look like to
you? Will that delay the time we RV? [more of the same negative
crap]
DC: A lot of folks have these same questions, and they are all
legitmate. AS we understand the process right, it has changed dozens of
times, and it changes constantly. Sometimes they are minor changes, other
times it’s major – we want Tony and DC to explain, no they’re horrible people,
etc. We have explained the shotgun approach – pull the trigger, and
everyone goes at the same time. That’s one option. In order to control
security and solve some of the anxiety and logistical issues moving this much
money through the system, we think they will now divide up the 5-6
million people into groups. The first will be the money groups and the information
groups like us. We will go through with a 800 number.
We are the ones who will have a chance at the contract rate – not
guaranteed, but a fighting chance. They have to do that because of the folks who were paid ahead of time.
“You cannot offer these high rates to VIPS and family memebers without offering
them to the public”.
Tony: That is where
#wearethepeople was born and that really did make a difference.
DC: Huge. We will have an 800 number, we will do a farewell
call, there will be a website, pamphlet or whatever, and you will go to the
bank. They think that will take about 72 hours. Then the remaining
dinarians who are not paying attention, we will call them afterwards, and
they will be put in a priority queue. That will be the next, say, half
million. Then they will shut down the exchange and call centers, and simply
state anyone else can go to the bank and exchange at international rates, just
like bringing any other currency back from your holiday.
Tony: The rate is going down today
because the price of oil went down. That’s what they are doing today.
The reason this plan is put together and it makes sense, is that if you go
through the numbers of those who have more than ten million dinar to those with
100K or less…
DC: The
process makes sense when you understand how many people they expect. Those with
over 10 million dinar – a few thousand. Five to ten million, another few
thousand. The average person only has one 25 thousand dinar, and most paying
attention to this only has 100K. So a person with four 25K bills
doesn’t take long compared with the complications of those with five to ten
million dinar. For most, this is just a high-value exchange process, as
if you won a bunch of money in a casino overseas. The vast majority
have just received gifts or invested minimally because most people cannot pull
out a few thousand to make a larger exchange with such a risky situation.
Tony: So now you know
the process, doesn’t it make sense that they want to exchange those with more
currency while they can keep the rates stable, over the weekend? Even with us
telling you that it might want to wait for the next round.
DC: Some people don’t want us to help you more because they don’t
like us and don’t believe we cut them a fair deal, especially when we called
them out over the winter when we had the Twitter campaign. Others want us
to use our authority to talk to a lot of people at the same time. So they asked us to help, and of
course we agreed because we have the audience and trust already built us
– as well as several other
gurus. There were five that we know who were requested to this,
and that made sense. Then the guys who don’t like us said they shouldn’t
to have us do that, and the bank attorneys got nervous that we would obligate
the banks to do things they weren’t comfortable with. That has gone back
and forth many times, and as we understand it right now, we are just going to
release the 800 numbers.
Tony: I know some other
reasons, but…
404 caller [yet again]:
Is the change of oil prices going to have an impact on the whole region?
DC: Sure. Anything that bases their budget on oil has to adjust their
budgets according to the price of oil because that is the key point of their
economies.
Tony: It probably won’t
be a big adjustment. The 2% per quarter is the maximum IRAQ can change
its rate per quarter AFTER the RV.
Caller: I was wondering
if they could lower our rate or delay the RV because of this.
Tony: Whatever the
rate, when it hits Forex, they will all get in and it’s going to take a ride.
That is not something Iraq can control.
Caller: Do we have any
idea what the contract rate will be – is it close to what they exchanged with
earlier this year?
DC: It has to be pretty darn close. The way it was described is
that it has to be close enough that nobody will argue about it.
Caller: I heard a rumor
that the leader of ISIL group was killed.
DC: They have had that guy and some others that have been
killed. They are continuing to nail the leadership AND the finances of
ISIL – that’s classic military strategy. The street fighting is messier
and always take longer. The faster you cut off the head, the faster it is
finished.
Caller: Was Abadi asked
to delay his speech?
DC: We
don’t know. The US didn’t ask for that; even the most cynical guys are now saying “Let’s
go; get this done!” There is now an agreed timeline that
the RV is going before the GCR. If this happens – which is where my
money’s on – the RV goes without the other currencies, then everyone else will
adjust within 24-18 hours. It will cause a minor ripple throughout the
world when the other five adjust (during the GCR).
Tony: So when is the
best time for that to happen?
Caller: Should be a
great weekend!
303 caller: I’m
troubled like the first lady, because although I respect your guys completely,
others are making a good case for the end of the year or next year. The
$3.58 rate on the cards, it was alleged that was used to pay long overdue bills
and has nothing to do with the RV.
DC: Sure, it’s all past-due stuff, but it absolutely to do with
the RV, because they didn’t have any other way to pay all that – they had to
revalue.
Tony: It would cost
them a lot less to pay with the old rates. Why would they tell them in
public and on television that they would pay them, back-dated, at the new
rate. Why would they get their people riled up over false promises when
you have a brand-new government that promised to do this the right way?
Who does that make sense to?
Caller: [more of the
same] Does the conversion to the TRN have anything to do with the RV?
DC: Not so far as I know.
Caller: What is Plan A vs
Plan B, and where are we now?
DC: Plan B was to keep the US from doing something stupid, but
the US got in line, and for that we are very thankful. The other countries said, “We don’t trust
you, USA, and we have another country lined up to take the steps if
you do not.” The US waited for the very last minute, and
authority went to Iraq. However, the US asked for a few little
things they have been wanting to do for months, and Iraq reluctantly agreed,
and then there was arguing about who needed to be seated, and then some very
cautious bureaucrats wanted to be super-careful, and here we are on 10.
October. In the same way, the budget would be nice but not critical to
the RV. The rates and construction money have been in the budget since
2010.
Caller: God bless, and
may fortune smile on all of us!
832 caller:
[Appreciation] Never got on before. Here’s what I am going to
do: I have a company for water purification, which is a patent
nightmare. We are going to re-launch the technology and create a lot of
great jobs!
Tony/DC: That’s
wonderful!
Caller: I did buy some
reserves on dinar and dong; how quickly should I cash them to get the
contract rates? Should I cash out a 25K note and get on the plane to
Miami?
DC: As fast as possible. We don’t know how big the pools are, nor
the exact caps.
609 caller: You
mentioned there was a back date – can you give that information?
Tony: Between now and
Tuesday the 14th, but there is something else happening over the weekend. I
believe it might go before then, but DC knows…
DC: I believe it will happen before then.
503 caller: First time
I’ve been on in a year of listening. [Appreciation] I have currencies
on layaway; is there going to be any difference between a layaway and
reserves?
DC: We’ve talked about
this in the past, and we believe that your reserves/layaways that they will be
under scrutiny about timing, being paid up to date, etc., so make sure you can
prove when you set it up and that it has been paid for all along.
Caller: There has also
been talk about NIBs; is that still critical?
DC: There
was concern during the Cyprus crisis but these days I think we don’t have
anything to worry about. I will put mine in a number of accounts, but
because of security, not bank stability. Also, we were told to keep dinar
separate because of tax implications. But you can certainly put your
dinar in an interest-bearing account.
Tony: I’m going to have
my money make money! Also, if the bank is getting trillions of dollars
every day, I’m not concerned with the banks going under. Also, with
Sterling, you can use your reserves to pay off your reserves, so it is not
double-dipping.
Caller: We are all
watching gold, silver, oil going down and dollars going up… any opinion?
DC: I think the price of oil is primarily because of inflationary
fears especially in Germany, Europe’s biggest economy. I think
gold/silver has been a little overpriced, and they are hard to store, so some
people are getting rid of it. Also, there are fears of the world economy
going into recession, and there is less oil consumption; when consumption
goes up, prices will too.
Caller: I would love to
hear Tony ask people to put down their hands twice a week, because we hear the
same people over and over. Once a week would be ample for the return
callers! Blessing to you all!
Tony: Pam has
something she needs to do, so we’re going to cut this call short. It’s
Friday, and she wants to do her exchange… <joking> Ray?
[cannot hear Ray at all]
Ray: My son got an
award at the Great Lakes Naval Base… I’m having a great day, and I’m teaching a
class in Chicago tomorrow.
DC: Congratulations! Iraq is very prepared after a very
slow roll out. We are waiting for Abadi to say it’s completed, and we were
promised that would happen very soon. Remain flexible, because we
expect changes any minute, but I’m excited and expecting this will be done very
quickly. Do write down your RV story so that it can be part of the
archives along with world leaders on the new part of the www.tntdinar.com website.
Pam: Congratulations to
Ray, who is a very great man, and to his son. Click My Dinar Story, which
will only be up for a few days; tell us your story, your whole story –
how you got into it, why you stayed and how you helped others, and what you
intend to do with hit.
Tony: That’s what we
want: what you would
want to say if you were sitting in front of the President or Vice President if
you were sitting in front of them, or the people who put this together, who put
their own careers and families in jeopardy to bring in the information and all
the rest. We will download it and send this to certain people..
We passed the
first time for the announcement and
we have been promised they will keep to the
second time. The 14th could be the time this is announced to the other 4.5 million
people. If you look at the process, it makes sense for this to be
done calmly over the weekend, without all the chaos of the shotgun approach. I
do hope I can do another call later today or tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of
your day!
