An Air Canada A320, flight 624 crashes at Halifax airport, ripping off the landing gear and both engines after what is said to be a hard landing.
One of the passengers say “Just before we hit there was a big ball of light. It hit like a hard landing and we bounced and we skidded.”

TSB investigator Michael Cunningham told reporters Sunday evening the Air Canada flight struck an antenna array, which broke off the main landing gear causing the plane to skid for 1,100 feet after it hit the runway.
