Over the past 24 hours (up to 5pm CDT June 25, 2015) a series of large earthquakes has struck across 3,000 miles of the West Pacific.
A single M6.0 struck, along with a flurry of M5.0 events spanning the area from North of New Zealand West to Indonesia.

This renewed movement along the Central West Pacific was expected, especially the area where the M6.0 struck -- we were watching this area for a shallow earthquake to strike after we saw deep movement below the plate.
After several days of relative "silence" we now begin to see renewed larger activity across the warned areas.
