6/25/2015 — Major earthquake activity across 3,000+ miles — West Pacific unrest showing by Michael Janitch Over the past 24 hours (up to 5pm CDT June 25, 2015) a series of large earthquakes has struck across 3,000 miles of the West Pacific. A single M6.0 struck, along with a flurry of M5.0 events spanning the area from North of New Zealand West to Indonesia. ________ This renewed movement along the Central West Pacific was expected, especially the area where the M6.0 struck -- we were watching this area for a shallow earthquake to strike after we saw deep movement below the plate. After several days of relative "silence" we now begin to see renewed larger activity across the warned areas.
