Sheriffs Across U.S. Rise Up Against Obama Regime

Sheriffs have risen up all over our great nation to stand up against the unconstitutional gun control measures being taken.

The following is a list of sheriffs and state sheriff's associations from who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution against Obama's unlawful gun control measures. I applaud these public servants for their courage and conviction.

I call on sheriffs all over this nation to add their voices to the growing numbers of faithful protectors of our freedom. - Richard Mack

Sheriffs and associations who have made public statements committing to protect their citizens' 2nd Amendment rights from Obama's gun control efforts will be added. Some of these sheriffs are members of the CSPOA, but inclusion in this list does not necessarily mean they are a member.

I am still waiting for an answer. Show me one sheriff, just ONE who doesn't have one inmate in their dungeon where there was no victim or injured party involved. Then you will have my attention. Until then it's all just a dog and pony show of bullshit.

I agree! A real sheriff would protect the people who elected him to prevent victim-less crimes against them

As Paul Harvey used to say, "Self-government won't work without self-discipline."

Common Law, which is what a Sheriff should actually officially be working under, says that you can do anything you want as long as it does not impose upon the rights of or damage the property of another individual. In order for there to be a "crime' there must be an injured party. The state cannot be that party. Only a human being can be injured. Or their property damaged.

So, all of these nuts sitting in jail for victimless crimes, under Common Law should be released.

However, as another posted, is it ok to go 90mph through a residential area? Even if you don't hit someone or damage someone's property? It absolutely is, believe it or not. BUT if you are a responsible person, you will know that it is not the right thing to do to to go zooming through a residential area at 90mph simply due to the fact that you *could* injure someone or damage their property. Common Law will not work without common sense. Common sense would dictate that you should not be doing that.

It is for the people's protection that that nut is in custody for zinging through your neighborhood at 90mph. That Sheriff is completely within his place to cuff 'em and stuff 'em.

As long as there are bad actors in society, who lack common sense, there will always be a need for a Sheriff to have the authority to remove them from society at large, pending the people determining the penalty. (trial by jury in a common law court of justice).

JMHO - YMMV
