What Part of “Against the Law” Does Obama Not Understand?
Why are we even presuming to ask that question when Obama is, by all accounts, lawless?
Hot Air – Count Mitch McConnell among the unimpressed with Barack Obama’s plan to close the detention center at Guantanamo Bay. The Senate Majority Leader responded to Obama’s declared plan to transfer its detainees to one or more of thirteen potential locations within the US by reminding the President that Congress has opposed such a move on a bipartisan basis. And, by the way, such a move would be illegal — under bills Obama has already signed:

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that Congress will review
President Barack Obama's plan to close the Guantanamo Bay prison, but he
warned the 'bipartisan will of Congress' has already spoken out against
the proposal. (Feb. 23)

If the congress does not want the Guantanamo inmates to come to prisons in the US, the military could just walk them to the wire and let the Cubans let them go, free to travel anywhere.
Put Obama in jail for all of his illegal acts and throw away the key.
If they are 'political' prisoners, then they
should be interviewed and allowed to speak
publicly and tell all they know.
The more pieces to the mystery puzzles, the better.
I'm sure the criminal elements would prefer
to hide damning evidence more than concern over
transfers to mainland prisons being 'lawful'.
Remember who the 'real' terrorists are..
