A former Obama administration official, liberal activists and journalists incorrectly shared pictures of children sleeping in enclosed cages from 2014 to take a swipe at the Trump administration and its zero-tolerance policy towards parents and children crossing the border illegally.
It turns out the photographs were published by The Arizona Republic in 2014 after the authorities detained over 1,000 children who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally and placed them in a detention facility. The Daily Calller first reported on the error.
Former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau tweeted one of the pictures showing kids in one of the enclosures, criticized the government for neglecting the children.
“This is happening right now, and the only debate that matters is how we force our government to get these kids back to their families as fast as humanly possible,” Favreau reportedly said before deleting the tweet.

The pictures follow a controversy over the Justice Department’s zero-tolerance policy of separating parents and children when they cross the border illegally.
“If you cross the border unlawfully, then we will prosecute you. It’s that simple,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions said this month. “If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you. And that child may be separated from you, as required by law.”
Trump fired back on Saturday, suggesting the “horrible law” isn’t new and urged Democrats to support its repeal. “Put pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law that separates children from there [sic] parents once they cross the Border into the U.S.” he tweeted.

The Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers, a Senate investigation has found.
The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations, according to a 56-page investigative report released Thursday.
And once the children left federally funded shelters, the report said, the agency permitted their adult sponsors to prevent caseworkers from providing them post-release services.Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) initiated the six-month investigation after several Guatemalan teens were found in a dilapidated trailer park near Marion, Ohio, where they were being held captive by traffickers and forced to work at a local egg farm. The boys were among more than 125,000 unaccompanied minors who have surged into the United States since 2011, fleeing violence and unrest in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.“It is intolerable that human trafficking — modern-day slavery — could occur in our own backyard,” Portman said in a written statement. “What makes the Marion cases even more alarming is that a U.S. government agency was responsible for delivering some of the victims into the hands of their abusers.”
The report concluded that administration “policies and procedures were inadequate to protect the children in the agency’s care.”
HHS spokesman Mark Weber said in a statement that the agency would “review the committee’s findings carefully and continue to work to ensure the best care for the children we serve.” The report was released ahead of a hearing Thursday before the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which Portman co-chairs with Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.). It detailed nearly 30 cases where unaccompanied children had been trafficked after federal officials released them to sponsors or where there were “serious trafficking indicators.” “HHS places children with individuals about whom it knows relatively little and without verifying the limited information provided by sponsors about their alleged relationship with the child,” the report said. For example, one Guatemalan boy planned to live with his uncle in Virginia. But when the uncle refused to take the boy, he ended up with another sponsor who forced him to work nearly 12 hours a day to repay a $6,500 smuggling debt, which the sponsor later increased to $10,900, the report said. A boy from El Salvador was released to his father even though he told a caseworker that his father had a history of beating him, including hitting him with an electrical cord. In September, the boy alerted authorities that his father was forcing him to work for little or no pay, the report said. A post-release service worker later found the boy was being kept in a basement and given little food.
The Senate investigation began in July after federal prosecutors indicted six people in connection with the Marion labor-trafficking scheme, which involved at least eight minors and two adults from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala.
One defendant, Aroldo Castillo-Serrano, 33, used associates to file false applications with the government agency tasked with caring for the children and bring them to Ohio where he kept them in squalid conditions in a trailer park and forced them to work 12-hour days at least six days a week for little pay. Castillo-Serrano has pleaded guilty to labor-trafficking charges and awaits sentencing in the Northern District of Ohio in Toledo.
The FBI raided the trailer park in December 2014, rescuing the boys, but the Senate investigation says federal officials could have discovered the scheme far sooner.
In August 2014, a child-welfare caseworker attempted to visit one of the children who had been approved for post-release services because of reported mental-health problems, according to the report.
The caseworker went to the address listed for the child but the person who answered the door said the child didn’t live there, the report added. When the caseworker finally found the child’s sponsor, the sponsor blocked the caseworker from talking to the child.
Instead of investigating further, the caseworker closed the child’s case file, the report said, citing “ORR policy which states that the Post Release Services are voluntary and sponsor refused services.”
That child was found months later living 50 miles away from the sponsor’s home and working at the egg farm, according to the report. The child’s sponsor was later indicted.

About 12 years ago I had a couple of visions of the President and the Constitution. Today I kept thinking about it and its because there was one thing in the visions God was drawing my attention to. Then I had a vision - I saw a large ship made of iron and it was in the ocean laying on its side - one side of it was all rusty. I then saw a hand come down from Heaven and paint some kind of white stuff on the rust and the rust got healed and then the ship righted itself. Then it changed and, instead of a ship, I saw a yellow Hummer with wide tires. The appearance of it changed - but it was good." - end of vision.
I had the same vision again a little while later. WHEN I SAW THE VISION AGAIN, I SAW A MAN IN OVERALLS STANDING ON THE PART THAT WAS RUSTED ALMOST THROUGH. HE WAS PAINTING THE RUSTED PART. IT WAS A VERY DANGEROUS PLACE TO STAND BECAUSE THE RUST COULD CAVE IN AT ANY TIME. IT WAS DONALD TRUMP I SAW.
I KEPT THINKING OF THIS TODAY. WE NEED TO PRAY FOR HIM BECAUSE THE CORRUPTION HE IS WRESTLING WITH IS MAKING HIS STAND VERY FRAGILE. HE NEEDS SUPERNATURAL PROTECTION.
I feel the ship represents the U.S. and the Constitution. RUST represents corruption. Corruption eats into society like rust eats into metal. The white stuff I saw being painted on was the "rust blocker" you can buy. The Hummer represents strength and multi-purpose, yellow represents the hand of God, and the wide tires represent stability.

The Third Congress authorized the building of six frigates, known today as "Cruisers." The U.S. Navy was created. Among the six frigates to be built, we find the USS Constitution, later to be known as "'Old Ironsides."
This ship was built to defend the young American nation. It was a symbol of "America's strength, courage and liberty." "Old Ironsides" was designed to be powerful enough to out fight any enemy warship approximately her same size and yet fast enough to out sail a larger opponent.
The ship was constructed of white oak from New Jersey, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Her frame was made from the dependable live oak from Saint Simons Island off the coast of Georgia, and her masts were made from the yellow pine found in Georgia and the Carolinas.
She got the name "Old Ironsides" during the battle of the War of 1812. Sailors witnessed iron cannon balls bouncing off her sides. Shouts were heard proclaiming, "Huzzah! Her sides are made of iron!"
The old girl fought many a battle and defeated many foes but, between 1829 and 1833, the US Navy yard commanders conducted a survey to see if the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) was worth saving. A report came from the infamous doctor, speaker, author and leading citizen, Oliver Wendell Holmes. On September 16, 1830, his patriotic poem, "Old Ironsides" was published. This poem helped to prevent the scrapping of this grand old battleship. She went on to win many more battle victories.
In 1907, the US Congress declared that "Old Ironsides" was deemed as a national monument. In 1925, Congress set aside money to have her repaired. Even school children donated their money to have this ship repaired. She had magnificent beauty.
"Old Ironsides" was never defeated or boarded. She rests today in Boston Harbor. She truly is a symbol of what America stands for.
God has His hand on America. The intercessors are faithful and loyal, and we are truly grateful for their ministry as they have the power with God to raise "Old Ironsides."
Please pray for our current "Old Ironsides", President Trump, for God's protection, wisdom, strength and the continual covering of God's prayer warriors so he, too, can bounce off the enemy's cannon balls being lopped against him and win the wars.
Hurdle 1: Last night I bailed Freewill out of jail in Ogemaw county (Michigan) so that he'd be out and have access to whatever he needs in order to shoot down the Oscoda county complaint against him and file a counter-complaint.
Hurdle 2: Last night I also dealt with the actions against him in Crawford county, so that there wouldn't be any holds to take him there, just hearing(s) scheduled at future date(s).
Hurdle 3: Bay
county, which Freewill told me over the jail phone had stated no interest in coming to get him, then did the opposite: they picked Freewill up late last night. Freewill called me this afternoon to inform me that Bay county had held a hearing today, scheduled another hearing for this fall, and set him free. I had a feeling it wouldn't be a lengthy stay but wasn't certain. Bailing Freewill out of the first two hurdles was aimed at getting the ball rolling in Bay county so that matter can finish at an earlier date and Freewill could get out of the mess he's in sooner rather than later. The quick hearing and release are welcome.
Hurdle 4: Freewill called me a short time later, while I was on my way to get him, to tell me that Genesee county has placed a hold on him for a past matter. In 2015 Genesee county sent two representatives to Crawford county to meet with 2 Crawford county deputies to seek payment for child support. Freewill and the Genesee county representatives agreed upon satisfying the claim not in federal reserve notes (unbacked, fiat currency) via Iraq Dinars (oil-backed securities) at the then current oil exchange rate of 95 USD per 1 Dinar, and Freewill handed them Iraq Dinars equivalent to several times the amount sought in USD, followed by the request that Genesee county mail the excess payment back to him. Both sides of the agreement were satisfied and the Genesee county representatives returned to Genesee county. Now, Genesee county is attempting to nullify the agreement and replace it with a demand and forced compliance. Freewill currently awaiting pick up from Bay county to be taken to Genesee county. Probable hearing Monday. A judge with integrity and morals would uphold the terms of the 2015 agreement between Freewill and the two Genesee county representatives, and inform Genesee county that it should choose its representatives more wisely in the future. Genesee county's demand is $1600 as of today. Genesee county may hold Freewill in jail for 1 or 2 months if the judge doesn't do his/her duty to uphold the original agreement and instead lets Genesee county pervert the original agreement into something else, a hostage situation with demand for ransom. Imagine where we all would be if we all were allowed to pull what Genesee county is trying to pull...
Freewill asked me to seek your help with this final hurdle. $1600. I'm ready to give up. It's up to all of you. I put what I had set aside into getting Oscoda and Crawford counties out of the way, I'm tapped out and have Freewill's bills on top of my own coming up due in little more than 1 week. Donald Edward Davis Jr. was a convicted sexual predator – but that didn’t cost him his job in former President Barack Obama’s administration.
Police arrested Davis for downloading child porn on his home computer in Virginia not long before the 2012 election. He admitted he was guilty of two felonies that October – but kept right on working at his high-paying federal job for nearly a year.
Davis was able to hide his status as a child predator, because the Obama administration didn’t require federal employees to report if they’ve been convicted and placed on the sexual offender registry. The state of Virginia also doesn’t have to tip-off employers about any of the 500 offenders who work in other states – or Washington, D.C.
Eventually, the General Services Administration found out and booted him out of his maintenance job, but the shocking fact is that the Obama administration may have let dozens or hundreds of sexual predators infiltrate the federal government… and they may have access to the most sensitive, top-secret information about your family.
A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the NBC News 4 investigative team this month revealed the startling extent of child porn in the federal government. The FOIA search included only a dozen of the 430 separate agencies that make up the federal government. It went back only to 2015. And it only asked for major or criminal porn cases on the federal jobsite but they found 50 cases – most under Obama — from those agencies alone.
Recent, high-profile cases include:
An employee with the Department of Education – the department that is supposed to keep students safe and shape young minds – infected a government computer with malware while downloading child porn on the job. The pervert searched for things like “naked toddlers,” “very young little girls,” “too young boy” and even beastiality. Inspectors found “graphic images of nude children” on the computer and a virus that could have given hackers access to hundreds of federal databases full of children’s names and personal information.
A bureaucrat downloaded 17 images of suspected child porn onto his Federal Aviation Administration-issued computer – but the case never went to court. The man was busted just as President Donald Trump took office, and inspectors said the Justice Department had previously made it policy not to prosecute anyone who downloaded pornographic images of kids younger than 14, according to The Washington Times.
Another FAA employee in New Hampshire was convicted of possessing child porn five months ago. A third FAA employee’s trial is pending.
An Amtrak employee used a government computer to search for such items as “hot girls in knee highs” and “redhead stocking garter” – and downloaded more than 100 sexually-explicit images before inspectors caught on.
Someone who worked for NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center was arrested for buying child porn just before the 2016 election – but died before the case could go to court.
One government worker filled 9 USB drives with porn he downloaded while “on the job” for the Dept. of Agriculture. The employee, who worked in New York, installed his own heavy-duty privacy and internet history-shredding software on his work computer.
Someone who worked for the Commerce Department searched the internet from a work computer for the terms “Lolita,” “school girl inappropriate,” and “preteens dancing.”
The fact that these people are watching the vilest porn imaginable while being paid by U.S. taxpayers is disgusting enough – but there may be something more hideous lurking beneath the surface.
The FBI found that 76 percent of all people involved with online child porn admitted they had also exploited a child in real life – and never gotten caught.
That means there are likely dozens, or hundreds, of child molesters working for the federal government – not to mention the state or local government.
Imagine: Child rapists may work for the NSA, FBI, Secret Service, or Child Protective Services. They could have access to vast databases of information on U.S. citizens – and their children.
We already know federal bureaucrats abuse their government jobs to satisfy their sick, predatory fantasies. And thanks to the unfolding recent government scandals, we know they exploit their power to indulge their private agendas.
Who’s to say one of them won’t go the next step, from watching videos of child rape to performing it? Who’s to say one of them hasn’t already?

A new faith-based group for boys is taking shape, just three months after the Boy Scouts of America decided to change its membership policy to allow gay youth to join.
The group, dubbed Trail Life USA, calls itself a Christian alternative to the Boy Scouts. Its name was recently revealed at a hotel conference before a crowd of about 1,200 parents and scoutmasters, complete with a slick video with a dynamic score. Its motto is "walk worthy," and the group says it will focus on adventure, character and leadership. "Our vision and what we are about is to be the premier national character development organization for young men, which produces godly and responsible husbands, fathers and citizens," said John Stemberger, who led the opposition to the Boy Scouts' policy to allow gay youth. Stemberger, who is an Eagle Scout, said it was a gut-wrenching decision to leave the Boy Scouts. But he said it's time to move on. "Real men value truth over tradition," he told the assembled crowd. "Real men value principle over program, and they value integrity over institutions." Many sessions at the inaugural convention were closed to the media, with a few live-streamed across the country. Leaders are partnering with American Heritage Girls, a group that formed more than 15 years ago as a faith-based alternative to the Girl Scouts. Adults in Trail Life USA must sign a statement of faith and make a commitment to purity. That means scouts will be taught that any sexual activity outside marriage is a sin. Leaders say scouts who are gay will be allowed in, as long as they don't promote or engage in any sexual behavior that is a distraction to the program.

They will not allow youth who are open about their homosexuality. Officials did not comment further about the policy. Some at the conference said they intend to join. Others, like Andy Mallang, an elementary school teacher from Indiana, are investigating their options. Mallang said he made a personal decision to pull his 9-year-old son out of the Boy Scouts because he said its new policy violates his religious beliefs. He said it was a difficult choice. "Whether I'm Christian or I have Muslim friends or Jewish friends or Hindu friends, there's still a time where I need to get along and work together," Mallang said. "I struggle with [thinking], 'Am I doing the right thing?' I am hoping that this organization for boys will be the answer." Responding to the Boy Scouts' new policy, some churches have announced they won't continue to sponsor troops. Others support the change. And some say the century-old organization didn't go far enough, and that troops should also allow adult leaders who are gay. A spokesman for the Boy Scouts says that while a charter group has decided not to continue, other organizations have stepped up to provide a home. The group says 99 percent of its more than 100,000 scouting units remain committed. But Trail Life USA says it expects to charter 1,000 troops as incubators by January, when its program officially begins.
