During an interview on The Colbert Report on January 16, 2007, while promoting his book, The Enemy At Home: The Cultural Left and Its Responsibility for 9/11, D'Souza maintained that liberals were not without fault in the September 11, 2001, attacks. (are you kidding me).....
He says liberals’ "penchant for interference" had a decided affect in convincing the Carter administration to withdraw support from the Shah, which brought on Muslim fundamentalists control of the Iranian government.
He also stated that the distorted representation of American culture on television is one source of resentment of the U.S by Muslims worldwide.
D'Souza believes that traditional Muslims are not too different from traditional Jews and Christians in America.
Towards the end of the interview he admitted that he and Islamic militants share some of the same negative beliefs about liberal Americans.[43]
When he mentioned Obama's reluctance of war with Iran as if that is a terrible thing.. I stopped listening. I know I don't want more war with more nations and certainly not one with Iran that they have been itching for for several years now! He is nothing but a conservative shill and this stupid video is nothing more than a huge political ad. Neither party is worth one red cent and certainly not worth my time to defend either .. If someone wants me to listen to what they say they need to stop promoting one party as somehow better then the other when IMO they are both basically the same and both want to destroy the constitution ..Let's not be so hasty to forget what GWB has done too ok? He is the one that remarked that our constitution was nothing more than a GD piece of paper. Let us not forget that remark as he too was hell bent on destroying the rights of citizens. We do remember how they did all they could to set up a grid to spy on the American people as if we were the same enemies that did 9\11 don't we? Let us not be so hasty to get rid of one creep that we accept another creep in his place. It's time for people to open their eyes and see both for what they truly are so that we have a chance to put an end to the destruction of this nation by both parties! Voting for what I believe to be the lesser of two evils will still have me voting for evil and I refuse to give my vote to it!
Where in the world do you come up with this absurd viewpoint that the Vatican lives by/with/in the RIGHT? There is absolutely no logic to your statement. In fact, I'll bet if a survey was made you would find that there are far more Catholics in the Democratic Party than on "the Right", as you put it.
