CANADAHARRY: I vacationed in Mexico a few weeks ago and handled a new $5. Nice big red 5 on back. Then grabbed a new $10 which I keep as proof of the new us release. Dated 2013 and signed by Jacob j Lew. Secretary of the Treasury. The 10 is in GOLD. large script lettering in red says 'we the people'. Gold liberty torch. So it's all true after all. I can post a pic if I knew where.

They are NOT US Treasury Currency.
I received one last week and other this week of $20 FR Notes dated 2013, and this is the 1st time the year 2013 showed up, but they are NO different than the 2009 version.
Just because they have Jacob Leu on it does NOT mean they are backed by Gold or Silver.
There is NO 'we the people' anywhere on this Note.
How about taking pictures with your cell phone - front and back of each - and sending in to be posted? Proof is much better than hearsay.
I would certainly like to see a photo of the new $10 bill. You did not mention if it said US Treasury note or Federal Reserve Note ?
First week in May i withdrew several hundred FRNs and was given a new Ben Franklin with all the gold stuff and bell. These "gurus" need to catch up with current events
