(Dinar Recaps Note: this link is for a VERY large video
file, it will take a while to download, especially if you have a slow
connection or old computer.)
Hello Folks,
Here are a few very interesting turn of events and another download link to yesterday's webcast, this one should work: Download Link
OK, first:
Coalition ! calls for Iraq to hold an open meeting to approve the budget
Quote: "the House of Representatives approving the budget bill so as not to be a black spot in the history of the current session of the Iraqi parliament. "

If this is true and they can get it
done before the June 14th Turki should have everything he needs for the
economic situation to be right for the country, especially since OFAC
has already terminated the prohibitions under Obama's new executive order
amending EO 13303.
Keep in mind, as I said on my webcast the other day: with the prohibitions terminated the follow things have occurred: the currency transfer companies have been approved to buy the USD straight from the CBI and the IMF's Article VI and Article VIII of the Articles of Agreement are now complete so the IQD is free now to move into the global markets as a tradable currency.
Now we just need to see the political situation be correct for the country so Governor! Turki can implement the reform program and here is a great start in seeing this happen.
The majority is not with Maliki but with the other political blocs according to this article:
Citizen: the majority of the Libyan state law is not with al-Maliki, but with other blocs
Quote:
"Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has had 95 seats, representing less than one-third of the members of Parliament, ! then your majority public is with the other two-thirds, not wi! th this o! ne-third,"
OK, the ratification of the election results should be announced between Tuesday the 10th and Saturday the 14th and we will see the New Alliance announced and the formation of the New Government will be underway.
I would think Turki should have everything he needs because the political and economic situation will be right for the country and the timing couldn't be better for the launch of the Iraqi Stock Exchange going global July 1, 2014 and also remember that the global stock market comes into Iraq as well.
