public on Monday after an unexplained 10-day absence.

Unless and until it is proven otherwise,
Vladimir Putin is a dynamo that surely understands his adversary.
He should be respected for his outward appearance of composure, and strength reflecting the demeanor of a capable well focused statesman.
We cannot say that of Barack Obama, unfortunately.
Mr. Putin knows what he's up against; an insane US think tank that would like nothing better than to perform
another neccessary 'regime change', carve up their country, go in for the kill, loot the holy hell out of it,
then set up one of those wholly familiar bank branches.
Russia's leader couldn't be expected to do anything less than protect her borders, people and resources against unreasonable imaginings as might be delivered unrequested by some domineering strategists.
We've done something rude on a similar order once already to Russia, (USSR) when President Reagan was in office, I don't think they need any more of our kind of 'help'.
Again, that kind of thinking does not engender security, peace and calm.
It is no wonder that he always looks seriously determined.
He is committed to keeping his country intact. Who could blame him?
At the present moment Obama, performing the tasks of his paymasters, appears to be hovering the same as an annoying mosquito; if it is bothersome, naturally you would swat it.
As to Putin's pale skin in the photo, perhaps he had a touch of the flu.
Let's hope nothing more sinister was involved, whether aimed at him or at us.
