Within three days of receiving any kind of notice. Return it with the statement written across it's face and signed that you cancel the contract. Send it certified return receipt requested. All contracts can be cancelled within 3 days. Keep doing it for everything they send you!
I moved a mobile home against ordinances and did not get a permit and was handed a fine letter. I cancelled it and did not hear another word from them. I since sold the property and the mobile home is still there!

For every problem, we must stop looking it with the same view as the past.
First, the City of Lake Worth is a piece of paper, and who can or will fight a piece of paper.
It doesn't speak, and yes there are other papers that have a letterhead with the name on it, but someone signed that document. That's who you are dealing with. If they are bonded, their insurance should handle any suit you bring for any harm they cause.

Two, if they have anywhere in their code the word 'church', then Common Ground Church should change it's name to Common Ground Place of Worship or Common Ground Assembly, or anything other than Church.

The people who are acting under the name of the city have a job to enforce the code and if the code says church, they can go see what a church who has opened it's doors to the public is doing in the publc
Remember code is for public activities not private activities.

Without a disclaimer or notice like someone stating, if you park here your car will be towed, or any other kind of warning or notice for public viewing like, this establishment is licensed to sell liquor, or this elevator has been inspected for safety, or if you double park you will be towed, and other notices, if there is no notice as to the intent of the meeting and if has it's activities in a business park, or a business district, or in a business mall or strip, then the landlord can be in violation of the code for which he is renting business space, and can be held accountable for the violations.

The Republic (self governing people) knows when they are a part of a problem or when they have created a trespassed into another territorial boundary to fix it immediately without complaint, but the people in the system of government think they have rights to refuse to comply with rules written by the people they elected to make the rules in the first place.

I'm sure they didn't want some other religion to establish itself without everyone knowing where it is that the people gather for focus on the same belief.

Well guess what, this applies regardless of religion.

So the church needs to change it's name if the word church is in it, record a disclaimer in the public to be easily viewed so folks know what they are getting into, a church or not a church, a business or not a business, and they need to stop accepting money which is operating in commerce and controlled by the city that has actors keeping the code enforced and ask for donations instead.

They can identify their selves as non profit or any other thing that would be identified and exempt in the code, and still spread it's message by word of mouth.

No more fighting.
If someone says you stepped on their toe, even if their foot was never in the room you were in, then do something different to make sure that claim can never exist again, even if it is to give notice, "please do not come within three feet of me as I might step on your toe', and if they get their toe stepped on, well that means the three feet distance was breached to something shorter.

We can be self governing but we must stop using their words that they control.
Yes it's in a dictionary, but slang, and ebonics and pig latin are words that were invented by people so why not invent a new meaning for what the assembly does and use that meaning.

I wish them well, but they will have to look different at the situation and find a peaceful solution that will not get the landlord in trouble.

This state government is violating this churches Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. It's time for all of these city employees to all be fired from their jobs for misrepresenting and not protecting the American churches.

What ever happened to separation of church and state? Religious freedoms, as long as all respect other religious choices?
How have we arrived where we are today......we let them!!!
We need to learn to be stewards of this earth! We need to learn to protect our freedoms...we say nothing, we have nothing left...explain that to your children and grandchildren....better yet, explain this to yourself, and see if you are content to continue to sit on your "laurels!"
Not much time left, my dear friends ...I, personally expect better! I demand better!
You must have to want it bad enough??

It sounds beautiful in writing....unfortunately, it will take all of us, worldwide, standing together United ...with our power, and our morals in tack..clearly protecting the earth, our freedoms, and our universal rights....we could be using the Internet to unite peoples in a common cause to make thinks right...this is our media..it is time we used it correctly. We have to come together, in a loud enough voice, all moving in the same direction to change this world, and then create the paradise!
