with red arrows and white text boxes are my work. Did that on another
website, to show what a new aircraft undergoing flight test looks like. I
stood inside a newly constructed commercial aircraft at Boeing and this
is exactly what I saw. Metal barrels mounted in racks are filled with
water. Water is pumped between the banks of barrels to shift the center
of gravity from one side to the other.
This testing is done to EVERY single plane Boeing builds. A test like this must take place in a similar way at other aircraft manufacturers to obtain flight certification. This is all a normal part of FAA flight certification approval. Description of objects in the photo was STOLEN from text in my article written Feb. 2008.
