AMERICAS, ASIA, EUROPE

May 29, 2015

Over the past 7 days (up to May 29, 2015) there have been a series of noteworthy seismic events globally. Two unexpected eruptions on both sides of the Pacific, at Wolf Volcano in Central/South America and this mornings sudden volcanic eruption at Shindake Volcano in Japan.

Going forward, the areas named in the video are explained fully. We need to watch for the next 7 days in just a few spots globally. Named out Oregon, and Washington state (instead of Vancouver BC)... however don't rule out the Island of Vancouver itself for possible larger movement. The fact that Vancouver has NOT been hit in the past several weeks means the areas just South should move soon.

Keep watch in North California, Oregon, Washington State for possible noteworthy earthquake activity above 5.0M over the next 7 days.

Look near Sumatra / Indonesia for possible large movement above the upper 6.0M range (possibly even larger) over the next 7 days.

Japan should show much larger earthquake activity over the next 7 days, and possibly more news on sudden blasts at not well know volcanoes (Mount Hakone near Tokyo being one possibility that stands out).

Central West Pacific should now watch for large movement near Vanuatu / Fiji / Tonga in the upper 6.0M to possible 7.0M range over the next 7 days.

India should watch South of the previous Nepal epicenter, possibly as far North as the China border. Don't rule out Nepal, but it looks more like India needs to be on watch for a possible event above 6.0M (less than 7.0M) event over the next 7 days.

Further west, still keep watch in Turkey (carrying over from last week) in light of the new swarm of earthquakes that has finally developed in the area we were watching. This could lead to a noteworthy earthquake after a long period of silence. It could be in the 6.0M range, but I don't know if the swarm will take away some of the pressure, thus making it a 5.0M event. The other possibility is that the swarm is a precursor to a LARGER than 6.0M event (hope not!). Keep watch in Turkey into Greece regardless.

Europe, two areas to watch in particular over the next 7 days for movement in the upper 3.0M to lower 4.0M range... North Belgium into Netherlands, possibly as far West as the shores of North France (Normandy / English channel).

United States (other than West Coast), next 7 days craton edge WILL move , and it will be noticeable. Fracking operation in Colorado should show back up in the 3.0M+ range, and the Texas operations should really start moving now that the flooding has occurred. Oklahoma, and Kansas should BOTH see greater than 4.0M+ activity. East coast should see movement follow the midwest 4.0M's which should hit over the next few days. The movement on the East coast should either be swarms of small events across multiple states (like we saw this past week), or possibly one single larger event in the Mid-Atlantic states (3.0M )?

South California, Los Angeles should see multiple new events at the fracking operations in the Downtown area North to Coalinga, CA.

New Madrid seismic zone back in the picture (I live in Missouri, so this effects me personally).. keep watch for possible 3.0M+ or even a low 4.0M event. The chances are fairly low that anything will hit, but still keep watch, the zone is primed for movement along the Missouri , Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio region.

Central America, next 7 days watch NORTH of Mexico city near the US border with Texas / Arizona (on the Mexico side) for possible 4.0M+ activity (this includes Baja California to San Diego).

Watch South of Mexico for a possible new eruption to hit .  Seems eruptions are hitting as opposed to large earthquakes recently. Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua -- keep watch for new eruptions (or a large earthquake in the 6.0M range if an eruption doesn't hit -- however I'm more expecting an eruption based upon past recent activity).

South America, Argentina through Boliva to the Peru border. Chile is set to show movement again via a volcanic eruption, since we just saw multiple 5.0M strike near San Pedro volcano, we should watch in this region for a new possible eruption.

See all the events from this past week on the websites:

Over the past week, multiple dormant volcanoes showed movement across the West coast in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state, as well as earthquakes in South America (Chile) near San Pedro Volcano.

A 5.4M (4.8M revised) struck a dormant volcanic butte near Las Vegas Nevada, and this morning a 6.8M struck the shores of Alaska.

THREE different 6.8M + 6.9M earthquakes struck in Papua New Guinea.

A 4.0M + 3.0M earthquake struck England, and a swarm has struck Turkey in Europe.
