Smith & Wesson nails what Obama did for gun sales in one sentence

The irony of the gun control debate is that when it seems tighter gun control policy is coming, sales spike.
"[W]e experienced strong consumer demand for our firearm products following a new administration taking office in Washington, D.C. in 2009," said the management of gunmaker Smith & Wesson.
That's when President Barack Obama moved into the White House.
The explanation for this phenomenon is pretty simple: If there's a risk that you won't be able to buy guns in the near future, then buy your guns now.
Sadly, the biggest pushes for more gun control come after high-profile shootings, like the 2012 killing of 20 children at Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School. And it's following those incidents that gunmakers report strong sales.
In its presentations to investors, Smith & Wesson management celebrate the seemingly ever growing demand for firearms. One proxy for demand is the volume of background checks that get submitted to the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System, or NICS. As you can see in the chart above, NICS is going up.
On Thursday, Smith & Wesson announced better-than-expected quarterly earnings, driven by a 6.2% increase in sales.
"We are very pleased with our fiscal 2015 results, particularly our fourth quarter performance," CEO James Debney said. "Looking forward, we anticipate further sales and earnings growth in fiscal 2016 as we continue to position our company for long-term success."
To be clear, gunmakers don't benefit from tighter gun control. They benefit when there are talks of tighter gun control but those talks go nowhere.
Should tighter gun control actually get signed into law, then you would have a different story. Smith & Wesson explains: "Currently, federal and several states’ legislatures are considering additional legislation relating to the regulation of firearms. These proposed bills are extremely varied, but many seek either to restrict the makeup of a firearm, including restrictions on magazine capacity, or ban the sale and, in some cases, the ownership of various types of firearms.
"In addition, if such restrictions are enacted and they are incongruent, we could find it difficult, expensive, or even impossible to comply with them, impeding new product development and distribution of existing products."

Get it in your head folks, no children were killed in Sandy Hook.
FBI records show no killings and all the children were in a group picture after the alleged shooting.
That school had been shut down for two years at the time of the alleged shooting.
As usual Obummer was lying again as he did in the Boston fake bombing as well.
To take us over he needs to take our guns. After that he plans to kill 90% of us so he doesn't care what we think of him. Not going to happen. Ken T.
Why are there no restrictions made on the gun manufacturers instead of the public?
Even on these False Flag incidents they claim the shooter was on drugs, but the Government cannot put restrictions on us to not get drugs.
Maybe some people need to go and get the school records of the students that attended the newer school in Connecticut and they will either find out those records show those students attended both schools or the records are now classified.
And why would they be classified, in order to give respect to those that died?
In any other normal shooting at any school in America the records would not be classified.

Gums are a problem for THEM because we can defend ourselves from their tyranny and so the continuing attacks against our guns - going on again right now after the shootings in Charleston. But the 'gov' is not stopping there. There is a mind control program commonly known as MKUltra (only one of several now). It has been PROVEN that the rogue 'gov' continues to utilize this program today. In recent years most ALL of the shootings have been done by young men under this program. Look closely at the eyes - vacant - not 'with it' - zoned out - can't remember what happened - don't know they shot anyone. Second, they are always on a drug or drugs - once programmed the CIA keeps the kids on drugs - zoned out - easier to keep programmed. Third, almost always the shooter 'commits suicide' - though more recently this has not always been the case. Much of the time the cops kill the young men. Look back over shootings of the past few years - Columbine, Boston, Sandy Hook, Charleston, and all the others that have made national propaganda 'news'. Don't you see the pattern here? The problem is not the guns nor the people. The real problem is the criminals in the 'gov' who are on the push to bring in the NWO, and to do that they must disarm the Americans so they cannot defend themselves. How do you get the people begging the 'gov' to 'help' them get rid of the shootings? You CREATE the shooting problems - mind control - so the people will have FEAR and BEG to be 'protected' - disarm America. Wake up sir - you are missing the entire 'program' altogether.

The Legal people would have to turn in their guns but those criminals would not be willing to turn in their guns to make things safe as in those cities that allowed guns there was a drastic lower rate of shootings.
If the people would demand that the gun manufacturers be limited to only sell to the military, National Guard, or law enforcement then that would be a move that the Government could not say they disapprove of that or else they approve guns to be made for all so the criminals can get access to them.
Well since the government is the one who brings in the drugs over the border and also flies the drugs in then they want people on drugs. The shooter of the church group was MK ULTRA. There is no doubt in my mind. The media always says they were loners and or they were on drugs. MORE LIKE SINGLED OUT AND MIND CONTROLLED! I was talking to my mayor about our school which I graduated from and NEVER had the police in school and that school is now locked down 24/7, the entrance of it looks like a prison because that is what they want for your children to be treated like prisoners. The mayor's answer to me was, " Times have changed!" That statement has at least two connotations depending on if the person who says it is awake or not. He knew some things that are happening but he does not understand that the children have not changed because there were always trouble makers but the PURE EVIL has hastened their plans. The police are the one's who are killing us!!!!!!! I think you are very naive. TRAIN EVERYONE AND ARM EVERYONE and the shooter would get one shot off. There would be very few murders and that includes the paid mercenaries they call police. They would be very freightened to pull the b*llsh*t that they are pulling now.
