BANG! OBAMA COCKS HAMMER ON NEW GUN CONTROL!
BOZO: 'Biggest frustration' inability to make sweeping changes for 'public safety'
WND EXCLUSIVE
Obama told the BBC he has felt “distressed” and “stymied” over his inability to get gun-control passed through Congress, and he will double down on these efforts in his remaining months in office.
Obama’s comment went to air on the British broadcasting network just hours before a lone gunman shot two people dead at the Grand Theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, before taking his own life.

Obama - “The issue of guns, that is an area where, if you ask me, where has been the one area where I feel that I’ve been most frustrated and most stymied it is the fact that the United States of America is the one advanced nation on Earth in which we do not have sufficient common-sense, gun-safety laws,” he told the BBC. Obama said the number of Americans killed since 9/11 by 'terrorism' was less than 100 while “tens of thousands have been killed by gun violence.”
“For us not to be able to resolve that issue has been something that is distressing. But it is not something that I intend to stop working on in the remaining 18 months,” he said.

He did not mention that the overwhelming majority of shootings occur in urban areas with strict gun laws by criminals who don't obey those laws.
"We have been expecting an all-out assault on the Second Amendment by Obama in the last years of his term," said Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president and founder of the Second Amendment Foundation. "Thank God that the House of Representatives and the Senate are not in control of the Democrats, or our gun rights would be toast.
"Obama will do as much damage as he can get away with by executive orders and actions as he can. We will be fighting him all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court."
Jerry Henry, executive director of GeorgiaCarry.org, said the "transforming" of America into a socialist state cannot be considered a done deal until guns are confiscated from law-abiding Americans.
"Obama told everyone five days prior to the election in 2008 that he would fundamentally change America. In order to accomplish that, he must do away with our constitutional rights first," said Henry. "The Second Amendment is one of those rights that must be abolished in order for him to succeed in this endeavor."

Henry said Obama continuously skirts the truth about what really happens with firearms.
"He says, 'The number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism was less than 100 while tens of thousands had been killed by gun violence.' Apparently he does not count the U.S. military as Americans even while denying their right to self-defense when on bases in America."
It's clear from news reports this year that the president is eager to spend his final months in office "pushing a gun-control agenda that is not gaining much traction with law-abiding citizens," said David Workman, senior editor of the Gun Mag. "Whether it’s an attempt to ban ammunition or exploit tragic events, Mr. Obama appears to be trying to erode the Second Amendment any way he can."
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said the president, now on a trip to Kenya and elsewhere in Africa, was briefed on the Louisiana shooting and would continue to stay updated on the situation.
"The thoughts and prayers of everyone at the White House, including the president and first lady, are with the community of Lafayette, Louisiana, especially the families of those who were killed," Earnest said, according to a CBS News report. The White House issued no such statement after the shooting death of Kate Steinle July 1 by an illegal immigrant in San Francisco.
Obama has pushed for stricter gun control since 2008, but hasn't managed any major changes to federal law.
A December 2014 poll by the Pew Research Center revealed that Americans say protecting gun rights is more important that controlling gun ownership, 52 percent to 46 percent.
If Obama had not deemed Obamacare a more important issue than the right to keep and bear arms in his first term when the Democrats were in complete control, we would have had a much larger fight on our hands and could have well lost the battle legislatively, Henry said.
"All gun owners need to take heed of whom they vote for and keep the balance in Congress that we currently enjoy as this is our only salvation for the time being," he said. "And, unfortunately, his onslaught will continue until he is finally out of office."
Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, told WND he was "delighted" to have been part of the president's frustration.
"The more he is frustrated the safer are our liberties," Pratt said.
