When my grandparents moved from Poland to Detroit during WW2, like all immigrants at the time, they went to night-school to learn English. They wanted to be Americans. Today, a good percentage of “immigrants” are looking to not be Americans, but to recreate the same mess of their homelands here. And US govn’t bozos bend over to accommodate them, providing free money (more money that to US citizens), interpreters, and everything is done in multi-languages. They have no incentive to “integrate.” Crazy in all directions.
Meanwhile if you go to Mexico or most other countries- you have to learn their language, you get no money or any other assistance.
Greek culture was destroyed, as I believe Cicero said, by “too much tolerance,” (today called political-correctness.)
