Ron Paul correct - Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense. What's going on here?
February 4, 2013
The shooting of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield is for sure tragic, but Ron Paul is correct on what he is said to have tweeted, that "Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense".
Why should the (former mental patient?) mental patient, Eddie Ray Routh, have been anywhere near a firing range or a firearm in his state of mind? These guys that develop post traumatic stress disorders may not be receiving enough stay in veteran's hospitals due to the lack of government funding for veterans and wounded veterans, but they certainly don't belong right back out on a firing range.
In fact, something is wrong here. Just who is it that 'prescribed' as part of Routh's treatment a trip to the firing range with one of the sharpest marksmen in history?! Doesn't this set off a few alarm bells with anyone?!
Here we have an ex-serviceman, or at least it appears that Chris Kyle was now not in the military, and he leads another serviceman suffering from PTSD (unstable) back out to the firing range? For what purpose? Why was this necessary? A weird kind of 'cure', wouldn't you say?!
Doesn't anyone see the logic in what Ron Paul is getting at here? People that jumped to conclusions to suggest Ron Paul blamed Kyle for his own death are being 'passive-aggressive' again, taking something not stated to another level.

THE PLOT, THE CASE, THE TARGET, is what the "Stolen Valor Mafia" calls their exploits in the name of their imaginary Stolen Valor in their heads.

It is turning out that... The supposed "P.T.S.D.ers Mother" set up the meeting one day and off to the gun range they all went. It was just another walk in the park for the Army Sniper .. but NOT such a good experience for a drunk ex-Marine; who may or may not really suffer from real combat P.T.S.D.

The highest number of P.T.S.D.ers are lined up by the tens of thousands at the V.A.. The V.A. is 10,000 vets behind, at this very moment.

This combat Marine Veterans Mother, and hard ass Chris Kyle decided to "HELP HIM"... There is really, NO V.A. Shooting Therapy Program, and Chris Kyle is not a therapy Guru for the V.A. and it's therapy programs do not include shooting at all.

Too many other P.T.S.D. victims of "the valor vultures" know the scenario is very simple. A none thinking War Hero and his neighbor drove the younger real P.T.S.D Maine Jar-Head to a firing range to "HELP" him. OMG. Obviously, the Marine did Not want to particapate and was NOT really on a V.A. Theraputic treatment and was probably harassed and dishonored by the sniper and his friend. BANG... BANG.... is when the P.T.S.D.er goes off. He threw down the murder weapon in the dirt.

Pretty simple to me with combat P.T.S.D. too. Then he HAD to take the truck he was driven there in. The shooting took place almost immediately on the range. NOT long at all. There is your sign. He went home to be found. This is merely the ending mistake of Chris Kyle and anybody who would go along for their entertainment.

Sooooooo who's really a victim here..? Who's really guilty of stupidity here..? Is the smell of gunsmoke and the percussion "a trigger" to P.T.S.D. brain-flooding, emmersion..? There you go.
