ZIMBWABE CURRENCY

Hi John,

There's been in the past few days articles coming up like this one below that came out on Dinares Gurus website about the Zim Currency.  I wanted to tell you what my Zim dealer told me because a lot of people are probably just as  confused as I am on this subject.  See below.  Maybe if you post this, it can help others that hold this currency to understand it better.

(SEE MY QUESTION AND HIS  RESPONSE BELOW)

ZIMBABWE RATE FROM MSN CONVERTER CURRENCY FROM TNT FORUM, 27 FEB

Anyone care for a ZIM or two ?????

1 ZIM = 1.1875 AUD

Even the removal of 6 or 9 zeros makes this a happy investment ...  assuming of course that MSN hasn't been smoking something

Subject: Zimbabwe Currency

Hi Fxxxxx,

I bought some Zimbabwe Notes from you and had a question for you.  Are these
notes the same as you see on most currency converters as ZWD, or is the
Zimbabwe Dollar different than this currency?

Just trying to understand the difference.  Because obviously the value is
much different and I don't think it has revalued to that much since I
purchased them from you.  What is three letter code for this currency, if it
has one?

Thanks again,
xxxxxxxx

(HIS RESPONSE)

Hi there,
This is the question of the day due to the quotes posted on XE.com, but we
are unable to verify the accuracy of the quote and unable to find evidence
any retired Zimbabwe currency has been remonetized yet. As of our latest
information, the notes are still retired currency until we can verify
exchangeability. We will likely leave our currency for sale until such time
as they are revalued higher, so you can keep any eye on our website for
price updates if there has been a verifiable event you should see our prices
rise substantially. Until then, we are in the same boat as you, trying to
figure out the situation, trying to contain our excitement.LOL.

Cheers,
XXXXX
