US Treasury Secretary, Jacob Lew, stressed
Washington has doubts if the China-led bank will be able to “adhere to
the kind of high standards that the international financial institutions
have developed.”
"Will it protect the rights of workers, the environment, will it deal with corruption issues appropriately?" Lew asked.
But the Chinese finance minister gave an assurance that the AIIB will not compete with existing international organizations.
"History revisited, the establishment of
regional investment banks including the ADB (Asian Development Bank) and
the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development did not weaken
established (institutions), rather they reinforced the multilateral
financial organizations and more vigorously pushed forward the global
economy," Lou stressed.

Well if anybody should know anything about corruption in banking, Jack Lew should and his little old FED broad, Yellin. Of course, some of us have been told that the Treasury took over the FED, over a year ago; only nobody told the media, or if they did the media didn't tell everybody, so most people still think the FED is alive and well, doing business as usual.
Interesting that Lew - one of the top all time criminals of Wall Street - became the head of the newly 'restored US Treasury" when the Fed Res criminal banking system supposedly lost its charter????? How much confidence does that provide in our US Treasury? A known criminal moves from one criminal financial institution to another financial institution? What criminal activities is Lew going to initiate with the US Treasury? Do you have confidence in ANY organization that continues to move its obedient criminal employees from one institution to another? What has changed in banking in America - name only? But the criminal thievery continues unchecked?
