The County is Sick So a Doctor is Running for Sheriff

Vote for Dr. Ray Seidel for Sheriff of Lincoln County. Seidel is running as a strict constitutionalist. Seidel is running because our government is corrupt from the top down. Dr. Seidel’s vision is to restore our country from the bottom up, one county at a time. Our constitution, by deference to state law, makes the sheriff the supreme law enforcement officer of the land. A constitutional sheriff is a citizen’s advocate and a firewall between you and the federal government. Consider one unthinkable transgression against your rights with Obama signing the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), which authorizes the president to detain any person indefinitely without the right to appear before a judge, nullifying Habeas Corpus. Unbelievably this takes our rights back to pre Magna Carta days, AD 1215. Romney has said he supports NDAA. The Patriot Act, NDAA, and a host of laws and executive orders, in the name of homeland security, have stripped our rights and reduced us to a benevolent dictatorship. Federal warrants have to go through the sheriff’s office. Remember a constitutional sheriff is a citizen’s advocate and may be your only protection from the corrupt federal government. I have heard concern that Seidel is not trained in law enforcement. This like saying that the president is not trained to be commander in chief. We have a long history of civilian control of the military and Lincoln County is similar in microcosm. Seidel has taken the prudent measure to bring on board long time deputy Minerva Davalos, and Sheriff Richard Mack as Undersheriff to ensure experienced law enforcement. Sheriff Mack is a founder of the important Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association. Seidel is running as a write in candidate because he cannot stand the failures of where the two party system has led us. Seidel is a courageous patriot willing to stand up from the comfort of his successful medical practice to enter the arena and do something. Courageous sheriffs have the constitutional power to cause change. Consider what Sheriff Joe Arpaio has done in Arizona. Instead of flippantly criticizing Dr. Seidel, instead of running with the status quo herd, and to better understand what Dr. Seidel stands for, please take time to read Sheriff Richard Mack’s book, with forward by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, County Sheriff America’s Last Hope. This book is an inspirational call to restoring liberties. Yes this is a candidacy that has actually written a book about the role of a sheriff and, oh by the way, Sheriff Richard Mack won a Supreme Court decision against the Brady Bill’s assault on the Second Amendment. The Seidel-Mack-Davalos candidacy is a big deal for Lincoln County and your constitutional rights. Seidel says he wants to make this the freest county in the United States.
