Overpopulation: The Making of a Myth

Subject: Overpopulation: The Making of a Myth

A quick look at "overpopulation."

It started in England, coincidentally
when the British elite were trying
to eliminate the Irish.

Interestingly, the overpopulation
people are most enthusiastic about
reducing populations where there
are a lot of non-Anglo people
who are sitting on a lot of natural
resources they want.

They never talk about reducing
the population of government
bureaucrats.

I'm sure we could get to 10 billion, hell let's go for a trillion, is this the goal of mankind? Wall to wall flesh? It's not how many the earth can support, it's the quality of life, do you want 'soylent green'? I have seen Calif. go from pretty much a paradise in the 50's to the cesspool it is today, way too many freeways, subdivisions, industrial parks, people everywhere. Saw the same thing in Colorado from the mid 60's to today, they ruined the place. Durango, Ridgeway, Dolores, Aspen, Telluride, Ophir, the list goes on and on, beautiful semi wilderness now cesspool towns. Let's just see how many more mouths we can pump out and see how miserable we can make this rock, sounds like a good plan to me. Go for it.
