Hi, Folks -
Many people feel many different ways about Paul Andrew Mitchell. I'm not suggesting how anyone should feel about this news. But Paul has definitely been "part of the community", and an Internet presence, for a good many years.
Thanks to Reader PJ for bringing this to our attention. :)
Here's an overview of what's going on, complete with a viewable PDF of indictments for Joseph Ruben Hill ("Joe Hill") and Mitchell Paul Modeleski ("Paul Andrew Mitchell"):
Paul Andrew Mitchell has been bundled away by the US Government / All is well in the United States of Amerikkka
http://tekgnosis.typepad.com/tekgnosis/2014/02/paul-andrew-mitchell-has-been-bundled-away-by-the-us-government.html
The charges listed relate to Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice and Obstruction of Justice, in the specific form of urging clients not to comply with grand jury subpoenas, thus impeding a grand jury investigation.
The information being put forward is that Paul is registered in the Bureau of Prisons database as No. 44202-086 - and if one enters that number in the Inmate Locator at the BOP web site, sure enough, a record for "Paul Andrew Mitchell", a white male, age 65, is what returns from the database search. According to that, Paul is in the SEATAC detention facility in Seattle at this time. That may change - it's possible he'll be moved at some point to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where the indictments originated.

(I think it's a little strange that the indictment cites Mitchell Paul Modeleski while the BOP record lists Paul Andrew Mitchell, but perhaps they really are referring to the same man.)
Paul's website:
http://supremelaw.org
Paul's freely downloadable book, "The Federal Zone:
Cracking the Code of Internal Revenue" - NOTE, Paul is known to get upset and become belligerant if the downloadable book is reposted elsewhere, so don't do that:

To the best of my knowledge, Paul was the first to discover and make known the existence of _two_ court systems in America, the United States District Courts (USDC) and the District Courts of the United States (DCUS).

Thanks for posting this information. Its not uncommon for civil activists to be jailed and silenced unfortunately. Its happened to me twice. Each time charges were dropped after my incarceration.

With the power of the pen also came the power of corruption that seems to envelope all people that are caught in its wake. Paul Andrew Mitchel was no different; so as he fought corruption he was corrupted. He has done a great service for this country, and yet he has screwed many on his way. He has taken me for $2400.00. If you screw one you are capable of screwing many more in the name of " fighting corruption ". So now you see: what comes around goes around. I for one think its time he pays his due; and what doesn't kill you will make you a better man!!! Respectfully, Richard
