Replace the sugar in the recipe with organic erythritol and significantly reduce the carbs in the recipe. Replace the sugar measure for measure with erythritol and add a little stevia to boost sweetness. Erythritol is just like sugar in recipes but is not as sweet. Your 30 grams of carbs can be reduced to about 2-5 grams depending on the flour you use. Get organic erythritol, however, as this is made from corn and you do not want to consume GMO's. This is considered a safe sweetener. More information about this is available at Wellness Bakeries (google.) Also google Healing Gourmet. The creator of these sites is a certified nutritionist.
