Banks will be closed, credit / debit cards will not work.

The collapse will not happen until Sept - Oct 2015 and after the RV. They will RV before the crash just to get their hands on all the money which everyone will have to deposit with banks. Since you cannot take more than $10k in cash this will leave billions stuck in accounts which will be subject to evaporation by seizure and major devaluation of the dollar.
So once it does RV buy up everything you will need because all the funds left in banks will be wiped out. But you have until Sept - Oct 2015 before this happens.
